What is Awakened Sextant in Path of Exile?
Awakened Sextants are a type of sextant in the game Path of Exile. They are used to add a random enchantment modifier that applies to all Maps in your Atlas. Awakened Sextants have 3 charges and can be obtained by dropping them in maps. Elevated Sextants, on the other hand, only drop from The Maven and grant better Sextant modifiers with 15 charges.
What to Do With Awakened Aextant POE?
Apply to Watchstones: Awakened Sextants can be used to apply additional modifiers to regions on the Atlas of Worlds. Socket an Awakened Sextant into a watchstone by placing it in one of the slots in the Atlas device. This will activate the sextant and apply its modifiers to maps within that region.
Combine with Orb of Horizons: You can use an Awakened Sextant in combination with an Orb of Horizons on a map to change it to a random map of the same tier within the same region. This can help with finding specific maps or targeting certain types of content.
Modify map drops: Awakened Sextants can affect the types of maps that drop within their region. By strategically applying sextants, you can increase the likelihood of specific map drops or modify the modifiers on those maps.
Strongbox and monster modifiers: Sextants can also modify the types and strength of modifiers on Strongboxes and other monsters within the influenced region. This can lead to more challenging encounters or increased rewards.
League-specific sextant modifiers: Depending on the current league mechanics, Awakened Sextants can have additional modifiers that interact with the league-specific content. These modifiers can enhance or modify the league mechanics within the influenced region.
How to Obtain Path of Exile Awakened Sextant?
Harvest Crafting: In the Harvest league (specific to the 3.11 expansion), you could use the crafting mechanics of the Sacred Grove to create Awakened Sextants. This involved planting and harvesting specific seeds to craft the sextants.
Atlas Missions: Zana, the Master Cartographer, can sometimes offer Atlas missions as part of her daily missions. Completing these missions can reward you with Awakened Sextants as one of the possible rewards.
Atlas Conqueror Influenced Maps: Defeating the Atlas Conquerors and progressing through the endgame storyline can reward you with Awakened Sextants. When you defeat a Conqueror, they drop Watchstones that can be slotted into your Atlas device. Socketing certain combinations of Watchstones can influence maps to drop Awakened Sextants as rewards.
Trade: You can also obtain Awakened Sextants by trading with other players. Many players accumulate extra sextants and are willing to sell or trade them.
