In 2026, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will not only retain its beloved roster of regular events but also welcome the highly anticipated Free Update Ver.3.0, bringing a wealth of new content to the island. All regular events remain intact, each rooted in real-world festivals and traditions—from Brazilian Carnival-inspired Festivale to Thanksgiving-themed Turkey Day and Christmas Eve’s Toy Day. Major events typically feature iconic hosts (such as Pavé for Festivale, Zipper for Bunny Day, Flick for Bug-Off, and C.J. for Fishing Tourney) who task players with fun challenges in exchange for exclusive series items.
