Dark Moon Greatsword is one of the best Greatswords in Elden Ring with a good amount of frost buildup and great stagger capability, its unique skill lets you use a beam of moonlight from its blade, those awesome charge beams are really fun to use, and have a lot of magic damage as well. Below is a version of Dark Moon Greatsword Build 1.08.1 in 2023 with the setup chosen by Your Average Gamer, use this extremely overpowered Greatsword build to take down tough bosses.

1. Stats (Level 200 & Level 150)

Below are the stats of a level 200 Dark Moon Greatsword build in Elden Ring. What to do with the level 150 stats? You only need the minimum strength and a good amount of intelligence, this weapon itself and the Ash of War along with it scales primarily with intelligence, so that’s going to be the primary stat for this Dark Moon Greatsword build. You can actually put your faith at 23 and get it to 33 with the tear.

- Vigor 60

- Mind 35

- Endurance 25

- Strength 23

- Dexterity 15

- Intelligence 80

- Faith 33

- Arcane 8

2. Weapons & Skill

Dark Moon Greatsword in Elden Ring is a Greatsword that you get at the end of Ronnie's questline, it's one of the legendary weapons in the game, it is a fantastic weapon to use and you can get additional frost on it with a weapon art, while also sending out beams that do a little bit of frost and good amounts of magic damage. The distance attack is one of the most overpowered parts of this Elden Ring item. Using the Moonlight Greatsword Ash of War, you're going to get some stance damage in a little bit of frost and a lot of magic damage.

- Dark Moon Greatsword +10

- Finger Seal (Any Seal)

- Lusat’s Glintstone Staff +10

- Moonlight Greatsword Skill

3. Armor

You will get more damage out of using the Spellblade Set with the Darkmoon Greatsword and you'll get two percent additional damage for each piece of the set.

- Jar

- Spellblade's Traveling Attire

- Spellblade's Trousers

- Spellblade's Gloves

4. Talismans

The beam is quite good, it's boosted by the Godfrey Icon, it's also boosted by Shard of Alexander and then you can boost it further if you're at full HP by the Ritual Swords Talisman. You have a couple of talisman options, the Magic Scorpion Charm is also boosted, there is a lot that can make the weapon stronger and you can get a considerable amount of damage out of the weapon art.

- Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman: boosts physical damage negation.

- Godfrey Icon: enhances spells and skills.

- Shard of Alexander: boots the attack power of skills.

- Magic Scorpion Charm: raises magic attacks and lowers damage negation.

5. Spells & Buffs

For the spells, if you're able to set up Terra Magica and then use the beams, Terra Magica is a Sorcery that gives you a magic buff, and increases magic damage from any source by 35%, lasting 30 seconds, the weapon art with the beams is mainly magic damage you're basically boosting. You're always going to get more damage out of it, it's a fantastic complement to the Darkmoon Greatsword's beams. For buffs, you can use Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri.

6. Flask of Wondrous Physick

Use the magic tear or the faith tear if you need the extra 10 levels for buffs.

- Opaline Hardtear

- Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear
