9/22/2025 11:06:36 AM

Season 10 of Diablo 4 is going to kick off at the end of September, bringing some of the highest power levels we've seen yet, thanks to the chaos armor, overall buffs, and chaos perks. Leveling is faster than ever, and every class has at least one outstanding build for the fastest 1-60 level progress. Here we update the Diablo 4 Season 10 leveling guide to sort out the best leveling builds for each class and the fastest leveling route that suits every build!

Diablo 4 Season 10 Best Leveling Build for Each Class

Season 4 features huge buffs, chaos armors, and new perks that make leveling faster and more efficient than ever. All classes can move through the early game quickly, but Spiritborn and Sorcerer stand out as a bit faster. Still, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, and Barbarian each have a highly effective leveling path.

1. Best Spiritborn Leveling Build - Evade Spiritborn

The Evade Spirit build stands at the top for fast leveling and smooth progression. Spirit Born received numerous buffs, including improvements to key passives, paragon nodes, and core skills, making the leveling experience smoother than ever. Start from level 1 to 15 with crushing hands spirit. At level 15, when you unlock your class quest (Eagle Hall), respec to the evade build. Crushing Hands has doubled in damage and provides a barrier and knockdown, making early Hell Tides manageable even on higher difficulties. Combine this with Thunder Spike, Vortex, Soar, and Toxic Skin for early game dominance.

From level 15 onwards, respec into pure evade, using Thunder Spike to reset evade cooldowns. The electricity chaos perk, if obtained early, further smooths the rotation, enabling near-permanent evasion. Stack cinders before turning them in to maximize experience gains from chests. Equip any legendaries you find, but if you get unyielding hits or conceded, these are especially strong. Once you reach level 60, transition into the evade endgame farming build, temper your gear, and push through the pits to unlock higher torment levels. The spiritborn evade build boasts incredible speed, survivability, and damage, making it ideal for both solo and group play.

2. Best Sorcerer Leveling Build - Firewall Hydra Sorc

Hydra remains a powerhouse for sorcerers, providing strong damage output and a straightforward playstyle. While a bit more gear-dependent than spirit born, hydra builds can transition smoothly into endgame setups like ball lightning or continue with hydra for high-tier farming.

Sorcerers excel at movement and AoE, making them efficient for Hell Tides and chaos rifts. Focus on picking up gear that boosts elemental damage and survivability, and rely on firewall and hydra for both clears and boss fights.

3. Best Rogue Leveling Build - Dance of Knives Rogue

Dance of Knives offers a spin-to-win style that is both fun and effective. Rogues benefit from ultra-buffed traps this season, allowing for easy transitions into trap builds or the always-popular death trap setup. The build is about 5 to 10 minutes slower than optimal routes but remains very strong and enjoyable for leveling. Transitioning into trap or death trap builds is straightforward, and the playstyle remains effective for both solo and group content.

4. Best Necromancer Leveling Build - Minion Summon Necro

Minion Necro is the ultimate chill leveling experience. Let your minions do all the work while you focus on looting and progression. The Soul Rift Necro build has reached the top of S tier, with excellent performance in both PTR and live play. The build is straightforward: summon minions, keep them alive, and collect rewards. It’s particularly good for players who prefer a hands-off approach to leveling.

5. Best Druid Leveling Build - Companion Druid

While pulverize is a strong endgame choice, the companion druid is recommended for leveling this season. Companions received significant buffs, and the synergy between ravens, wolves, and poison creeper creates a fast, high-damage build.

Start with wind shear to regenerate spirit and alternate between wind shear and pulverize for early levels. Focus on collecting key aspects like Ursine Horror (converts pulverize to earth), Retaliation (boosts core ability damage), and Shockwave (adds a forward shockwave to pulverize). Shockwave is a random drop but the other two can be obtained by completing specific dungeons. For gear, prioritize willpower, attack speed, crit, pulverize range, max life, and resistances. Apply aspects as soon as possible and start tempering around level 50-60 when gear stabilizes. The companion build is tanky, scalable, and offers a smooth journey to endgame.

6. Best Barbarian Leveling Build - Whirlwind/Lunging Strike Barb

Barbarian’s whirlwind and lunging strike remain a solid choice for leveling. The playstyle is classic spin-to-win, with whirlwind handling AoE and lunging strike handling single targets. Early on, aim to pick up aspects like Juggernaut for survivability and Unstable Power or Dual Threat if available. Focus on basic skills for single targets, whirlwind for packs, and transition into higher difficulties as gear allows. The build remains effective throughout the leveling process and can transition into endgame farming builds smoothly.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Fast 1–60 Leveling Route & Tips for All Builds

The power level is super high this season. Every class is viable for leveling, but some, like Spirit Born and Sorcerer, are a bit stronger than others. Most players will find themselves leveling faster than ever before, especially with the new chaos perks and infernal hordes, which can now be tackled during the leveling process. Here we sort out the fastest 1-60 leveling strategy for all class builds:

  • Start on Hard Difficulty: Most builds can easily handle Hard, granting 75% more XP. If you’re experienced or have a strong build like Spiritborn or Sorcerer, consider Expert for even more XP.

  • Create a Seasonal Character: Equip your pet, hire your mercenary if you have the expansion, and begin the season quest for early reputation and perks.

  • Prioritize Hell Tides and Chaos Rifts: Focus on Hell Tides, which provide strong XP and loot. Activate chaos rifts for chaos powers and season progression, but consider skipping them if the monsters are too tanky at the start.

  • Craft Precision Elixirs at Level 10: These grant an 8% XP bonus.

  • Group Up When Possible: Monster HP doesn’t scale with party size in Hell Tides, so leveling in a group increases efficiency and fun.

  • Do Infernal Hordes When Keys Drop: These multi-wave events are great for XP and loot.

  • Complete Class Quest at Level 15: This now unlocks automatically if you’ve done it before.

  • Use Dungeons for Key Aspects: If you need more survivability or damage, run aspect dungeons like Juggernaut for armor.

  • Push Higher Difficulties as You Get Stronger: Hard, Expert, and Penitent offer better XP as long as your build can handle it.
