Which All-Star Showcase Cards Are Worth Getting in NBA 2K23

Let’s go over all of the All-Star showcase cards in NBA 2K23 MyTeam and which of these are worth using. So we're going to be seeing 2 pink diamonds in the select and one of these is going to be obviously a locker code.

Eric Bledsoe - 84 - PG/SG

He’s got 24 gold badges, really good defense, really solid three point, really good driving dunk, this card could be really solid. He's got normal dribble style and he's got Bledsoe on lower base, slow release timing, so he can't do anything, he can't dribble, he can't really burst. As we know in 2K with NBA 2K22 especially 2K23, animations mean everything, so a character like Bledsoe who is actually forced here got exceptionally good stats and badges is a trash card.

Brent Barry - 84 - SF/SG

6’7’’ height, 6’9’’ wingspan, not a good defender at all, he doesn't even get good shooting badges. Release is not great, Jordan dribble style, Brent Barry used to be that guy back in the day, he really did back in the 2K18 days, but a even with lowered tier Brent Barry, 2K used to be able to make them usable before badges took over because even if there were no badges in this game or there wasn't as many badges in these games, the card would still be kind of usable because he can dunk and he can shoot, but not in today's game unfortunately. He's not going to do anything in today's game.

Craig Hodges - 85 - SG/PG

He has 95 shot 3 pt, 95 hustle, great 95 offensive, hot zones are everywhere, Ed Davis is an awful base, the default small upper release is awful. Craig Hodges is one of the greatest shooters of all time and as usual in NBA 2K, he can shoot.

Trey Burke - 85 - PG/SG

He’s got Trey Burke lower base, normal release timing, Trey Young dribble style, he's not going to really shoot the ball that well, he's not going to play defense, he's not going to dunk. Trey Burke sucks.

Hubert Davis - 85 - SG/SF

One of the best shooters of all time with 93 shot 3pt, 95 offensive, 92 stamina. He's got Josh Christopher release, he can't dribble at all, can't really play defense, not the worst defender in the world, it is a good release as far as sapphires go. He's all right, he's like a worse version of last year's Troy Daniels, he's not the worst shooting sapphire in the world.

Steve Novak - 85 - PF/SF

This card's not the worst either, Rodney McGruder release is okay like Cedric Ceballos has it, it's not a great release, but it's not a bad release. His upper is Jason Preston, and that's Tyrek Evans upper. He’s not the worst. He’s got 95 shot 3pt, 95 stamina, 98 offensive and 95 hustle. He's a fine Sapphire power forward of this all star showcase event.

Charles Oakley - 85 - PF/C

His athleticlsm isn't very good and this card is worse at literally everything. They will not give him a release timing on normal.

Kenny Walker - 86 - SF/PF

90 speed, 90 acceleration, can't shoot, that's a little bit frustrating. Back in NBA 2K20, we already have an 85 Kenny Walker and we have an 86 Kenny Walker.

Tim Legler - 86 - SG/PG

He sucks, Klay Thompson lower base, normal release timing with no defense.

Earl Boykins - 93 - PG/SG

He’s 5’5’’, they couldn't have just made him a god, they couldn't have just given him a good release on very quick. They couldn't have just made him an absolute God like he's probably the best miniature guy in the game because they've done it the right thing stats wise like they've given them ridiculously good lateral quickness at 98. They should have just given him a joke of a card.

Mo Williams - 87 - PG/SG

6’1’’ height, 6’4’’ wingspan, good speed, good three-point shot, no defense, cut dunk, they gave him Bouknight bass which is terrible. This card sucks.

Seth Curry - 87 - SG/PG

He has got Seth Curry on normal release timing, pro dribble style, decent three ball, but he's not very good.

Paul Pressey - 88 - SG/SF

He can't shoot, he’s got decent speed by 88, not a terrible release, not even good defense, Paul Pressey sucks.

Richard Hamilton - 88 - SG/SF

80 speed, 80 celebration, 86 three-poin, Jaden Springer lower base, he's just a much worse version of the pink diamond. He's not very good at this stage.

Xavier McDaniel - 88 - SF/PF

He's just the worst version of a day 1 card, 6’9’’, 7’0’’ wingspan. He’s got 90 hustle, 80 speed is okay, 80 acceleration is okay, but the shot 3pt 64 is terrible. The defense is not that great.

Will Barton - 88 - SG/SF

His shooting stats is great, the only downside is the 25 shot IQ. 44 strength is terrible, 90 steal is great, 94 lateral quickness is great. If he had quick or a better dribble style, this would be best Ruby in the game. He's okay, he's not bad.

Kyle Kuzma - 88 - PF/SF

He’s solid because it's really solid with 90 offensive, 85 stamina, 90 hands, he's still got Kuzma on lower base, he can't dribble, but we need his diamond, he's basically just a diamond, he's as far as rubies go. If there is a ruby and we can limit he's the guy you want.

Roy Hinson - SF/PF - 88

You have potential to make him a beast and you gave him a 30 three point. You can play defense and you gave him default swing lower base, default swing upper release. Normally, when 2K put a new player in the game, they give him juicigs and they literally just made him default small forward.

Swen Nater - 89 - C/PF

He’s got bad 69 shot 3pt, but 95 stamina, Joel Embiid dribble style, he’s just sucks.

Nate Robinson - 89 - PG/SG

He’s a player with 5’9’’ height and 6’0’’ wingspan. 92 shot 3pt is excellent, 97 speed, 97 acceleration, 98 vertical, 95 stamina, 93 lateral quickness and 98 driving dunk. He has normal release timing, Nate Robinson upper release.

Spud Webb - 90 - PG/SG

He has default small upper release, Keita Batesdiop lower base. He's not even going to be able to shoot the ball, he’s fast with 97 speed, 97 acceleration, 98 vertical, 98 driving dunk and 95 lateral quickness.

Eric Gordon - 90 - SG/SF

This is a tiny player that's not going to do anything, 92 speed, 92 acceleration, 95 shot 3pt, no defense, but at least he can shoot from deep. Eric Gordon lower base, normal release timing, can’t dunk, no defense, not very good.

Desmond Mason - 90 - SF/SG

78 shot 3pt, Tim Hardaway Jr. lower base, he's at the pro 3 leaner, at least he'll dunk. Not very good card.

John Wall - 90 - PG/SG

He’s going to be a worse version of pink diamond, not bad though. He might be amethyst pg number two after Penny Hardaway. He's not bad, John Wall lower base, quick release timing. John Wall is not going to be better in the pink diamond, he's kind of cheap, but for amethyst, he's going to be good.

Jack Sikma - 90 - C/PF

82 shot 3pt, 79 lateral quickness, he kind of sucks. He's going to be Kentavious Caldwell-Pope lower base. We don’t see him very good.

Wally Szczerbiak - SF/SG - 91

6’7’’ height, 6’10’’ wingspan, he still has default swing lower base, Kendrick Nunn upper release is awful. It is absolutely awful, he's just like a worse version of pink diamond who nobody's going to use. Not the worst but not good either.

Sleepy Floyd - 91 - PG/SG

A great player with 6’3’’ height and 6’6’’ wingspan. He’s got 84 shot 3pt, 89 speed, 89 acceleration, 95 offensive, 93 stamina and 70 driving dunk.

Isaiah Rider - 91 - SG/SF

LeBron James lower base, upper release as always, he's got normal dribble style, they want to make him a copy of LeBron James, they don't give him LeBron James dribble style. No defense, decent shooter, good dunker.

Bob Love - 91 - PF/SF

He can't really shoot the ball, good defender though. Amar’s Stoudimire lower base, normal release timing. There's no reason to use this card.

Bogdan Bogdanovic - 91 - SG/SF

He’s an okay dunker, decent shooter with 90 shot 3pt, 90 shot close and 87 shot mid. The worst part is that when this card came out in NBA 2K18, he was the only player in the game for under 100K with Hall of Fame range extender, and this card was iconic. When he actually did this for his All-Star game, this was iconic because he took he took a bunch of deep shots in a Hall of Fame range extender. This card was iconic for having Hall of Fame Limitless range, he shot so many deep shots in that game.

Damon Stoudamire - 92 - PG/SG

Hersey Hawkins - 92 - SG/PG

Byron Scott - 93 - SG/PG

Gilbert Arenas - 94 - PG/SG

Dwight Howard - 94 - C/PF

Isaiah Thomas - 95 - PG/SG

Brad Daugherty - 95 - C/PF

Ron Harper - 95 - PG/SG

Cliff Robinson - 96 - PF/C

Dale Ellis - 96 - SF/SG

Nikola Vucevic - 97 - C/PF

Deron Williams - 97 - PG/SG

Cliff Hagan - 97 - SG/SF
