Diablo 4 Season 3 & Expansion Leaks: Release Date, Classes, Raids, Rewards & Mercenaries

Diablo fans, get ready for some exciting news! It seems that the first expansion for Diablo 4 has potentially been leaked with a ton of very interesting information. It seems that there are multiple different leaks all with a little bit of differing information but all of them are sharing a bunch of the bigger bullet points of what we could be expecting in the first expansion for Diablo 4 and even getting some additional information for Season 3. D4 Season 3 Release Date Leaks: New Expansion, Classes, Raids, Rewards & Mercenaries 

It seems most of this information comes from one of two different places. One is a group of people who were able to obtain some files from Steam DB that show some possible information we could be getting in the first expansion. The second seems to come from a group of people that were able to download some test build of Diablo 4 where they weren't able to play but they were able to get some additional information for the future expansion and potentially even season 3.

A substantial leak suggests that Diablo 4 Season 3, named "Dreamscape," is poised to bring a slew of new features and content to the game. While leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, the credibility of this one appears higher due to the presence of actual data file names. As we await the official announcement at BlizzCon, let's delve into the tantalizing details this leak has to offer.

D4 Season 3 & Expansion Release Date

BlizzCon is coming at the end of the week, and Season 3 is coming in the immediate future and that should be launching sometime in January. Therefore, the D4 Season 3 release date is expected to start in January 2024, based on the fact that each season lasts around three months. Is this expansion pack coming out in season 3? We don't have the exact information about this.

D4 New Expansion Locations

This vast land: Nahantu, similar in size to the other five zones, is teeming with untamed wilderness and ancient secrets waiting to be discovered. Nahantu is a land of contrasts, from the Restless Canopy's verdant foliage to the barren expanse of the Teganze Plateau. It is home to the Field of Giants, a place of lingering hatred, and the dark depths of the Kurast Sewers. The zone comes with new quests that will take players on a journey through Nahantu's many dungeons. Raid

The campaign will lead players through the Durance of Hate, to the Gates of the Necropolis, into the ethereal Spirit Realm, and finally to the Five Hills - the tomb of Akarat. Each step of this journey will reveal more about Nahantu's history and its connection to the Spiritborn. The pinnacle of Nahantu's challenges is a new raid centered around Khazra. With five wings to conquer, this raid will push even the most seasoned adventurers to their limits.

D4 Season 3 Classes

f the leak holds, Diablo 4 Season 3 will introduce a brand new class called the "Spiritborn." These characters will harness the power of nature, expanding the class options for players and adding depth to gameplay.

The release of the Spiritborn class opens up a whole new way to experience Diablo 4. Their unique abilities and playstyle offer fresh strategies for tackling Nahantu's challenges. Whether you're navigating through the Restless Canopy or battling in the depths of Kurast Sewers, playing as a Spiritborn In Nahantu promises an adventure like no other.

The Spiritborn is a class deeply rooted in the elements of nature and the spiritual realm. They are the children of the wild, born from the spirit of the plains, sky, soll, and forest. Their souls are Intertwined with the world around them, drawing strength from the very essence of life and nature. Their weapon of choice is the glaive, a symbol of their connection to both the physical and spiritual realms. The glaive is more than just a weapon etc. It  Is a Spiritborn; an extension of their spirit, a conduit through which they channel their power.

The Spiritborn's power comes from two resources: Vigor and Allegiance. Vigor represents their physical vitality and endurance, gained from the bond with the earth and sky. It fuels their physical abilities and allows them to perform feats of agility and strength beyond normal capabilities. Allegiance, on the other hand, represents their spiritual connection to nature and its creatures. It Is through Allegiance that they can call upon the spirits of nature for aid,  summoning ethereal allies or invoking  powerful  elemental spells

D4 Season 3 Rewards

In the realm of rewards, Season 3 is expected to bring new items to the in-game store. Most notably, a "riding cat" is mentioned in the leak, sparking curiosity about this unique mount. Could it be a panther cat? We'll have to wait for official confirmation to find out.

D4 Season 3 Mercenaries

One exciting addition mentioned in the leak is the introduction of mercenaries in Diablo 4 Season 3. Players will have the opportunity to recruit and customize mercenaries with unique names, including Berserker Crone, Bounty Hunter, Cursed Child, Maiden Mongrel, Scholar, and Shield Bearer. These mercenaries will come equipped with their entire inventory, allowing players to manage their equipment and bolster their gameplay experience.
