A Fowl Beast Rises is a limited-time April Fools-style event in Diablo 4, where a gigantic, apocalyptic chicken-like world boss (“the Foul Beast”/Chon) periodically appears across the map; the dramatic language—describing it as mountain-sized, endlessly rampaging, and impossible to stop—is intentionally exaggerated for humor, while clues like “re-appear every few hours” confirm it functions like a timed world boss, and the warning “no spoils… only swift death” is flavor text meant to sell the joke rather than reflect actual gameplay, since the event does drop unique, chicken-themed gear and cosmetics—so overall, the passage is Blizzard leaning into absurd, mock-epic storytelling to introduce a chaotic but real boss encounter that mixes parody, hidden mechanics, and limited-time rewards.

Chi'Khan Chon is essentially a reskinned + gimmick-heavy world boss, not a pinnacle challenge. Same spawn system as regular world bosses. Large hitbox, arena-style fight. Designed for group chaos + humor, not tight mechanics. Expect difficulty similar to Ashava/Avarice tier — not Torment-level threats

There are also free things to claim in your shop. It's a little icon, as well as a name card template, and cosmetic skins you can acquire. 

Cluckeye 

This is actually a Diablo 3 item put into Diablo 4. It shoots out a chicken, which then does some damage. It's a bow that has 100% critical strike damage. We have dexterity, max life, and it also rolled as bloodied. So, this thing can definitely roll and be different. We actually have a chance for it to daz. And then there's also a chance to cluck thrice. However, this could be just a fun Diablo 4 item. 

Cluckonomicon

Cluckonomicon is a staff that got some damage. Then we have attacks per second at one. We also have life on hit. We have a shrine buff duration, which might be interesting. We don't know if you can really make a shrine build, but this is a stat that is rare. Maybe we can get this as a greater aics and then masterwork it and try to perma shrine. We also have a bunch of intelligence. And then we have the pickup radius. This is a brand new stat. This could be some sort of reveal for the next expansion because we don't have a pickup radius, which should mean that it picks up your Diablo 4 gold.

Eggcecutioner

This is a scythe where you have life on kill, essence on kill, and you have damage for 4 seconds after killing the elite. This one is greater aics. Maybe you can get this masterwork. But as much as you can get this to a decent number, keep in mind you're missing out on two-handed aspect. Then we have some movement speed after killing the elite. Slain enemies have a chance to lay an egg. 

Coop De Crace

It's a polearm that has a critical strike chance against injured enemies. We also have 300% damage to injured enemies. It's a pretty decent number. We also have a lucky hit up to a 15% is the max roll to execute injured non- elites. What's interesting is that it has damage to poultry. If this means that there's going to be a chicken level also coming out in the game. Then there's a special luck. It says damage to an injured enemy has a chance to spawn. It looks like there's a 15% chance of spawning a flock of explosive chickens. There is also an explosive chicken build in Diablo II. So, does this maybe give us a hint that the witch doctor explodes?
