POE Vaal Temple Map Farming Guide: Harvest Juices, Price of Protection, Opened Vessels, Interesting Drops and Tips

Here is a recording of harvest juices, price of protection, opened vessels, and interesting drops of 50 maps we decided to record. Didn't do more, mainly since it's too much effort.

Interesting Drops & Notes:

Dry Sea: cortex. 

Peninsula: 1d from random mob.

Carcass: We've encountered grove at the first screen, so proceeded and done it before altars to avoid running back whole map.

Academy: 1ex.

Bazaar: Namharin dropped blossom[110c at the time].

Colommade: 1d from vessel.

Orchard: starting 132 IIQ, probably the lowest we encountered in the whole journey, with among the highest opened chests, total maps found 37 o.o.

Orchard O.o': 96% less recovery = BRICK !!!

Academy: unid super rippy map, did grove which was like 2 screens away from start, 2 chest until then to realize 5 deaths is enough[2 out of 3 at grove done].

Cold River: actualyl was a 96% less recovery map, but when a map is on the lowend of dmg, we run those, it's slower but not too bad.

Lookout: NO REGEN = BRICK !!!

Mesa: 2 Tainted Ex ; 84% inc pack size + beyound 25% inc from sextant is serius AF.

Dungeon: WHY IS IT STILL A THING FOR MOBS FROM BOXES TO APPEAR BEHIND WALLS F*KING 9 YEARS AFTER AMBUSH LEAGUE 1@??$!@?%!?%.

Overgrown Ruin: Namharim.

Overgrown Ruin o.O': Up until here whole league I ran with Eater of worlds[total vaal temples done = somewhere around 150-170 maps [recording only the last 30 to this point], from here on, switched to Exarch.

Cemetery: 99% pack size ....96% less recovery = BRICK !!!

Foundry: 1d from harvest plot ; sold 4d jewel dropped in the past 3-4 maps.

Mineral Pools: 6% energy from within[sold almost instantly for 7d].

Dry Sea: 106% pack size ....96% less recovery = BRICK !!!

Cold River: 96% less recovery = BRICK !!!

Arsenal: 0 altars.

Estuary: 96% less recovery = BRICK !!!

Burial Chambers: sacred grove was at the very start of the map, and also had deli mirror, so after killing some around, did grove to avoid running back whole map.

Mineral Pools: boss was undoable.

Method for Vaal Temple Map Farming

-4 gilded scarabs, 6c each on average, around 8-10c map cost, 4 sextants[~16-20c] = 1 map costs around 50-55c.                                                 

-# of vessels opened was counted as the extra openes, considering we opened all 16 each map [unless stated otherwise]. Highly doubt we missed, but everything can happen.       

-Always keep sacred grove for after map finish for higher chance for IIQ/IIR from altars. We didn't go tryharding running whole maps for bosses, then map, then grove, did it where was possible, but no tryharding on that part.

-140% inc. Aoe affects "revives monsters", goes to 2 screens away.                                         

-Sold around 600 T15/16 maps total, lowest is probably 5c, so at least 3k chaos here, all in bulks of at least 50-60.                                                

-All corrupted essences were sold for 24-32c depends on type and amounts.

-Juice was sold at stacks of 2div worth at least - not overpricing those get almost intant sell.

-Maps were bought in bulks, best trade was 75 maps for 6c ea. worst is 15 for 1div, rest was somewhere in between.                               

-The sextant: "Maps contain +2boxes, boxes are Corrupted, boxes at least Rare" makes all vessels to be unid for some reason.                                                   

-Harvest was no brainer. Yellow is 1st priority, otherwise highest numbers.

-if you want extra step for gaining maps, but possibly pay less -- Primal Rhex Matriarch goes for 5-10c on Tft, and there is comparably low supply.                                      

-Sextant were rolled for extra packs or not barrels / missions, we didn't want to invest into buying good stuff, since as you can see, maps were getting bricked constantly, and it simply adds to lost C, and doesn't help with bricked maps.                                       

-All alvas,juns, syndicates, abysses, normal boxes[but div cards and arcanist], expeditions,  metamorphs, breaches[all but chalupas], legions, rituals were skipped.                                             

-Couldn't skip sis cassia<3.                                          

-Wanted to write down that vessels can appear anywhere and do not follow the usual rules for content appearing, but it took 42 maps to have a proff.                                                     

-Don't forget to go back to sacerd grove after finishing map XD.                                                

-At the very start we didn't run gilded scarabs, but w/e we had, later on we started to buy in bulks.                                               

-Shitfuckton of 1/23% and 21/0% gems, most were vendored 'cause value was low, some 21 auras were sold good[hatred is the star here].

-The amount of loot dropped even with uber strict filter is ennormous, at first we're picking everything it was showing, but later on [after filling about 10-14 tabs with double corrupts and "interesting" implicits] , we started to pick only what we thought some1 would buy which is a huge difference between how much you price shit with awakened poe currency.
