We go over the top 6 Meta League Starters in Sanctum in POE. There was speculation about which build would be the most popular build after the #1 Build got the GGG Treatment (Lightning Strike). Sanctum ended up being melee unfriendly, so a lot of builds swapped to do the league mechanic.
Top 6 Sanctum Build: Poisonous Concoction
-69% Pathfinder, 26% Occultist, and 3% Trickster.
-Pathfinder Variant uses Asenath’s Gentle Touch for explode. Devouring Diadem is popular to fit in more auras.
-Occultists use Carcass Jack for chest to make up for AOE, and Pathfinders use Cherrubim’s Maleficence, Dendrobate, and Covenant.
-Build is probably not the best at Sanctum as you have to be relatively close with mediocre single target.
-Mediocre single target without cluster investment.
Top 5 Sanctum Build: Cold Dot
-68% Elementalist, 14% Trickster, 14% Trickster, and 4% Ascendant.
-Best Ascendancy for Softcore is Elementalist since it does the most damage.
-Cold Dot is very good for Sanctum as slows make sure the telegraphs a lot easier to dodge.
-Uses Skin of the Lords for damage due to increased skill gem level and Devouring Diadem for more auras.
-Surprised to not see this build higher, but Softcore Trade Players hate playing Cold Dot.
Top 4 Sanctum Build: Righteous Fire
-86% Juggernaut and 13% Inquisitor.
-Pohx switched from Inquisitor to Juggernaut, leading to mass exodus from Inquisitor. Inquisitor also received a nerf to the effect of Consecrated Ground.
-Immortal Flesh, Legacy of Fury, and Saffel’s Frame are all used by over 60% of Righteous Fire players.
-Righteous Fire is probably a disaster in Sanctum due to its need to be in melee range.
Top 3 Sanctum Build: Venom Gyre
-Great argument before Sanctum which Ascendancy would be the most dominant.
-98% Deadeye, 1% Pathfinder, and 0.2% Trickster.
-60% of Venom Gyre players are using the Permanent Rage Setup with Kaom’s Spirit, Voll’s Vision, and the Taming.
-9% are using Crystallised Omniscience, showing that the Amulet is super expensive as an upgrade.
-Venom Gyre is an extremely good Sanctum build due to its ability to be purely range while doing damage on the move.
Top 2 Sanctum Build: Explosive Arrow Totems
-82% Elementalist and 17% Champion.
-Elementalist has the most damage, but Champion is the hardcore variant with permanent Fortify and Adrenaline.
-94% Dyadian Dawn as Ignite Deals Damage faster is a more damage multiplier.
-Explosive Arrow is extremely good at Sanctum as you can hide in the corner while your totems take care of the boss/guards.
-Most surprising entry because explosive arrow totems did not receive much hype before the launch.
-Went from 6% to 8% Explosive Arrow due to people rerolling after realizing hoe OP totems are.
Top 1 Sanctum Build: Seismic Trap
-100% play rate on Saboteur as the Asendancy is unbeatable in terms of tankiness, damage, life recovery, and AOE.
-64% on Devouring Diadem for more Auras and the use of Divine Blessing Malevolence.
-Hilarious that GGG refused to nerf Seismic Trap because the play rate was low, now Seismic Trap is guaranteed to be nerfed next league.
-Most people rolled Seismic Trap to be able to trivialize bosses and do Ubers.
-Seismic Trap is not bad at Sanctum as you can throw your traps and hide while you do Dot damage.
Final Tips for Getting Best POE Currency & Sanctum Build
-Some exclusive CN only MTX.
-P2W is pretty mild compared to other games where you can directly buy infinite character power.
-Loot pet sounds amazing, but the West would hate having to pay a monthly subscription for looting pet.
-Extra Inventory Space sounds nice but after the loot drop nerfs, it is useless.
-China POE seems to prioritize the new player experience because it allows them to make maximize earnings.
