Conquest of Azeroth Class Tier List - Ranking Best Classes for WOW Ascension

July 13, 2026 WoW Classic Guides

Unlike retail WoW, Conquest of Azeroth's classes were built specifically for the project rather than being reworks of existing archetypes. In this Conquest of Azeroth class tier list, we rank the best COA classes based on overall versatility, performance, utility, and popularity across leveling, PvE, Mythic content, and PvP.

Conquest of Azeroth Class Tier List

Choosing your first class in Ascension CoA class tier list can be overwhelming. Unlike traditional World of Warcraft servers, Ascension's Conquest of Azeroth features 21 completely unique classes, each with its own fantasy, mechanics, strengths, and playstyle. Whether you enjoy commanding undead armies, casting devastating spells, tanking massive bosses, supporting allies, or dominating PvP, there is a class designed for you.

What are Conquest of Azeroth Classes

Conquest of Azeroth (CoA) completely replaces WoW's traditional classes with 21 original classes inspired by Warcraft lore. Instead of Warriors, Mages, or Paladins, every class is brand-new with unique resources, talent trees, abilities, and 3-4 specializations (69 specs total). The goal is to create fresh class fantasies while still feeling like Warcraft.  Here's a breakdown of every class, its role, playstyle, strengths, and who it's best for.
