The seasonal event Midwinter Blight is here, bringing new enemies, bosses, a revamped Fractured Peaks region, and exciting new items. One such item is the Shard of Dawn Offensive, a valuable item in Diablo 4's Midwinter Blight event that can help players battle against Blightfiends and the Red-Cloaked Horror. In this article, we will discuss where and how to obtain the Shard of Dawn Aspect and how it works in D4, along with some key locations to find it.

What is Shard of Dawn Aspect & How to Use it in D4 Midwinter Blight Event?

The Shard of Dawn Aspect is a legendary power available during the Midwinter Blight seasonal event. You can apply it to various items in your inventory, such as amulets, one-handed weapons, two-handed weapons, gloves, and rings.

Tips:

- Activate Night's Grasp: With the Aspect equipped, you can get a buff called "Night's Grasp" that increases your attack speed and movement speed under certain conditions, for 12 total seconds after 30 seconds

-Take advantage of Dawn’s Haste: During the 12-second duration of Dawn's Haste, make sure to maximize your attack speed and movement speed to deal more damage and maneuver swiftly.

- Coordinate with the Midwinter Ward: If you have obtained the Midwinter Ward, use it strategically to reduce the Night's Grasp duration by one second each time you eliminate an enemy. This can help you maintain the buff for longer periods and increase your overall effectiveness in combat.

Diablo 4 Night's Grasp & How Does it Work in Midwinter Blight Event?

Night's Grasp is an effect associated with the Shard of Dawn Aspect in the Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight Event. It plays a crucial role in activating the offensive bonuses provided by the aspect.

Here's how Night's Grasp operates in the Midwinter Blight Event:

- Cooldown Duration: Night's Grasp has a default cooldown duration of 30 second. This means that after equipping the Shard of Dawn Aspect, you need to wait for 30 seconds before the full power of Dawn's Haste is activated.

- Dawn's Haste Activation: Once the 30-second Night's Grasp cooldown is complete, the Shard of Dawn Aspect grants Dawn's Haste. This activates the offensive bonuses, providing a significant boost to your Attack Speed and Movement Speed for a duration of 12 seconds.

- Reducing Night's Grasp Duration: The Midwinter Ward, a reward for reaching Tier 3 of the Midwinter Tribute, plays a crucial role in reducing the Night's Grasp duration [3]. When you have the Midwinter Ward effect active, killing an enemy will reduce the Night's Grasp cooldown by one second. This allows you to more quickly ramp up and activate the Dawn's Haste buff, leading to exciting gameplay possibilities.
