ACNH 3.0 Zelda Villagers, Items (Furniture & Clothing), Amiibo List & More

January 15, 2026 ACNH

If you love both Animal Crossing: New Horizons and The Legend of Zelda, the 3.0 update is a dream come true! Released in January 2026, this free update brings exciting Zelda crossover content to your island. You can invite iconic Zelda characters as villagers, collect over 20 Zelda-themed items, and use Zelda amiibo for fun rewards. This guide will walk you through all ACNH 3.0 Zelda items and villagers.

How to Get New ACNH Zelda Items & Villagers (3.0)

The 3.0 update adds two special Zelda-themed villagers to ACNH: Tulin and Mineru. Both are from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK). Tulin is a jock bird, and Mineru is a snooty deer. They act just like other New Horizons villagers—you can talk to them, befriend them, and even see them visit Brewster’s Cafe! Alongwith that, a series of new Zelda furniture and clothing items are added to the game, let's how to get these new items and villagers in 3.0.

How to Invite Zelda Villagers in ACNH 3.0 (Tulin & Mineru)?

Requirements:

  • A compatible Zelda amiibo (see the full list below—different amiibo unlock Tulin or Mineru).

  • An open plot on your island (you can have up to 10 villagers total; if your island is full, you need to ask an existing villager to leave first).

  • Unlocked the Campsite on your island (this is a basic early-game feature—you’ll get it after upgrading Resident Services to a building).

  • Access to the Nook Stop in Resident Services (the machine where you scan amiibo).

Steps:

  • Find the right amiibo: Check the list below to pick an amiibo that unlocks Tulin or Mineru (e.g., the Tulin amiibo from TOTK unlocks Tulin, while the Mineru amiibo unlocks Mineru).

  • Go to Resident Services: Walk inside and interact with the Nook Stop machine.

  • Select “Invite Camper”: This option lets you use amiibo to call a special visitor to your Campsite.

  • Scan your Zelda amiibo: Hold the amiibo up to the NFC reader on your Nintendo Switch (on the right Joy-Con or the Pro Controller). Confirm the invitation when the game asks.

  • Check for Campsite availability: The game will warn you if there’s already a camper at your Campsite. You can either wait for the next day or ask the current camper to leave to make space for Tulin/Mineru.

  • Visit the Campsite: Head to your island’s Campsite—Tulin or Mineru will be there!

  • Persuade them to move in: Talk to Tulin/Mineru multiple times (usually 2-3 times). They’ll ask you to replace one of your current villagers. Pick the villager you want to leave, and Tulin/Mineru will agree to move in.

  • Wait for them to arrive: Tulin/Mineru will move to your island the day after they agree. You’ll find their house built on the open plot!

All New ACNH 3.0 Zelda Items

The 3.0 update adds 28 amazing Zelda-themed items to ACNH! These include furniture, clothing, accessories, walls, and flooring—all inspired by The Legend of Zelda games. You can’t buy them right away, though—you need to unlock them first.

How to Get Zelda Items in Animal Crossing 3.0?

Unlocking Zelda items is easy—you just need to scan any Zelda amiibo once at the Nook Stop. You don’t need multiple amiibo; one scan unlocks all items at once!

  • Go to Resident Services and interact with the Nook Stop machine.

  • Scan a Zelda amiibo (any Zelda series amiibo or Zelda-themed Super Smash Bros. amiibo works).

  • Check Nook Shopping: After scanning, all Zelda items will be unlocked in the Nook Shopping catalog. To find them, go back to the Nook Stop, select “Nook Shopping,” then “Special Items.” The Zelda items are in the “Promotion” menu at the top (this is also where you’ll find Mario and Lego crossover items).

If you don’t have any Zelda amiibo, ask a friend who has them! Once a friend unlocks the Zelda items, they can gift them to you through Nook Shopping (just like any other item).

All Zelda items are bought with Animal Crossing Bells. You can only buy 5 items per day, and they’ll arrive in your mail the next day. Here’s the complete list, sorted by category:

Common Questions About the ACNH Zelda Crossover

Q: Can I get other Zelda characters (like Wolf Link or Ganon) as villagers?

A: No, only Tulin and Mineru are available as Zelda villagers in the 3.0 update. Many players hope Nintendo adds more Zelda characters later, but there’s no official news yet.

Q: Do I need to scan different amiibo for different Zelda items?

A: No! Scanning any single Zelda amiibo unlocks all 28 items. You don’t need to collect multiple amiibo for the item set.

Q: Can I customize the Zelda items?

A: Currently, you can’t customize the Zelda items. They come in one design, but they still look great with any island theme!

Q: Do I need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to unlock Zelda items?

A: No, you don’t need online access to scan amiibo and unlock Zelda items. You only need online if you want to gift items to friends or visit other players’ islands.
