As 2026 approaches, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is set to welcome another year of vibrant, culture-rich events and exclusive seasonal items. From the carnival-inspired Festivale and egg-hunting Bunny Day to the competitive Bug-Off, relaxing Fishing Tourney, and heartwarming Turkey Day feast, each event brings unique gameplay mechanics, themed rewards, and opportunities to celebrate with villagers. This ACNH events 2026 calendar guide will help you stay ahead of every key date, ensuring you never miss a chance to collect limited-edition new items or join in the festive fun.

ACNH 2026 Update & Calendar (Events, Holidays & Items)

In 2026, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will not only retain its beloved roster of regular events but also welcome the highly anticipated Free Update Ver.3.0, bringing a wealth of new content to the island. All regular events remain intact, each rooted in real-world festivals and traditions—from Brazilian Carnival-inspired Festivale to Thanksgiving-themed Turkey Day and Christmas Eve’s Toy Day. Major events typically feature iconic hosts (such as Pavé for Festivale, Zipper for Bunny Day, Flick for Bug-Off, and C.J. for Fishing Tourney) who task players with fun challenges in exchange for exclusive series items. Additionally, Nook’s Cranny and Able Sisters will stock seasonal decor, clothing, and reactions for limited periods, all of which require ACNH Bells to purchase. It’s important to note that some events, like Lunar New Year and Moon-Viewing Day, may vary slightly in date each year, so be sure to keep an eye on your island’s bulletin board for updates. Below is a month-by-month breakdown of all 2026 events, the new 3.0 update details, key dates, exclusive items, and essential gameplay tips.
