Rocket League and NHL 18 World Championship Finals Are Coming To June

After two consecutive events in North America, the world finals of the Rocket League Championship Series will finally return to Europe. The fifth season of the RLCS World Championship will be held at the Copper Box Arena in London from 8 to 10 June.

The European Gale Force eSports (current champions), Renault Vitality, EnVyUs and compLexity Gaming and the North American G2 Esports, NRG Esports, Cloud9 and Evil Geniuses have already been confirmed for the title.

CompLexilty and EG will open the competition with the first round, valid for access to the quarterfinals. The two teams will challenge the winners of the Throwdown Esports: Rocket League Challenge, a tournament that will allow two teams from Oceania - including Chiefs eSports Club, Legacy Esports, Dark Sided and Tainted Monds - to compete in the 5th edition of the World Championship.

NHL Gaming World Championship

About ten days after the Rocket League World Cup will be the turn of another sports title. This is NHL 18, with its NHL Gaming World Championship, scheduled for June 19 in Las Vegas.

The world's finals will have access to the 6 best players in the world, first placed in their respective regional May. Opening the LAN qualifying dances at the event will be Europe on Sunday 6, followed by Canada on Friday 11 and the United States on Sunday 20.

NHL Gaming World Championship

The NHL Gaming World Championship Final will start with a round robin phase. The first two ranked players will then face an intense Best of 3 match to determine the winner. The champion will receive a cash prize of $ 50,000, the inaugural tournament trophy and will participate in the NHL Awards 2018 as a guest.
