Diablo 4 Season 11 Class Changes (Buffs and Nerfs)
Spiritborn: The Spiritborn received significant buffs to their Rushing Claw damage and changes to the Adaptable Concussive Stomp now blocking instead of dodging attacks. Vigor consumption for Poised Payback was capped at 500. The Potent passive was reworked to boost Jaguar Skill attack speed and cooldown reduction rather than increasing damage taken by enemies. Several unique items were adjusted to improve Poisoning effects duration, cooldown reductions, and damage bonuses tied to Ferocity stacks. Many damage reduction affixes on items were replaced with Dexterity or Armor. Spirit Hall potency affixes were standardized to boost Spirit Hall Damage, and Jaguar skills now unleash Beast Strike with stacking damage bonuses. Other Spirit Hall skills and legendary nodes were adjusted for better scaling and clarity.
Barbarian: Barbarians saw a mix of damage increases and fortify reductions. Kick and Mighty Kick damage were nearly doubled, and Leap now scales with attack speed. Iron Skin was changed to boost maximum life by 30% and increase barrier absorption to 80%. Call of the Ancients duration was extended, and Iron Maelstrom damage was roughly doubled. Fortify values on several enhanced skills and passives were reduced significantly, including on Enhanced Bash, Strategic Iron Skin, and War Cry variants. Legendary aspects were adjusted to provide fortify scaling based on max life instead of flat values. Some unique items and paragon nodes had their cooldowns and fury restoration tweaked for better balance.
Druid: Druids experienced widespread fortify reductions across many skills such as Grizzly Rage, Maul, Roar, and various earth and wolf pack abilities. Grizzly Rage was reworked to remove stacking duration and cooldown until completion, with damage increased instead. Passives were tuned to improve lightning strike interactions, and spirit restoration was reduced from full to partial restores. Fortify bonuses on passives and unique items were drastically lowered, while some passive effects were rebalanced to scale better when fortified. Many legendary aspects had their ranks increased and fortify effects adjusted to percent max life rather than flat values.
Necromancer: Necromancers had faster Golem respawn and improved targeting mechanics, with increased duration of Golem's unstoppable state. Corpse Explosion and Blighted Corpse Explosion damage were increased, but Bone Spirit’s essence consumption was capped. Passives such as Kalan’s Edict received large buffs to minion attack speed and damage, while fortify values on skills and passives were heavily nerfed. Legendary aspects were adjusted for better scaling and ranks increased. Unique items had fortify and damage reduction affixes replaced with intelligence or life-based stats, and some inherent affixes were removed for better balance.
Rogue: Rogues' Inner Sight was changed to restore energy and provide energy cost reduction along with critical strike bonuses. Shadow Clone targeting was improved for consistency. Several unique items lost damage reduction from trapped enemies in favor of Dexterity, and energy consumption caps were set on some gear. Paragon nodes were buffed to increase damage against injured enemies. The Deadly Ambush paragon node now boosts both critical strike damage and damage over time for trapped enemies.
Sorcerer: Sorcerers received major damage buffs to Teleport and adjustments to its mechanics, including generating Crackling Energy charges and adding a daze effect. Frozen Orb’s chill was reduced, but explosion damage increased, with mana restoration improved on Shimmering Frost Nova. Primordial Binding passive was simplified to give higher summon damage bonuses. Several legendary aspects were reworked, including turning an offensive aspect into a defensive heal and armor boost, increasing movement speed bonuses, and enhancing Ice Armor’s survivability. Unique items had affix changes focusing on intelligence and cooldown reduction, with some inherent resistances adjusted or removed. Enchantments were also rebalanced to improve usability and synergy with summons.
