A large collection of new tier sets is coming in World of Warcraft: The War Within Patch 11.2 and Season 3. Which set is better in terms of design and bonuses? Here is a WoW TWW 11.2 tier sets tier list for different classes.

WoW TWW 11.2 Tier Sets Tier List for Each Class (Season 3)

Unlike previous The War Within expansions, Tier Set bonuses in TWW 11.2 are not fixed to the class or spec alone but also changed based on your hero specialization. This means the same tier set can provide different bonuses depending on which spec and hero talent you are currently playing. The changes offer significant customization opportunities for class builds and seasonal gameplay. Beyond tier sets, Season 3 will include PvP updates, new mounts, titles, gear, and a new PvP-focused zone. If you’re new and wondering which sets look and feel the best, the Monk, Paladin, Priest, and Warlock sets offer the coolest looks and powerful bonuses.

1. Monk - S Tier

The Monk's tier set is absolutely stunning, no doubt about it. Visually, it’s packed with vibrant textures, sharp colors, and those unique headpieces that really pop. You can tell the designers put a lot of thought into making it stand out from the crowd. Gameplay-wise, the bonuses really encourage you to stick to certain talents, which makes your rotations feel smoother and more rewarding if you’re a Monk fan. For example, the Conduit of the Celestials 4pc bonus boosts your haste by a lot, letting you chain attacks and heals seamlessly. Plus, the Master of Harmony set adds a beautiful harmony between damage and healing through your Tiger Palm bursts.

2. Paladin - S Tier

The armor in the tier set for Paladins feels grand and noble again, with shining metal, intricate shoulder pieces shaped like horses, and a feathered helmet that adds a bit of flair. The bonuses meaningfully boost your healing and damage. Take the Herald of the Sun 4pc bonus, which improves your Holy Power spenders and gives you extra Dawnlight stacks, really enhancing your output during Avenging Wrath. Meanwhile, Lightsmith’s 4pc lets your Holy Armament spread to allies, which is neat for group support.

3. Priest - S Tier

This Priest set breaks away from the usual fluffy robe look and brings a more serious, armor-like vibe, especially with those imposing shoulders. When it comes to the bonuses, the Archon 4pc bonus lets you stack multiple Halos during Power Surge, giving you a powerful burst window. The Voidweaver 4pc further amps your damage based on the size of your Entropic Rift, a clever mechanic that rewards skillful play. Visually, it’s not the flashiest, but it nails the balance between holy and formidable.

4. Warlock - S Tier

Warlocks get a seriously cool look with this set. Imagine thick, curling horns, glowing arcane effects, and a mysterious demonic eye on the chestpiece that radiates dark power. The set bonuses fit the theme perfectly, summoning Demonic Oculi that assist in fights and buff your Intellect as they explode. The Hellcaller 4-piece bonus, which speeds up your damage and prevents certain stacks from being consumed. The Soul Harvester set enhances your demonic soul’s damage and resource generation.

5. Death Knight - A Tier

The Death Knight set takes a fresh approach, moving away from grim darkness to something more like a stalwart protector, with gargoyle-like shoulder pieces and a cleaner color palette. The Deathbringer 2pc and 4pc bonuses encourage stacking buffs and timing your Reaper’s Mark perfectly, which adds some thoughtful layers to your rotation. Rider of the Apocalypse’s summons and buffs feel impactful without being overly complex. While it’s stylish and solid, it just lacks the extra punch needed for S tier, so it sits at A.

6. Mage - A Tier

The tier set of Mage nails the classic wizard aesthetic, big hats, glowing shoulder orbs, and elegant robes. The Frostfire 2pc and 4pc bonuses add interesting spell interactions, like casting Pyroblast and Glacial Spike combos, which feel cool and dynamic. The Spellslinger set stacks buffs to reward sustained casting, and Sunfury’s Phoenix mechanics add nice burst windows. However, some players might feel the armor looks a bit heavier than the typical lightweight mage garb, which makes it feel less arcane mystic and more battle mage.

7. Rogue - A Tier

This Rogue set sticks to the traditional stealthy vibe but with much more detail and texture. The Deathstalker set boosts key abilities like Shiv and Symbols of Death with damage and duration buffs, making your poison and burst combos smoother. Fatebound’s coin mechanics add a neat layer of chance and cooldown reduction, which mixes things up. The Trickster set offers solid damage boosts and cooldown refreshes, but isn’t flashy.

8. Shaman - A Tier

After a few seasons of meh sets, Shaman finally gets a winner. The Farseer set has cool rune designs and wolf motifs that suit the class’s spirit-themed aesthetic. The Stormbringer 4pc bonus empowers your Ascendance and Tempest abilities, making your elemental storms hit harder and last longer. Totemic’s 4pc enhances your healing throughput by letting your spells cast again at boosted effectiveness, which is great for both healing and damage specs. The plume on the helmet is subtle but adds nice character.

9. Warrior - A Tier

The Warrior set looks a little too perfect and symmetrical, almost like it was designed by someone new to making armor sets. The spikes and chains jut out a bit awkwardly, but hopefully, in-game physics will give them some natural movement. Color-wise, it’s interesting and fits the class’s brutal style. The Colossus 4pc bonus really shines by boosting your Mortal Strikes or Shield Slams after Demolish procs. Mountain Thane’s Ionizing Strikes add extra damage procs, which spice up fights. Slayer’s bonuses improve your execute phase, making you feel strong at the end of fights.

10. Demon Hunter - B Tier

The Demon Hunter set takes a surprisingly bright and wild approach, veering away from their usual dark and edgy look. Some colors and styles even feel a bit nature-inspired, almost druid-like, which might throw off fans looking for that classic demon hunter vibe. The Aldrachi Reaver 4pc bonuses encourage combo play with Blade Dance and Chaos Strike or Soul Cleave and Shear, which is nice but not groundbreaking. Fel-Scarred’s boosts to Immolation Aura and demon form damage are solid but fairly straightforward. It’s an okay set with some interesting ideas, but doesn’t wow enough to climb higher than B tier.

11. Druid - B Tier

At first glance, the Druid set looks a little complicated but also somewhat plain. The colors are nice and varied, which is great for mixing and matching pieces, but the full set doesn’t really pop visually. The San’layn 2pc and 4pc bonuses focus on disease duration and melee power buffs, which help but don’t radically change gameplay. Elune’s Chosen and Keeper of the Grove sets add some cool star and lunar effects and summon helpful dryads, but these feel more like quality-of-life improvements than game-changers.

12. Hunter - B Tier

Hunter’s new set breaks from their usual animal and wilderness themes, looking more like a questing outfit than a beast master’s armor. The Dark Ranger set improves Black Arrow and Bleak Powder damage and cooldowns, which helps sustained DPS, while Pack Leader boosts pet damage and grants stat buffs when summoning beasts. The Sentinel set adds some Arcane damage twists with the Boon of Elune, but overall, the gameplay tweaks aren’t revolutionary.

13. Evoker - C Tier

The Evoker set is the least exciting here. Visually, it sticks to the usual dragon and regal motifs that we’ve seen plenty of times before, so it doesn’t feel fresh or unique. The Chronowarden and Flameshaper bonuses mostly reduce cooldowns and summon helper NPCs. Scalecommander’s squadron mechanic is neat but feels a bit passive.
