Diablo 4 Season 1 Build Tier List - Best D4 Season 1 Builds for Each Class

In this Diablo 4 Season 1 tier list by ChoseN | Diablo 4, follow us to go through and rank all the builds in terms of being a good starter in the upcoming first season, it will cover the best D4 season 1 builds for Sorcerer, Necromancer, Druid, Rogue, and Barbarian.

  • S Tier: Twisting Blades Rogue, Bone Spear Necromancer, Whirlwind Barbarian

- Twisting Blades Rogue is ranked above Bone Spear in terms of speed farming, even though bone spear does way better at clearing trash, Twisting Blades is able to move quicker through the dungeons and being able to reset cooldowns and your damage is still really good to where it doesn't really matter until you start reaching really high tier ones.

- The Bone Spear Necro is an undoubted S-tier D4 build as it is absolutely dominating in the game, it is going to be strong in Season 1 and good for farming into World Tier 4, you can do insane damage, you are able to blast Nightmare dungeons and farm XP fastest with it, you don't have to have your gear min max and you're gonna be able to walk through the 50s and really level up your glyphs and stuff super fast.

- The Whirlwind Barb goes straight into the S tier, but with a lot of the nerfs that it got, it's noticeably lower than the other two, despite it being very casually just running through killing everything, it's not as fast as the Rogue and it doesn't do as much damage as the Necro.

  • A Tier: Ice Shards Sorcerer, Thorns Barbarian, Flurry Rogue, Shred Druid

- Ice Shards Sorcerer is a solid build in Diablo IV, it does good damage but not god tier, it's gonna fall off a little bit later once you get up to around level 60s on nightmare dungeons, but if you're looking for a seasoned starter build and you're trying to get into those 30s and tier 40s fast and kind of teleport around and blast stuff down, this is a pretty solid choice.

- Thorns Barbarian is a fast-clearing build and a pretty solid choice for starting D4 Season 1, you are just clearing through everything, and when you're jumping into the packs, you kind of annihilate the whole group, what's nice about the Thorns Barb is all the passive trash that you're running past, you can oftentimes kill them.

- Flurry Rogue is a very powerful speed farming build and if you are considering a starter into World tier four, flurry icon is going to be a really nice option for you to run.

- For the Shred build, you do have to invest in it and you do need to get some things rolling with it, but the movement speed that you have with this build and the ability to kind of jump around a little bit more than the pulverize build, it might be the best Druid build for speed farming.

  • B Tier: Rapid Fire Rogue, Hammer of the Ancients (HotA) Barbarian, Arc Lash Sorcerer, Summoner Necromancer, Pulverize Druid, Bone Spirit Necromancer, Tornado Druid, Chain Lightning Sorcerer

- They've kind of balanced out a lot of the skills for the Rogue, Rapid Fire is one of them, now you can play rapid fire like a melee build even though it's a ranged skill, which makes it so much better and it is a very good speed clearing build.

- HotA has massive damage and you really need to crit with this build and you don't have as much scaling for it and so with the ability to have your gear not absolutely min max with missing crit chance perhaps in some areas, HotA kind of drops a little bit, it is powerful in the endgame, but for speed farming at the early stage, it is more suitable put in the High B tier.

- The Arc Lash build is going to be absolutely amazing for leveling early game, you're gonna be unlimited resources and just run around AOE clearing, super easy for the first 30 or 40 levels, but it'll fall off a little bit in the end game, but it's pretty solid as a starter, it's easy to play and you'll level up pretty casually and easily, it should be put in the high B or low A tier.

- Summoner Necromancer, when talking about clearing out a single sort of damage, it was actually very good for that, the problem is when you're running around doing speed clearing, they kind of get lag behind, they can't clear things as quickly as some other options.

- Pulverize Druid is probably a middle B tier build that is very good at one shot in big groups of enemies, but not really good at being able to spam out a whole lot, you can have options to spam out when you do develop the build a little bit but it requires a little bit of investment.

- With Bone Spirit build, you literally launched one bone spirit and you killed an entire elite pack in one shot, it's actually really solid, the only problem with it is that you do have to make sure you have high essence when you cast it because it uses your whole essence thing.

- Tornado Druid is good at single-target damage and is absolutely destroying bosses, but the Druid class does not have a lot of good speed clear and is pretty slow for leveling, Tornado is lower than shred for speed clearing.

- Chain Lightning is kind of similar to Arc Lash but maybe not as good as it, it is going to be at low B tier, when you're dealing with a single target where you can bounce off yourself, when you start clearing big packs, chain lightning is not that good.

  • C Tier: Blizzard Sorcerer, Firewall Sorceress, Double Swing Barbarian, Blood Lance Necromancer

- Blizzard Sorc is a little bit better in late game but probably not a great speed farming seasonal starter spec, the Mastery skills aren't really for the Sorceress class, it is put down near to the Firewall build.

- Firewall Sorceress should be a meta in Hardcore, but considering the whole game, it is going to be put in the C tier. You can't proc vulnerable enough on the fire Sorc, you're gonna still have to use the Ice Nova and if you're doing that for leveling, there's gonna be other options that are better than waiting for things to burn down.

- The amount of single target damage that can be pumped out of the Double Swing Barb build is pretty nice, the only problem is that it is probably not a good option to start out with in Diablo 4 Season 1 because it's not going to speed clear nearly as fast and you're gonna have some struggles with it, but it's not as bad as Blood Lance, so it should be in high C tier above Blood Lance.

- The Blood Lance is put in the C tier, the problem with it is that it does require a couple of aspects and when you're starting out level 70, you are mainly focusing on speed XP farming, speed clearing for gear, and but when you compare it to the other options you have with Necromancer, its AOE isn't as strong, you kind of have to chain together a lot of blood lands and different enemies to really get that damage rolling.
