Diablo 4 Season 10: Theme, New Cosmetics, Items, Runes & Classes

8/11/2025 10:25:58 AM

Diablo IV’s Season 10: Season of Infernal Chaos is shaping up to be one of the most experimental yet, blending a throwback-inspired theme with meaningful gameplay updates and long-requested quality-of-life tweaks. Read this Diablo 4 Season 10 leaks, we'll break down the themes, Infernal Hordes, new items, cosmetics, runes, and classes.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Theme

Season 10’s main mechanic revolves around Chaos Powers, which seem inspired by an older Angelic/Demonic Power system Blizzard showed years ago. These powers could work like a “light vs. dark” stat system.  Angelic Power and Demonic Power stats on D4 items. Items may grant extra bonuses if you meet certain thresholds of these stats (similar to Diablo 3’s rune thresholds or tag requirements). Likely integrated into a new seasonal interface.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Infernal Hordes Update

The core seasonal gameplay is an updated Infernal Hordes mode. Features:

  • Old exclusive drops like Shard of Verthal and Crown of Lucion may return (with possible buffs).

  • Sparks (for Mythic crafting).

  • Runes (crafting mats for Mythics).

  • Perfect-rolled Aspects.

  • Gas currency for Masterworking/Tempering.

  • New enemy waves and new modifiers (possibly more difficulty-focused).

  • Potential new rewards:

  • Could allow Glyph XP upgrades directly in Infernal Hordes (not confirmed, but requested).

Blizzard may make the mods more punishing so it feels meaningfully harder than current Nightmare Dungeon escalations.

Diablo 4 Season 10 New Cosmetic

Season 10 will have a brand-new IP collab (similar to the previous Berserk collab). No IP confirmed yet.

Expect:

  • Premium shop skins.

  • Possibly unlockable cosmetics through gameplay (the creator hopes for this instead of just shop-exclusive items).

  • Community wants gameplay content tied to the collab — not just skins.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Unique Items

At least one new unique item per class expected.

Goal: enable new builds or revive weak ones.

The worry is Blizzard’s past “buffs” haven’t been big enough to make non-meta builds viable in high-end content.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Runes

Runes may become more accessible:

  • Reduced rune requirements for crafting.

  • More deterministic crafting (choosing the rune you want instead of random upgrades).

  • Current rune drop rates are too low for average players to craft Mythics without trading.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Rewards / Loot Changes

Suggestions (not confirmed, but hinted as possible dev changes): Better drop rates for rare boss loot (especially Andariel fight). Higher baseline Greater Affix rate in higher World Tiers (especially in WT4 or future WT5). More incentive to push Pit 100 instead of farming lower pits for efficiency. Reduce “garbage loot” fatigue — possibly with pet auto-salvage or loot filtering.

Confirmed NOT Coming in Diablo 4 Season 10

No new class.

No new expansion (both are planned for 2026).

No ranking system or leaderboards (also pushed to later date).

Tips & Tricks for Diablo 4 Season 10

Season 10 of Diablo IV is going to reward players who prepare with purpose, especially with the new Chaos Powers system that leans on Angelic and Demonic stat thresholds. The smartest move you can make before the season begins is to decide which side of that system you’ll commit to. Focusing on one alignment will help you reach the necessary bonuses faster, and keeping a few flexible “bridge” items in your stash will give you room to adjust if early drops push you in the opposite direction.

Material farming should be your next priority. Stockpiling high-end crafting mats such as Forgotten Souls, Veiled Crystals, and Baleful Fragments before the season launches will pay off immediately, especially if Blizzard follows through on making runes easier to craft and more deterministic. Sparks for Mythic crafting are worth gathering now, and if you can still run Infernal Hordes before the reset, they’re an excellent source of Gas for tempering and perfect-rolled Aspects you can stash for your Eternal realm collection.

Another way to set yourself up for success is to hold off on maxing your Glyphs until you know how Season 10’s Infernal Hordes update works. If Blizzard really does add Glyph XP upgrades to the mode, you could save hours of grinding by waiting to push those final levels in the new system rather than burning through Nightmare Dungeons now.

Going into the season, have your leveling path ready. Decide if you’re going to skip the campaign and rush straight to the endgame, or if you want to pace yourself and explore. If you choose the faster route, line up early Helltides and Legion Events, and make sure you have XP elixirs ready to go for launch day. Alongside that, keep a healthy gold reserve — somewhere in the range of 30 to 50 million if you can manage it — because rune crafting, tempering, and Mythic upgrades will all be heavy Diablo 4 gold.
