To celebrate the transition of Auternum from the winter into the spring, starting from March 28, 2023, players of the New World can participate in the Springtide Bloom event. The event involves crafting spritzes, killing wasps, completing quests, gaining Sprintide tokens, and purchasing event-specific items from the store. Similar to the Winter Convergence event, one of the highlights of the event is the introduction of new 600GS Spring Patterns that players can acquire. In this guide, we will break down how to get the New World Springtide Patterns and how to use them to craft 600GS gear with forced perks!
New World Spring Patterns Guide - How To Get Spring Patterns & Craft 600GS Armors with Forced Perks
New World Spring Patterns basically refer to the Uncommon and Legendary patterns coming in Springtide Bloom Event. The guaranteed 600 patterns require no armoring skill as usual and offer plus 25 for the attribute of your choice and come with an empty socket physical aversion refreshing and random perk. What's more, these spring patterns provide you with 56,700 armoring experience per, craft crafting each of these ones would go a long way into Power leveling your armoring like crazy. These also will have a chance to provide you with expertise bumps when they're crafted which is also good, but most importantly the cost to make them it's so low.

Uncommon Spring Pattern Perks
The green springtide patterns seem to have a slightly better chance to roll good perks because they're skipping the different types of reinforced gathering luck and maybe something else but they don't seem to be significantly different from crafting say Shadewalker. Although they resemble their legendary counterparts, their gear level falls within the range of 590 to 600. However, this minor setback can easily be overcome by players who possess a plethora of items to attain the highest gear score possible.

While the legendary springtide patterns in particular are great because it has two locked perks: Refreshing and Physical Aversion. Again you can choose your attributes so this is very similar to The Summer Event reward which provides you with elemental aversion and refreshing.
600 GS Spring Pattern Forced Perks
Refreshing (31.75%): Reduce max cooldowns by 2.9%.
Resilient (31.75%): Receive 4.9% less damage from critical hits.
Invigorated (10.58%): Reduce the duration of Weaken, Disease, Exhaust, and Rend by 11%.
Vigor (10.58%): Reduce the duration of Burn, Bleed, and Poison by 11%.
Freedom (10.58%): Reduce the duration of Slow, Stun, and Root by 11%.
In the perk buckets for the last, guaranteed perk are the same as well, so you have a very high chance to go resilient on boots for example it is 32%, it's slightly lower on the other pieces because you have to factor in that. They usually have another perk that they have a high chance to roll but generally speaking, there's a very high chance to get resilient plus physical aversion and refreshing.
Are Spring Patterns Worth Getting in New World Springtide Event?
Now you may say with the next patch buffing fire staff, Elemental Aversion is clearly better than Physical Aversion, so why would we want a physical aversion?
Physical Aversion Pecks is still Worth - Here's one thing to keep in mind everyone currently is banking rightfully on the Meta being Elemental Aversion because of that most people are gearing towards Elemental aversion and the result of that will be a matter where on average Elemental damage will be a little bit lower than physical damage in most situations excluding outlayers where they have the full resistance against it in a fully slotted on onyx. So there may be quite a few players that figure that "if everyone is going on a mental version now then I will no longer use elemental gems in my ranged physical weapons". This is especially relevant in the context of the Elemental version always being active and not just after Dodgers like checking fortification, so we could end up in a scenario where you get significantly more damage out of for example having an opal compared to having an elemental gem. This is especially true for the bow and the Blunderbuss if you're running a strength build not quite sure if it will actually end up being the case for the musket where you have to factor in the end perk as well. But either way, if we see those non-elemental gem builds return to the meter maybe also to counter something like Fire Mages, then this could possibly not be the worst perk to have, it could actually be beneficial to slot at least some physical aversion maybe have some decent Split between Physical and Elemental aversion. The same would also be true if a void blade takes off in the meter and you actually need to slot elemental gems against melee damage as well, where physical aversion with opal on your armor works a lot better.
Sell Sprint Patterns for Gold Profit - The key aspect of this is that by crafting Armoring Level 150 items, you can obtain two guaranteed perks and a gem slot without incurring any Azoth cost. This gem slot can further enhance the usefulness of perks that align with your current build. Even though the green spring pattern requires fewer materials to craft than their Legendary counterparts, but they also offer a better overall value. The material requirements are different but not necessarily cheaper. And that's not all! Since these items are straightforward to craft and yield significant rewards, you can purchase multiple items during the event and subsequently sell them because they are all tradable.
So as you can see a lot of things to consider here and definitely worth having a few pieces of this at least in your storage just in case it becomes useful.
How To Craft 600GS Gear Set with Springtide Patterns?
To craft gear with the Spring Patterns, you simply follow the same way with your usual gear crafting:
Go to your Outfitting Station or the Forge depending on the way the gear you plan to craft.
Once there you will see these springtide patterns allow you to craft gear with the main attribute of your choice, and will be a guaranteed 600 GS.
You don't require the trophies, you don't require the gear associated with that trade skill, you only need to prepare some materials to complete the recipe for crafting 600 GS Gear Sets
How To Get Spring Patterns in New World Springtide Bloom Event 2023?
As we mentioned, these spring patterns are available for a limited time during the Springtide Bloom event, and you need to use limited-time event currency - Springtide Tokens to buy them. Basically, if you're already at the Winter Convergence Festival, it's sure to be easier for you to get involved. However, the process of this event is so simple:
1 - Start the Springtide Bloom Event at the settlements in each territory and receive Wispy Spritz
2 - Go to one of the four classic village locations, and interact with the pile of sacs to receive coin sack
3 - Talk with the NPC - The Bloom Herald and take the event-related quest
4 - Head over to Wispybloom Field, kill Bees with Wispy Spritz, and get Wispybloom / Wispy Wasp Goo
5 - Exchange Wispybloom and Wispy Wasp Goo to Springtide Tokens (limited-time event currency)
6 - Use these Springtide Tokens to purchase Rewards including some great patterns
