What classes and specs are you planning on playing for the next season in WoW Dragonflight? Dragonflight 10.3 M+ Tier List & Ranking - Best Tanks, Healers & DPS for Dragonflight Season 3 Mythic+

Dragonflight Season 2, Patch 10.1.7: Season 3 and Patch 10.2 are soon to hit the PTR, and with it will come news about class changes, balance tuning, tier sets, new Mythic+ keys and new raid. So, with that knowledge, it's time to ask ourselves one thing: Which Specs do we want to see meta in Season 3 and which specs are we absolutely tired of seeing? In this article, we will explore the WoW 10.2 tier list and rankings of the best tanks, healers, and DPS specs for Dragonflight Season 3 Mythic+.

Dragonflight 10.2 M+ Tier List & Ranking

Dragonflight 10.2 M+ Melee DPS Tier List - Best Melee DPS in Season 3

  • Feral Druid (S-Tier)

  • Assassination Rogue (S-Tier)

  • Enhancement Shaman (A-Tier)

  • Windwalker Monk (A-Tier)

  • Unholy Death Knight (A-Tier)

  • Havoc Demon Hunter (B-Tier)

  • Survival Hunter (B-Tier)

  • Fury Warrior (B-Tier)

  • Subtlety Rogue (C-Tier)

  • Outlaw Rogue (D-Tier)

  • Retribution Paladin (D-Tier)

Starting with the melee DPS, we would like to still see Death Knights in a decent spot, this patch is not that either of these have been particularly great. Unholy has kept its decent spot in the raid, but it's never been more than that and both of the specs in Mythic+ have been rather poor. So we would like to see them in the next patch gain a bit more power. Then the Demon Hunter, it has taught us the often end up being here at all times every time. However, in Dragonflight is not being nearly as good both in season 1, they weren't by far the strongest one as a DPS spec including the melee, and then this season they have been even more average, not bad, but not the best either. So we are okay with this position for Havoc Demon hunter in 10.2. Survival is still hurting from the Abomination they created at the end of Shadowlands, so we still don't want to see them as much yet. But we’re more willing to see more Feral Druids, out of all of the spec of Druid, we can put it in S tier for the S3.

Warriors are not one of the strongest specs in the raid or one of the strongest specs in Mythic+, neither were they in the previous patch. One of the first specs which we still don't mind continuing being popular even though they already are is Enhancement which has been quite good in the Season 1 with the addition of Wind Fury as well. Season 1 of Dragonflight into Season 2 they were doing well both in the raid and Mythic+ right now as well. So even though they are already doing fine, they are the first of the currently popular specs we are seeing. We then have Rogues which are being reworked. The Assassination will be way more popular. Ret is difficult because Ret was in the unknown category until this expansion, then they were reworked, they became quite good. Then we have the Windwalker, they have been strong and viable and multiple points throughout these expansions.

Dragonflight 10.2 M+ Ranged DPS Tier List - Best Ranged DPS in Season 3

  • Beast Mastery Hunter (S-Tier)

  • Arcane Mage (S-Tier)

  • Elemental Shaman (A-Tier)

  • Affliction Warlock (A-Tier)

  • Marksmanship Hunter (C-Tier)

  • Fire Mage (C-Tier)

  • Destruction Warlock (C-Tier)

  • Balance Druid (D-Tier)

  • Shadow Priest (D-Tier)

  • Demonology Warlock (D-Tier)

We start with the Balance Druid, which will be in the D tier for Season 3 M+. Then we have Hunters, Hunters might have suffered enough as there were many crimes committed by Survival in Shadowlands. Hunters did do a fair share of crimes in Shadowlands when it came to their opinions, but it was nowhere near as bad as Survival, so at least one of these two could perhaps deserve to become meta again, the last time the biggest meta jump was Marksmanship with their ability in Shadowlands, so this time around we could go for Beast Mastery. Then we have Mage, we would just put all Mages here. We put Fire Mage on D tier. Frost Mage also needs to be lowered down because we want to see Arcane being played more. Then we have Shadow, we will put it on D tier. Talking about Niche underplayed hipster underground spec, Elemental is one of the other specs we would like to see more relevant in the meta whether it is M+ or whether it is the raid, we would like to see them be more considered in the next patch as they emits quite some rough time recently. We move then into Warlock, some people may don't want to see Demo Warlocks again, they are not nearly as strong. Then the Destruction Warlock, we would like to not make them that much more popular. If we had to choose once more since they work pretty much like Mages, at least one Warlock spec needs to be good every patch. Then go with Affliction, we would like to see the return of a few more Affliction players especially in Mythic+ over the raid.

Dragonflight 10.2 M+ Healers Tier List - Best Healers in Season 3

  • Mistweaver Monk (S-Tier)

  • Discipline Priest (A-Tier)

  • Preservation Evoker (B-Tier)

  • Restoration Druid (B-Tier)

  • Restoration Shaman (B-Tier)

  • Holy Priest (C-Tier)

  • Holy Paladin (D-Tier)

For the healers, starting with the Mistweaver, which has not been one of the main picks as far as healing goes since what it feels like forever. So every time we want to see some change in the healing power, then Mistweaver is always first in line. Then the Paladin, although however this seems to be a far cry from reality. Then we have the Preservation Evoker, a solid healer in the next patch, while not the super meta pick would be strong. Same goes for Resto Druid. We would perhaps like to see a few air amount of Holy Priests and a few more Discipline Priests mostly because we consider Discipline the harder, the more competitive and also the more satisfying spec to pull off compared to this meme of a spec. So that's where we would go if we wanted to see more healers in patch 10.2, these two picks right here being the more sought after healers. Last, the Resto Shaman, which is more on the line of the previous two specs.

Dragonflight 10.2 M+ Tanks Tier List - Best Tanks in Season 3

  • Brewmaster Monk (S-Tier)

  • Protection Warrior (S-Tier)

  • Vengeance Demon Hunter (B-Tier)

  • Protection Paladin (C-Tier)

  • Guardian Druid (C-Tier)

  • Blood DK (D-Tier)

We consider the only thing that matters for the balance of the tanks in the Mythic+, some other specs can change their value if they're also powerful in the raid, but tanks often turn out to be the ones who are powerful in Mythic+ only who become meta, very rarely there is going to be a meta tank like Brewmaster that is only powerful in the raid and then never use the Mythic+. Almost always the tanks used a lot Mythic+ end up being the ones used in the raid as well.

So start with the Blood DKs, they have not specifically been the meta tank for a while, they have been beaten by Prot Warrior and then they have been beaten by Prot Paladin, but they were always the second in line or the third in line, they've always been one of the top two tanks in the raid as well. The safe pick, the self efficient tank that can play solo in a Mythic+ key. On an opposite side, we would like to see Brewmaster as the tank of choice in 10.2. Going pretty much by a process of elimination, most of these tanks have at their time this expansion, whether it was a Prot warrior at the start, then passed by Prot Paladin when they were buffed, then passed by Guardian and Vengeance later on in this season. So Brewmaster is basically the last one out that we would like to see being one of the major picks. As for the other tanks, we would like to see fewer Protection Paladins and more Protection Warriors. We’re also okay with the current state of Guardian Druid, provided though they get nerfed. Then we’re also fine with the state of Vengeance Demon Hunter, we also wouldn't mind seeing Vengeance for a little bit more.
