Flightstones are an exclusive currency to Dragonflight Season 2 and used to upgrade PvE gear, you can earn Flightstones through pretty much any content in patch 10.1 including, quests, world quests, treasures, rares as well as current season raids, and Mythic plus dungeons, you can also farm a good amount of Flightstones through the new Niffen and renowned faction and their related quest lines. One character will be able to hold 2,000 Flightstones at once during Season 2, but there's no limit to how many you can earn and spend in one week, so if you farm 2000 in one week, you could then spend some to bring your total down and still be able to farm some more until you hit your 2000 cap and repeat this process since flight stones are rewarded from almost all types of endgame content.

What gear pieces can be upgraded with Flightstones? you can only use them to upgrade PvE gear in WoW Dragonflight 10.1 Season 2. When upgrading from Rank 1, you need to cost 13, 26, 39, 59, 79, 99, and 119 Flightstones for 8 upgrade levels.
