D2R 2.7 Nova Sorc Build - Best Level 99 Sorceress Build Guide in Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 4
Nova Sorceress is one of the best Sorceress builds in Diablo 2 Resurrected, with it, you don’t need to scare off anything. In addition, because of the changes to the latest patch and Ladder season, Nova has a Next Hit Delay of 4, which prevents Nova Skill from hitting an entity every frame the Nova missiles pass through it. 1. Stats
For this Nova Sorceress build in Diablo 2 Resurrected 2.7, we only have a low strength and it is not worth putting lots of points to wear a Spirit. Overall, nothing into strength, dexterity, and vitality, but everything into energy.

2. Skill Tree
The lightning tree is what we are going to focus on here. You just need to put one point into Frozen Armor in terms of cold spells, then max out Static Field, Nova, Lightning Mastery, Telekinesis, and Energy Shield, one point into Thunder Storm, and the rest into Warmth. When you are fighting against a lot of souls, semi-Energy Shield actually works better, but for pretty much every other situation, max Energy Shield is recommended.

3. Gear
Starting with the weapon, Infinity gives -49% to enemy lightning resistance, it is enough, you don’t need a perfect one. It also provides a 30% better chance of getting magic items, +49 to vitality, +40% chance of crushing blow, etc. Griffon’s Eye is a good pick for the helmet, it has -23% to enemy lightning resistance and +17% to lightning skill damage. Then you can go with an SOJ and an FCR magic ring in Diablo 2 Resurrected with some resistances, as well as crafted caster boots and the following D2R charms, including 2 lightning skillers with life, 5 lightning skillers with faster hit recovery, more charms with life, all resistances, and mana, Hellfire Torch, Annihilus, and Lightning Sunder charm.

4. Mercenary
This is an active Prayer mercenary using Insight and level 17 Meditation aura, the best-in-slot helm is Cure because of the Cleansing aura, then Chains of Honor, which pairs with it, his Prayer mark with Meditation and Cleansing, it triples the health regen from Prayer and even with level 1 Cleansing, it will greatly reduce Poison and Curse duration. This is not the strongest mercenary setup, you don’t have the enhanced damage and max lightning resist, but for your energy shield Nova Sorceress, you don’t need to rely on your mercenary to skill anything, you got Lightning Sunder and Infinity.
