PoE 3.26 Best Ritual Atlas Tree & Farming Strategy (Secrets of the Atlas)

6/19/2025 10:02:06 AM

In Path of Exile 3.26, Ritual remains one of the most rewarding mechanics for steady currency farming, especially during the early weeks of a league. This strategy focuses on low investment with consistent returns, making it great for players who want to profit without spending too much time or currency juicing maps. If you’re short on time or just starting out, this setup can help you build up your wealth efficiently.

Why Still Do Ritual Farm in Path of Exile 3.26 Secrets of the Atlas?

Ritual in the 3.26 patch is still a jackpot-style mechanic. You might find nothing for a few maps, and then suddenly hit something big like a Mirror Shard, Divine Orbs, or valuable synthesized gear. On average, maps generate around 4,000 to 5,000 Tribute, and if the Ritual Altar spawns in the middle of City Square, you can get as much as 7,000 to 9,000 Tribute. Using Blood-filled Vessels, which you’ll naturally acquire from the Atlas Tree, boosts the Tribute even more.

City Square is the recommended map for this setup. Its layout increases the chance of the Ritual Altar spawning near the bosses in the center of the map. Starting your clear from the middle gives you the best chance to maximize Tribute quickly.

PoE 3.26 Best Ritual Atlas Tree Setup & Farming Strategy

1. Getting Started

Before jumping into this farming method, it’s important to have your Atlas mostly completed or at least close to full. The more passive points you have, the better this strategy works. Start by unlocking bonus objectives on maps—this is your main priority. Once you’ve done that, you can switch over to this farming setup.

2. Core Strategy

The core of the strategy revolves around Ritual, but it’s supplemented with other mechanics to increase profit and variety. You’ll be taking nodes that boost Ritual rewards, extra Tribute, and reroll options. To make the most of your maps, you’ll also allocate points for Eater of Worlds Altars, Improved Lab Trials, Heist, and quantity and pack size bonuses.

Eater of Worlds Altars can drop valuable items like Divine Orbs, good scarabs, or divination cards that reward other divination cards—some of which can be worth a lot. Just be careful with altar effects; they can reduce your resistances and make maps harder. Always read the altar effects before clicking.

Improved Lab Trials will occasionally reward you with special offerings that can be sold for profit. These trials are fast to clear and easily worth doing when you find them.

Heist is included because Smuggler's Caches appear often and drop blueprints, rogue markers, and contracts. These sell well in bulk and require minimal effort, just click the cache and grab your loot.

3. Atlas Tree Details

The tree includes nodes that increase item quantity, monster pack size, and the effect of map modifiers. You’ll also want to take the small nodes that increase the chance for strongboxes to appear, sometimes you’ll find arcane or divine strongboxes, which are great free bonuses.

To keep the strategy focused, you’ll block mechanics like Legion, Harvest, Expedition, Abyss, and Breach. This helps increase the chance of finding the content you actually want: Rituals, Heists, and Improved Trials.

4. Map Selection

City Square is the best map to run for this strategy. Its layout and boss placement give you a good shot at starting your first Ritual encounter in the center, where all three bosses are located. If this happens, the Tribute gain is significantly higher, and you can reroll better rewards.

Always start maps by heading to the middle and killing the bosses. Then complete all four Ritual Altars and check the rewards. It’s very straightforward and works well even with budget setups.

5. Scarabs and Fragments

For a budget setup, you only need one Ritual Scarab of Selectiveness to reroll rewards one extra time. Use Sacrifice Fragments to add quantity to your map—each gives +5% item quantity and they’re very cheap.

If you have more currency to spend, the ideal setup is two Ritual Scarabs of Selectiveness and one Ritual Scarab of Abundance. This gives more Tribute and reroll options, but keep in mind that Scarabs of Abundance are more expensive and using two is a waste, so one is enough.

Fragments and scarabs help increase overall loot, so even with minimal investment, your returns are solid.

6. Map Rolling and Altar Management

When rolling maps, be careful, especially if you’ve taken nodes that increase the effect of explicit modifiers. The more you stack, the harder the map becomes, but you’ll also get more loot. If your build isn’t strong yet, you might want to skip nodes that increase monster difficulty. Also, with Eater of Worlds Altars, some effects reduce your resistances, and taking too many can push them into negative values. Always read altar effects carefully before choosing them, especially if your gear isn’t ready for tougher content.

7. Loot and Profit Tips

The loot from Ritual can include synthesized and fractured items, which can be valuable. Use a price checker to see what they’re worth, sometimes even a base item with a good implicit can sell for a lot. Keep an eye out for divination cards, scarabs, and unique items as well.

Heist loot adds passive profit. Blueprints and contracts, especially fully revealed ones, can be sold for good currency. Rogue markers also sell in bulk.

Improved Lab Trials can drop offerings to the goddess that are shiny and easy to spot. Two of those offerings are quite valuable and can be sold quickly.
