Diablo 4 1.2.2 Tier List - Best Classes & Builds In D4 After Patch 1.2.2

11/16/2023 9:38:41 AM

The second season of Diablo 4 is soon celebrating its first month of activity, and we now have more information on the effectiveness of each class through community feedback after 1.2.2. patch. In this D4 1.2.2 tier list, we’re ranking the best builds for each class after patch 1.2.2.

Diablo 4 1.2.2 Best Builds For Each Class - D4 1.2.2 Tier List & Ranking

Diablo 4 is known for its challenging and often punishing gameplay. A well-optimized build enhances your character's survivability by providing the right balance of defense, healing, and resistance in patch 1.2.2. This is particularly important when facing tough enemies, or bosses, or engaging in player versus player (PvP) combat. On our D4 1.2.2 class and build ranking, we have selected the best current builds that are capable of easily defeating Uber Lilith and completing a level 100 Nightmare Dungeon.

No. 1 Druid

Without further ado, let's start with our beloved class, the Druid, which we played in Season 1.

Pulverize Druid

The Pulverize Druid maintains its place in Tier S of Diablo 4 1.2.2 tier list, despite a modest start in Season of Blood. Its strengths lie in its simple gameplay and its main attack that packs a punch. However, its only drawback is a slightly lower single-target DPS compared to other builds in this tier.

Werewolf Tornado Druid

Next, we move on to one of our favorite builds across all classes, the Werewolf Tornado Druid. Visually striking, this specialization is a delight to play, with tornadoes sweeping across the screen to hunt down enemies without the need for precise targeting.

Twisting Blades Rogue

Now let's focus on the Rogue. The Twisting Blade is in our D4 Season 2 1.2.2 tier list because it excels in both single-target and multi-target situations, and it offers exceptional movement speed.

No. 2 Rogue

Barrage Rogue

We also have the Barage Druid for those who prefer a multi-shot style for the Rogue, providing mobility with celerity and shadow step, along with the Barrage that sends knives bouncing in all directions.

No. 3 Sorcerer

Moving on to another best class in Diablo IV 1.2.2.

Ball Lightning Sorcerer

The Sorcerer has been a big surprise in Season 2 with its terrifying Ball Lightning build. Although dependent on unique items, especially for end-game Tier S builds, the arrival of Uber bosses and their specific loot tables allows us to mitigate these dependencies. The gameplay takes a few seconds to set up the monster-shredding machine, making it less expedient than the Werewolf Druid. However, once the spheres are present in abundance, the damage per second becomes obscene.

Chain Lightning Sorcerer

For the second best D4 1.2.2 Sorcerer build, we present a chain lightning version, a variant of our Pikachu speed leveling build adapted for endgame. This style is similar to the Barrage, with the main skill targeting a single opponent and exploding into devastating fragments.

No.4 Barbarian

Now onto the outsider of Season 2, the Barbarian, which defied expectations.

Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian

We include the Hammer of the Ancients on this D4 Season 2 tier list 1.2.2, commonly known as HOTA, a legendary build present in previous seasons. While it requires more strategic fury management, the punches it delivers are simply spectacular.

Upheaval Barbarian

Additionally, we've seen an improved version of the Upheaval Barbarian build.

No.5 Necromancer

This is the community's choice for the D4 Season 2 best class, the Necromancer.

Bone Spear Necromancer

The standout build is the Bone Spear, expected to undergo significant changes in the 1.2.2 patch, but the effects weren't as pronounced as anticipated at the maximum level. This build is akin to the HotA but at a distance, with the main attack rendering monsters incapacitated on the return via a fragmentation effect.

Infinimist Necromancer

Our last Necromancer build is the Infinimist, which may seem dull at first glance but is surprisingly engaging in practice. The combination of melee area-of-effect spells and sustained damage through shadow forms makes it visually interesting. This build performs well in all game modes, and the frequent resets of the Blood Mist for invincibility make survival a non-issue.

This concludes our Diablo 4 patch 1.2.2 tier list for Season 2. We hope you enjoyed this format, and it inspires you to try different classes or gameplay styles. Feel free to buy D4 Gold if you need it, Aoeah.com is a professional D4 gold store online!
