It is always interesting to see the vast difference between Hardcore and Softcore builds due to different goals, there are a lot of skills that are considered overpowered in Hardcore that are never played in softcore because of its slow mapping speed or clunkiniess, melee is the most popular skill in Hardcore, but there are zero melee builds in Softcore trade.

 

No. 4 Meta Hardcore Meta Sanctum Builds - Seismic Trap

-Even after a million nerfs, Seismic Trap still reigns supreme as the best budget bosser.

-Curse (Temporal Chains) buffs ended up being huge for balancing out the damage nerfs.

-Great bossing playstyle due to the auto targeting nature of SRS.

-Diverse tree that can be played on almost any Class Start.

No. 2 Meta Hardcore Meta Sanctum Builds - Explosive Arrow

-Ziaran’s favorite build that is found on Champion and Juggernaut due to the defensive nature of both ascendancies.

-Uses +3 bow, Dyadian Dawn, and stacked +level of gems/damage over time multiplier for damage scaling.

-Great Bossing playstyle consisting of placing totems, spamming Frenzy, and placing Arcanist Brand.

-Mapping has delayed damage but grant clear due to Ignite Proliferation.

-Rain of Splinter is needed for mapping clear.

-Tankiness can be taken to next level with Loreweave and Eternal Damnation.

No. 1 Meta Hardcore Meta Sanctum Builds - Boneshatter

-Melee build is actually the no.1 option with Juggernaut at 80% and slayer at 18%.

-Defenses relies on gaining 100k+ Armour with Determination, Iron Reflexes, Jade, and Granite Flask, hard to get 100% Spell Suppression.

-Damage is scaled with Pdps on 2H Axe, 100% Impale Chance, and 40% more damage from precise technique.

-Axe is used as the main weapon due to access to range and higher Pdps.

-Decent Clear due to Additional Strikers from Ancestral Cry and built in Area Damage Scaling from Boneshatter Gem.

-Great bossing build because you can stand in everything, and it is near impossible to die.

Final Tips for Getting More POE Currency

-Banned Skills in Gauntlet does not take into account any of the top 5 builds besides Seismic Trap.

-Currently, any poison build is very overtuned due to the curse charges, making Poison SRS the favorite to win the Gauntlet.

-Juggernaut has turned into an Ascendancy that offers unparalleled defenses and can be adapted to fit a wide variety of builds.

-Ailments and debuffs that inflict damage over time will expire more slowly, this does not increase the amount of damge per second, but it may result in higher total damage.

-Recovery effects, such as leech and flask recovery, expire more slowly while recovering the same amount per second of whatever resource they provide.

-Even though temporary effects last longer due to the fact that they expire more slowly, they do not count as having a longer duration. Instead, in-game time more slowly for those effects, causing their duration timer to count down more slowly. In practice, this means that slower expiry is multiplicative with all duration modifiers in terms of how long time the effects lasts.
