Pro Clubs has moved into The Grounds in FC 27, the new social football hub where you join friends, play small-sided matches and build your Virtual Pro. If you want to make a strong, well-rounded player, understanding Attribute Points is essential. These points decide how you upgrade your Virtual Pro’s stats, and the system has clear rules for point gains, upgrade costs and level caps. This guide breaks down how FC 27 Attribute Points work, how many points you get at each stage, and what you need to do to hit the current level cap.
FC 27 Pro Clubs Attribute Points Cost Per Level & Max Level
Attribute Points (AP) are the currency you spend to raise your Virtual Pro’s in-game attributes. Every level you earn unlocks more AP, and these points are separate from other stat boosts you can collect.
A key detail is that attribute upgrades do not cost a fixed number of AP. The higher a stat already is, the more expensive each further increase becomes. Each archetype sorts every attribute into one of four price groups: Cheap, Low, Standard and Expensive. For example, Finishing sits in the Expensive band for nearly all archetypes, while Dribbling counts as Cheap for a Finisher build. There is no special discount for Key Attributes anymore.
You should also separate raw stats from active boosts when building your player. Raw stats are the values you buy directly with Attribute Points. Active boosts come from three separate sources: your body type (height and weight), mastery rewards, and club facility upgrades. Play Style unlocks only check your raw stats, not the boosted final number. This means you cannot rely on facility or mastery bonuses to hit the stat threshold for a Play Style.
You can push your final boosted stat above the raw cap. For instance, if your raw acceleration cap is 95, adding boosts can take the total value up to 99. This is a useful trick for planning efficient builds, as you may not need to max out the raw value if your bonuses cover the rest.
Your total AP grows as you level up, and milestone levels (every 5th level, marked with a dot) give a larger bonus on top of regular AP rewards. The highlighted levels in this table have been read directly in-game, and the rest align with a second trusted FC 27 build calculator.

At launch, the hard cap was level 40 with 962 total AP. EA has raised Pro Clubs level caps via live updates in previous FC titles, so this limit was not permanent. A later season update added 15 new levels, pushing the cap to level 55. From level 40 to level 55, players earn an extra 457 Attribute Points.
AP distribution changes as you climb. Early regular levels give 9 or 10 AP each, levels in the teens award 13, then later standard levels jump to 19 and finally 25 AP. The big milestone payouts sit at level 10 (38 AP), level 20 (44 AP), level 30 (63 AP) and level 40 (50 AP). More than half of your total AP unlocks after level 20, so builds that feel limited at low levels will fill out quickly once you progress further.
How to Reach Max Level in FC 27 Pro Clubs
Pro Clubs no longer lives on the main menu. You first enter The Grounds, complete the opening tutorial, then open the menu to join or create a club. To start matches, travel to the Clubhouse area inside The Grounds and interact with its doors to open the Pro Clubs lobby. You can drop into ongoing matches to fill empty AI slots, but you cannot replace another human player.
All XP for your Virtual Pro comes from activities inside The Grounds. This includes full Pro Clubs matches, small-sided games and other playable events in the zone. There are no secret shortcuts that ignore the XP system, though you can speed up progress with XP boosters from the in-game store. These boosters use in-game coins instead of real money and multiply XP earned per match.
When planning your level grind, remember that level 55 is the current end point. This milestone unlocks important rewards beyond extra AP: your fourth regular Play Style slot, a second Play Style+ and a new mastery bonus. Masteries add permanent stat bonuses and apply across all your archetypes, so they are valuable even if you switch builds later.
Extra Useful Tips for Your AP Build
Use the build calculator before spendingResets are free in FC 27, but you still need to earn AP before you can spend it. A builder tool lets you test different stat spreads and see what your raw stats will look like at any level, so you do not waste points on a build that fails to unlock your target Play Styles.
Masteries and Play Style+ can be swappedAt level 55 you get new mastery perks and a second Play Style+. Many of these Play Style+ options are the same from earlier FC games, but you can replace any of them with a specialization or another Play Style that fits your playstyle.
Plan for the stat cost curveRaising stats from the high 80s and 90s gets extremely expensive. It is often smarter to stop your raw stat just before the highest cost bracket and use club facility or mastery boosts to reach the final number you want. This saves large amounts of AP for other attributes.
Watch for future cap increasesSince EA has raised the level cap in past seasons, the level 55 limit may not stay forever. If a new live update adds more levels, the total AP pool and milestone rewards will change accordingly.
