S Tier Best Remembrance Bosses in Elden Ring 2023

Astel

Go straight into S tier, this boss is strange Alien life form, comprised of many-colored star debris which landed in the lands between long ago and is found in the grand Cloister in the Lake of Rot. Astel destroyed one of the Eternal cities and wiped out their sky. Astel is a legend boss found deep in the lake of rot, this boss is optional but is required if you're doing Ranni's questline. There are so many reasons that Astel is in S tier. This boss is really challenging whilst being fair and not needing to rely on any mechanics aside from the teleporting grab attack, this is definitely one of the bosses that can take you the longest to defeat on your first playthrough especially as you want to do the whole playthrough without any summons or spirit ashes. Astel is a truly awesome boss and well deserving of one of the top spots on this list.

Elden Beast

Even though the remembrance itself is specifically the remembrance of the Elden Beast will bundle Radagon into this review as well because he is the first half of this boss fight. And with the two of them combined, they have to go into S Tier. Put the Elden Beast just behind Astel. The length of this boss fight with the absolutely brutal move set of Radagon plus the ridiculous health pool of the Eldon Beast make it borderline obnoxious. An absolutely epic fight and an insanely powerful ending to this incredible game cause Elden Beast had to go into S tier, an absolutely phenomenal boss fight through and through and one that will stay with you forever.

Godfrey

This is the first Elden Lord and his second phase Hoarah Loux easily take the top S spot on this list. There is just nothing that you don't love about this fight, this is a true test of a player's abilities along with the fact that the music for this boss is absolutely epic, everything about it just makes you feel like a god, this is a truly pleasing fight. Godfrey and phase2 Hoarah Loux are both amazing bosses, beautifully voice acted, incredible movesets, it is all action all the time. And if you had to choose a boss to attempt to get good enough to solo, it would be this boss. No other boss in the game gave us such a feeling of awesome power than beating Godfrey 1v1.

Starscourge Radhan

The second most anticipated boss on this list - Starscourge Radhan. He is the epitome of epicness, his backstory, his lore, how he got his power, how he is so powerful, everything about him is so incredibly cool and epic. Technically, you could view this boss fight as one of the gimmicks because it's kind of required to summon all of the spirit ashes throughout the arena. He should go to the S tier.

A Tier Elden Ring Remembrance Weapon Bosses

Godrick the Crafted

Godrick the Grafted is likely to be the first remembrance boss you face especially for your first playthrough. Godric is like an early game Godfrey, he's another one that we can have a really fun time mastering. Godrick has a lot of moves that can be easily dealt with after seeing them a few times. The dodge and roll timings can be a little tough to get right during phase two with the addition of fire-based attacks but are manageable overall. A really solid early game boss fight in Elden Ring, so we need to put Godrick in A tier, othing mind-blowing but very solid A tier boss.

Mohg, Lord of Blood

Most of his damage is done through blood flame which is just such an awesome mechanic. Mohg is a real challenge for those who lack a good store of Crimson Tears and damage output. The fight can get chaotic since he is surprisingly quick for a large Omen. But he's just not quite as impactful and monumental enough to get that S tier spot, therefore, stick him right at the front of A tier just in front of Malenia, he is just teetering between the two, he's so incredibly badass. And he does have one particularly powerful fairly broken move, but there are multiple ways to counter it such as just healing through it or acquiring the crystals here that will nullify the effect. So despite that, he still stays firmly high up on the list.

Malenia, Blade of Miquella

She’s incredibly quick and agile and can kill a large portion of the player base with one opening of her own. Melania is undoubtedly one of the coolest NPCs in the whole entire game and being able to cosplay as her and wield her armor set and her weapon once you've defeated her really bumps her rating up. There is also an incredibly awesome questline tied to her, it is very hard to argue that Melania isn't the coolest person in existence, for that reason combined with the fact that she's just a little bit too cheesy, jus tplace her firmly at the front of A tier.

Maliketh, the Black Blade

Maliketh’s Black Blade is another boss like Melania that falls into the trap of being just a little bit too cheesy. He can be a massive problem for players. The attacks are very fast and often difficult to react to. Additionally, the attacks have a slow, lingering health drain that players must keep aware of, getting hit by the Black Blade will also lower the player’s maximum health.  It is very hard to argue that he isn't one of the most badass characters in the game. But his phase 2 move set is just a little bit too unfair to rate him any higher, so stick him at the end of A tier.

B Tier Remembrance Boss Fights in Elden Ring 2023

Morgott, the Omen King

Put him in front of the Fire Giant in B tier. Morgott has a very similar moveset to the first time players face him. But this time, the fight has a lot more going on. Morgott is more aggressive and there is a second phase. Additionally, getting hit by Morgott’s Cursed Sword will cause blood loss build-up, only adding to the pressure that players face. Even though players have the tools and are comfortable with the combat system at this point in the game, Morgott is a very challenging late-mid-game boss that can put a wrench in the progress cogs.

Fire Giant

The Fire Giant is one of them gimmicky fights along with Rykard, and the problem with gimmicky fights is you either love them or hate them. The fire giant for them most part is just a DPS check, how much can you abuse status effects like bleed or how much damage can you pump out in a short amount of time. Phase a whale on his feet, phase 2 whale on his hands chest and face. He has a very slow and very telegraphed move set, it's a super awesome arena and the boss himself aesthetically looks amazing. It's a super cool fight and you feel incredibly powerful when you do finally manage to slay him. But as it is one of them fights that kind of relies on a gimmick, you can only rate it so high. So put Fire Giant in the B tier.

Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy

Sticking him in the B tier. Both of his phases are awesome, he is the most badass sickest looking boss in the game. His law is so cool, he is an awesome Legend of a demigod, a truly amazing boss to fight and it give you a rush when you finally manage to beat him for the first time. The whole fight is super cool. There are some really clutch moments and especially in phase two, he has some really horrible and cheesy moves. But with how cool the gimmick is and how much damage and how powerful this fight allows you to feel, it can be forgiven for that.

C Tier Bosses That Drop Remembrances in Elden Ring

Dragonlord Placidusax

This dragon lord is another Legend boss, found in an optional area in the Crumbling Farum Azula. He is an absolute Powerhouse of a boss, definitely one of the most intimidating bosses in the game and it is truly terrifying the first time you face up against this Dragon. He has so many awesome very powerful moves, a phenomenally huge health pool and an insane amount of damage. This boss is definitely a test of any player's abilities. However, this boss has only earned himself a place in C tier because by this point in the game, the dragon fights have already been very plentiful. And though he is the most different, all of the Dragon fights do start to get a bit samey towards the end of the game, especially in the Crumbling Farum Azula when you are fighting tons of them.

Lichdragon Fortissax

This massive four-winged black dragon is entirely optional and very miscible. However is required to finish fears questline and unlock the age of duskborne ending. The law around this dragon and this whole quest line is absolutely incredible. Focus on the boss and boss fight itself, hearken back to Dragon Lord Placidusax, it is another Dragon boss fight and the dragon Lord's boss fight is slightly cooler than this one, so put Fortissax right next to the Dragon Lord in the second position in C tier.

D Tier List of Elden Ring Remembrance Bosses 2023

Regal Ancestral Spirit

This can be the first D-tier boss. For the positives, his arena and the soundtrack are both amazing, the boss itself also looks glorious, it is beautiful, it is magnificent. Unfortunately, there's no redeeming factors when it comes to the actual combat of this boss fight, you're probably want to come here either very over leveled and two shot it or way too under leveled and have a terrible time, because given enough time it has some really horrible moves. The fact that it jumps around the arena so much means that it's practically impossible for melee classes to hit, it is just a really painful horrible dance of a boss fight. This boss has never really given us any troubles, it just wasn’t an enjoyable experience with spells and incantations especially coming at the right level, it was easy and in melee it was just impossible because you cound’t hit the bugger, just like a really awkward and clunky boss.

Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon

She’s even lower than the Regal Ancestral Spirit. Rennala is going right at the bottom of D tier. For a fairly similar reason, she fights super underwhelming, phase one is literally just kill some helpless kids and then kill her, then you move on to her true form which is better for sure, Rennala 's cool and she has some very awesome moves, we like the fact that you have to deal with her spirit ashes as well, the whole experience underwhelming is too easy and very boring.

That’s the end of all Elden Ring remembrance bosses rankings & tier list. What do you agree with and what do you disagree with? What boss would you put first and what would you put last? Which boss has the best remembrance Elden Ring?
