  • Group Compatability: ★★★★★

  • Build Variety: ★★

  • PvP Potential: ★★★★

  • Difficulty:★★

Conclusions:

When it comes to solo play, you do have some great potential with the Barbarian overall, but it does require you to be talented into that specifically. In terms of raw activatable defensives, they do have iron skin which is one of the strongest in the game, but it requires you to spec into that taking up some valuable options. They do make up for it though with high movement speed and passive damage mitigation overall. Where the Barbarian truly earns its money is through group play, constant 4 second stuns the best group bulbs for your allies with shouts in the game and being a great class to soak up immense amount of damage makes them great in any team comp. When it comes to build variety, you generally only have a few play styles, but all in all there is nothing drastically different when it comes to each build's play style. In PvP, the Barbarian is 100% going to be a Powerhouse and a wrecking ball, no one can go toe-to-toe with this class if you're specked properly.

If you love being in the thick of it and swinging around massive weapons dealing nasty amounts of damage, it's no doubt that this best Diablo IV beginner class is going to be your main. Barbarians are powerful, mobile and tanky, but fight alone and have to be in close quarters and struggle with resource generation early on. They deal physical damage when melee attacks and fury is their primary resource and it also degenerates slowly and has to be earned in battle to unleash powerful attacks. With four weapons equipped at the same time, they have advantages from weapon swaps and additional legendary powers. Core skills deal massive damage at the cost of significant amount of Fury and Barbarians bring incredible utility from their shouts making them a strong choice for every group. The Arsenal system is the unique Barbarian class mechanic in Diablo 4 and it allows them to use a specific weapon for every attack skill that grants different bonuses.
