The countdown to FIFA 22 TOTS is now on, with an official release date confirmed by EA Sports for Friday 29 April 2022. So we have a few more days to wait.

The FIFA 22 Team of the Season promotion is the longest annual FIFA Ultimate Team release and so far EA has confirmed a number of teams, but these are just the warm-up phase and based on past experience, a maximum of 15 enhanced league teams have been released during this event and it can be assumed that there will be a continuous stream of teams after that It can be assumed that teams will continue to be released after that.

For FIFA 22 this year, the FIFA 22 TOTS team poll is currently open to fans to vote for each of the major TOTS teams, with the final line-up determined by the votes in this poll and by EA officials, but the confirmation and expected release period of each season's teams is also being updated on an ongoing basis.

At this stage, FIFA 22 TOTS teams are selected by a combination of fan-fan voting and EA, the first TOTS team will be the community team announced on 29 April, so the Premier League team list and the release date are expected to be announced on 6 May, arguably the biggest seasonal team each year, followed by other leagues from around the world, including the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, La Liga and Serie A.

TOTS Team 6 - Serie A TOTS - Team announced on June 3

TOTS Team 7 - Ultimate TOTS - Team announced on June 10
