Stepping into Conquest of Azeroth means a completely new ball game — 21 brand-new classes with roughly 70 different specs. Figuring out what actually pumps on the meters is exhausting. We’re only two weeks into launch, so the meta is definitely going to shift, but the raw DPS data from real logs gives us a clear picture of who’s shattering the damage meters right now. Without further ado, let's check Conquest of Azeroth best PvE classes and specs. Play what you enjoy. The gap between S-tier and B-tier is small enough that a skilled player on a B-tier spec will outperform a mediocre player on an S-tier spec.

S Tier 

These specs have the highest ceilings, safest medians, and most dominant log presence in the early Conquest of Azeroth PVE tier list.

Demolition Tinker

The gray dot is sitting so far to the right, it’s practically off the screen. Demolition Tinker has an absolute monstrous ceiling. If you love gadgets, explosives, and high actions per minute, this is your spec.

Best For: Players who enjoy high-skill-ceiling burst gameplay and don’t mind practicing their rotation.

Mechanic Tinker

Shares a very similar profile to Demolition — tightly packed median with an incredibly high outlier. Mechanic focuses on deploying turrets and sustaining gadgetry rather than pure explosive burst.

Best For: Players who enjoy pet management and sustained gadget-based damage with explosive potential.

Shadow Hunting Witch Doctor

Voodoo Witch Doctor

Infinity Chronomancer

Its average everyday damage is exceptionally high with very little variance. Look at that yellow box — it sits further to the right than almost any other median on the chart.

Best For: Players who want reliability over RNG. The safest S-tier pick.

Wild Walking Primalist

When this nature and elemental hybrid gets going, it’s an absolute powerhouse. The orange dot for max potential is sitting massively far to the right.

Best For: Players who enjoy the thrill of massive damage spikes and don’t mind occasional RNG slumps.

Engravement Runemaster

One of the highest burst potentials in the game. If you want explosive melee damage, Engravement is your pick.

Best For: Melee players who want explosive burst and a satisfying build-and-spend rotation.

A Tier 

These specs won’t top every meter, but they deliver reliable performance across all content. The backbone of any strong WoW Ascension Conquest of Azeroth PVE tier list.

Infernal Fel Swarm

An incredibly safe and powerful bet. The bright green box shows a fantastic median that pushes high up the chart.

Slayer Fel Form

The sniper fantasy. Nearly identical medium to Brigand, but with slightly higher max potential.

Best For: Players who prefer the traditional ranged sniper archetype.

You will always pull your weight. Teal box is dead center. Perfectly balanced.

Best For: Players who enjoy making the entire group stronger while dealing respectful personal damage.
