AION 2 Ludra Drops, Rewards, Titles, Events & Raid Walkthrough Guide

AION 2 Global players finally have a date for the biggest progression test yet. Sanctuary Raid: Ludra returns to Atreia on November 4, 2026, bringing a 10-player raid, two difficulty modes, exclusive regional titles, and almost two weeks of surrounding events. This AION 2 Ludra guide covers everything you need to prepare, every reward you can collect, and a full walkthrough of the fight itself.

AION 2 Global Ludra Guide (Drops, Rewards, Titles, Events & Raid)

Ludra is a Sanctuary Raid built for 10 players, split into two parties of five. The content was originally pulled from the Global launch because Early Access groups cleared it far earlier than NCsoft intended. Now it is coming back with new mechanics layered on top of the familiar structure. The raid features three bosses fought in order: Rahu, Ketu, and finally Ludra himself. Expect a weekly lockout system, limited revives inside the instance, and a strong Accuracy requirement that gatekeeps damage against the final boss.

With the general picture set, let's look at exactly when Ludra arrives and how the schedule plays out.

AION 2 Global Ludra Release Date & Event Schedule

Ludra returns on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, right after the weekly maintenance. Both Normal and Hard mode open on the same day, so there is no waiting week for Hard to go live.

Here is the full event calendar at a glance:

  • October 28 – November 10: Odyle Energy Boost (4x per account per day via mail)

  • November 4 (after maintenance) – November 17, 23:59 PST: Ludra Conquest Check-In, Twitch Drops, Daeva Bootcamp, Ludra Outfit Contest

  • November 4 – November 24 (before maintenance) PST: Ludra Hunt (title race)

  • By December 2, 23:59 PST: Ludra Hunt titles delivered to winners

The Halloween event also wraps up in the same November 4 maintenance window, so spend any Halloween coins beforehand. Server transfer windows close before the October 28 maintenance, which is worth noting if you plan to move characters.

Now that the timing is clear, here is what has actually changed about Ludra for the Global version.

Changes to Ludra in AION 2 Global

NCsoft officially stated that Ludra is coming back with new mechanics, but has not confirmed what those are yet. Here is what we know compared to the original Korean and Taiwanese version:

  • New Hard Mode: KR/TW only had one difficulty for Ludra. Global is getting both Normal (2,800 item level) and Hard (3,000 item level).

  • Group Size: Originally each sub-party fought separate waves of trash and then swapped bosses. That split path mechanic is gone. Both groups now fight both bosses at the same time.

  • Fifth Party Slot: The group was expanded to add a fifth person per party, bringing the total to 10.

  • Stat Reductions: Overall stats have been reduced across the board compared to KR/TW, meaning Accuracy and Crit cap expectations are lower.

  • Early Access Gear Returns: Players who earned Ludra gear during Early Access get it back on November 4, with upgrade materials refunded.

With the version differences out of the way, let's look at how the awakening part of the raid actually functions.

How Do Ludra Awakens Work in AION 2 Global

Ludra Awakens refers to the full return of the raid as the first major end-game progression target in the Global version. The system runs like this:

  • Weekly Lockout: You get one clear per week across all difficulties. You can attempt the fight as many times as you want, but once you clear, the ticket is consumed. Subscribers can double-claim the chest.

  • Life Mechanic: Each boss gives players a limited pool of revives. Resurrection Stones can be used to self-rez as long as you still have lives left.

  • Cube Energy Cost: Entering the raid costs cube energy, similar to the Taiwan version where it takes 80 energy per run.

  • Pity System: Just like other dungeons, Ludra has its own pity tickets, which can be spent to secure bracelets or morph weapons.

With the mechanics framework in place, the next step is seeing what you actually walk away with after a clear.

AION 2 Ludra Drops - Normal & Hard Ludra Loot Table

The main reason to run Ludra is the abyssal bracelet, a raid-specific piece of equipment that cannot be obtained anywhere else. Unlike the MSQ bracelet, this one can be amplified for huge boosts to combat speed, cooldown reduction, attack, and double chance.

Ludra Normal Mode Drops (2,800 Item Level)

  • Item level 102 gear pieces (with reduced drop rate compared to Hard)

  • No weapons in the loot pool (based on the Taiwan structure)

  • Abyssal bracelets with a longer pity timer (around 4 to 6 weeks)

  • Crafting materials and consumables

  • Standard dungeon drops

Ludra Hard Mode Drops (3,000 Item Level)

  • Item level 102 gear with full drop rates

  • Weapons included in the loot pool (around 10% chance, split across all classes)

  • Abyssal bracelets with pity achievable in 2 to 3 weeks

  • Pity tickets (two tickets allow you to morph a weapon into your class weapon)

  • Higher-quality crafting materials

  • Rare drops like Theostones and consumables

Based on comparisons with Taiwan, Normal mode drops roughly half the loot rate of Hard mode and takes about twice as long to hit pity on bracelets. If you can push to 3,000 item level, Hard mode is the better long-term option.

Beyond the gear, Ludra also hands out some of the rarest cosmetic status rewards in the game: regional titles.

AION 2 Ludra Titles

The Ludra Hunt event runs from November 4 to November 24 (PST), with each region racing separately: Europe, NA East, NA West, South America, and Asia. Here are the four titles up for grabs:

RankEligible PlayersTitle
Rank 110 players per region (1st Hard mode clear party)The First to Slay Ludra
Rank 240 players per region (2nd to 5th Hard mode parties)Ludra's Conqueror
Rank 3150 players per region (6th to 20th Hard mode parties)Ludra's Vanquisher
UniversalAll other players who clear Normal or HardLudra's Nemesis

Titles for Rank 1 through Rank 3 come with a purple decorative effect. Titles are only awarded if the clear happens inside the event window and will be sent no later than December 2 at 23:59 PST. The first clears also get memorialized in the in-game Hall of Fame.

With rewards and titles mapped out, it's time to walk through how to actually prepare and clear the raid.

AION 2 Ludra Walkthrough Guide (Preparation, Events, Raid)

1. How To Prepare for Ludra in AION 2 Global?

Hitting the item level number is only part of the job. You also need the right stats, the right consumables, and the right group.

Reaching 2,800 Item Level (Normal Mode)

The game guides you into it naturally. Here is the path:

  • Finish the 2,100 three-star dungeon Goolag, which puts you around 2,500 with 7 to 8 pieces of item level 86 gear

  • Upgrade everything to +10 with superior mana stones to reach 2,500

  • Enter Transcendence Dungeon Stage 4 and farm gold cards (adds about +120 item level)

  • Push into Hard mode dungeons at 2,620+ item level

  • Farm the Aerial Board in Hard dungeons, converting 100 dungeon fragments into 1 Aerial Crystal (120 total item level available across 4 dungeons)

  • Craft one piece of equipment or roll a lucky drop to push past 2,800

Reaching 3,000 Item Level (Hard Mode)

From 2,740 after the Aerial Board, you need a full set of item level 86 gear at amplification level 2 on average. Each M2 upgrade costs around 15 million Kinah when enhancing from +10. An ebony weapon alone can add about 16 item level. You can also buy aspel tiles with Abyss Points to cover gaps.

Accuracy & Crit Caps

This is the part most players forget. Each boss has a block value and crit resistance value. If you are under cap, your damage gets parried and halved, and you cannot crit. Here are the expected caps based on comparisons with Taiwan and Korea:

  • Normal Mode: ~900 Accuracy, ~800 Crit

  • Hard Mode: ~1,200 Accuracy, ~1,100 Crit

Main sources for Accuracy and Crit:

  • Pet Genus slots 3, 6, 7, and 9: roll Accuracy and Crit (not power shell damage bonus, which is bait)

  • Weapon Soul Binds: Precision increases Crit and Accuracy by a percent value based on the raw stat shown in your profile

  • Food: Standard raid food adds 100 Accuracy

  • Class Buffs: Templar's Punishment, support Mantra, and others stack on top

Consumables Checklist

  • Blue scrolls (stat buffs for fresh raid attempts)

  • Battle Enhance Scrolls (damage + tolerance boost, great for progression)

  • Resurrection Stones (two lives per boss, these drain fast on prog runs)

  • Food with Accuracy, Stamina, and Stamina Regen

  • Avoid NPC consumables, nobody wants them in the party

Group Finder Expectations

  • Normal Mode: Groups likely recruit at 170k+ Combat Power

  • Hard Mode: Groups likely recruit at 210k to 220k Combat Power

With your character prepped, the surrounding events give you free resources to push over the finish line.

With all the prep events running, the main event is the raid itself.

3. AION 2 Ludra Raid – Bosses & How To Flight?

  • Players: 10 (two parties of five)

  • Lockout: Weekly reset on Wednesdays

  • Entry Cost: Cube energy (approx. 80 per run based on Taiwan)

  • Revives: Limited lives per boss, Resurrection Stones can self-rez while lives remain

  • Bosses in order: Rahu, Ketu, Ludra

Boss 1 & 2: Rahu and Ketu (Mini Bosses)

Both groups fight both bosses simultaneously (changed from the original split-path version). Expected mechanics based on Korea plus Hard mode predictions:

  • Rahu: Juggle circles around the arena. On Hard, expect two circles instead of one, and the final line-aim-trash-mob mechanic is likely more punitive.

  • Ketu: Spawns crystals around the arena edges. Breaking them makes you invulnerable for 4 seconds while the boss AoEs the room. On Normal this was famously cheesed by having only the Cleric survive. Hard mode will likely add a body check or stack marker requiring the full group alive at the end.

Boss 3: Ludra

Ludra has two phases:

  • Phase 1: Big-body boss in open arena. You can attack from behind, so Accuracy requirements are lighter here.

  • Phase 2: Wall boss hanging off the ledge. Only front attacks work, meaning you must hit your Accuracy cap for two-thirds of the fight to deal damage.

Known mechanics include a Bingo Board (positional grid mechanic) and a colored tether mechanic at the end of the fight. Expected Hard mode additions:

  • Calick Ring during the Bingo Board (prevents players from standing too close)

  • Stacks and spreads during the Bingo Board

  • Colored stacks or towers during the tether phase that require specific color players

Walkthrough Tips

  1. Open with battle scrolls on prog runs for the damage and tolerance boost

  2. Don't waste Cleric Summon Resurrection on bad plays, it drops too much DPS and support when the Cleric only has four stigma slots in Season 1

  3. Save your self-rez stones for key mechanics, not for careless deaths to ground AoEs

  4. Confirm your Accuracy cap before Phase 2 of Ludra, as parry damage reduction will kill your DPS check

  5. Phase 1 of Ludra is your back-attack window, use it to burst with any crit-sensitive skills

Finally, there are still some open questions about Ludra that players are asking.

More FAQs About AION 2 Ludra Awakens

Does Normal Mode drop item level 102 weapons?

Based on the Taiwan structure, Normal mode does not drop weapons in the main loot pool. Weapons are locked behind Hard mode. Normal still drops gear pieces and gives bracelet pity progress at a slower rate.

Do Normal and Hard mode share a weekly lockout?

Yes. One clear per week consumes your ticket across all difficulties. You can attempt as many times as you want before clearing, but after the first clear the chest is gone for the week.

Can I use Resurrection Stones inside Ludra?

Yes, as long as you still have lives on your character for that boss. This is different from the original Korean version, where only Cleric Summon Resurrection worked. Lives are limited per boss, so plan accordingly.

Will my current gear become obsolete in Season 2?

Season 2 is expected around December 16 in Global based on KR/TW patterns. KR did not do a full vertical reset, you keep your enhancements and soul binds and transfer them to new gear. Your +17 investments should carry forward.

How do I get the Ludra Hunter title?

Just clear Ludra on either Normal or Hard mode once before the November 24 (PST) maintenance. It is the universal title given to everyone who completes the fight during the event window.

Can my alts collect the Odyle Energy Boost?

The event is one delivery per account per day (updated from the original per-character announcement on October 27), giving 4x Odyle Energy per account daily via mail.

What happens to my Early Access Ludra gear?

NCsoft is returning it on November 4, with all upgrade materials refunded. The exact delivery time within maintenance has not been confirmed.

Is normal mode worth running if I can't reach Hard mode?

Yes. You still get bracelet pity progress (at a slower rate), gear drops, crafting materials, consumables, and the Ludra's Nemesis title. It is also valuable raid practice for when you do reach 3,000 item level.

Do I need a specific class composition?

Clerics are highly valued because they provide Summon Resurrection, group support, and heals. Taiwan groups sometimes skip tanks entirely because of high gear scores, but Global at 2,800 to 3,000 will likely need at least one tank per party. Expect 2 tanks, 2 to 3 healers, and 5 to 6 DPS as the standard 10-player split.

When is the maintenance window on November 4?

NCsoft has not published the exact maintenance times yet. The event scheduling begins at 06:00 PST on November 4, which is a reasonable window to expect doors to open.

With just over a week until Ludra returns, now is the time to push gear, lock in Accuracy, stock up on consumables, and line up a group. Good luck, Daevas, and may your bracelet pity hit fast.
