According to the Community Manager, the Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder S3 is expected to arrive in mid-February of 2023.

The Season 2 of Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder is going on, but lots of players want to know when it ends, if it works as Ladder 1, it also marks the arrival of Season 3. Now, if we look back into the D2R Ladder timeline, Season 1 began on April 28 and Season 2 came live until October 6, it takes over five months, even though Season 2 came later than their original plan, but considering the time needed for the balance and adjustment according to the feedback, the D2R Ladder Season 2 is very likely to end in March 2023.

D2R Ladder 2.6 PTR & Patch Start Date

The Diablo 2 Resurrected PTR 2.4 started on March 2 and PTR 2.5 kicked off on August 25, it also takes more than five months, and the PTR version of the game often more than one month earlier than the corresponding Ladder Reset, so we can expect the D2R 2.6 PTR to arrive in January or February 2023.

One of the most important times is going to be the launch time of D2R Patch 2.6, it is usually about two weeks before the Ladder start date, so we estimate that is around February 2023.

D2R Ladder Season 3 Start Date

The end date of Diablo 2 Ladder Season 1 is also when Ladder 2 starts, S1 to S2 happened immediately, so the start date of D2R Ladder Season is also around March 2023, we may not get the news of the third season right away, but the information of the next PTR can be expected. D2R Ladder will reset based on a rotating schedule, Blizzard has not announced the official timeline, their goal is to keep about a four-month duration between two releases, but the actual schedule is about five months for all, including PTR, Patch, and Ladder seasons. Here we have speculations for some important dates included in the D2R scheduled from 2022 to 2023.

- March 2, 2022: D2R 2.4 PTR start

- April 14, 2022: D2R Patch 2.4 launch

- April 28, 2022: D2R Ladder Season 1 launch
