Diablo 4 Season 15 Best Class & Builds Tier List (3.2)

Season 15 of Diablo 4 is right around the corner, and the 3.2 PTR patch notes have given us our first real look at what's coming. With the PTR wrapping up on August 11th, followed by BlizzCon on September 12th–13th, and Season 15 officially launching on September 15th, there's a lot to sort through before we jump back into Sanctuary.

Below is our updated Diablo 4 Season 15 tier list based on 3.2 PTR testing, community feedback from top theorycrafters, and the latest data on Soul Splinters, Legacy Uniques, and Mythic Charms.

Updated on September 4th, 2026, based on testing and community feedback on Diablo 4 S15 PTR!

Diablo 4 Season 15 Tier List - Best Class & Builds Ranking

Season 15 introduces a wave of new content and system reworks that will impact every build in the game. We're getting Soul Splinters (new socketable gems for jewelry), Challenge Dungeons that scale up to three Torment tiers above your current difficulty, Overland Ambushes, 10 Legacy Uniques pulled from Diablo 1, 2, and 3, a completely reworked Mythic crafting system, new Mythic and Unique Charms, and the long-awaited Rebirth feature that lets you convert Eternal characters to Seasonal.

The class balance changes tell a mixed story. Barbarians took nerfs but remain strong, Rogues stay largely untouched near the top, Warlocks receive massive buffs and become the biggest winner of the patch, while Druids, Necromancers, Paladins, and Sorcerers continue to struggle. Core stat scaling has been adjusted across most classes to help even out the damage gap between weapon-heavy classes and everyone else.

What's New in Season 15

Major System Additions

  • Soul Splinters – New socketable gems for jewelry with powerful bonuses (and real penalties).

  • Challenge Dungeons that scale up to three Torment tiers above your current difficulty.

  • Overland Ambushes for open-world action.

  • 10 Legacy Uniques pulled from Diablo 1, 2, and 3.

  • Reworked Mythic crafting system with 1:1 Horadric Cube upgrades.

  • New Mythic and Unique Charms, including a Mythic version of the Idol Charm.

  • Rebirth feature for converting Eternal characters to Seasonal.

The Power Creep Math

Testing on the PTR confirms a ~4.2x total power gain for most builds when factoring in:

  • Soul Splinter buffs (1.5x for DoT/crit builds, 1.5x from monster kill splinters, 1.35x from crit/attack speed combo)

  • Mythic Charm buff (~1.27x)

  • Legacy Uniques (~1.1x)

  • Core main stat scaling (roughly 1.24x for most classes)

Even without direct buffs to existing builds, everything will scale up substantially, and stuff that was not quite good enough for Torment 12 will now clear it comfortably.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Best Class Tier List

Now that we've covered the overall picture, let's move on to the class tier list and see which classes are winners and losers in Season 15 with the balance changes in the 3.2 patch.

1. Barbarian (S Tier)

Barbarian is once again at the very top despite taking noticeable nerfs to Strength scaling and Ramaladni's Magnum Opus. The class remains OP with many weapons, huge tankiness, and a wider selection of viable builds than ever before. Core skills and Weapon Mastery skills are joining the party alongside Whirlwind, giving you real options instead of forcing you into one meta build. If you want to press one button and destroy everything, Barb is still the class to play.

Barb Changes in Season 15:

  • Strength scaling reduced from 1.1% to 0.8% damage per 10 Strength (roughly 21% damage loss at 3k Strength).

  • Ramaladni's now drains 10% max Fury per second instead of 10 flat (kills static builds, though solvable with 50%+ resource generation on rings/helm).

  • Melted Heart of Selig buffed to 200% (immortal Barb still viable).

  • Ancient shouts like War Cry nerfed.

  • Ravenous Ring heavily nerfed (Rend Leap builds hit hard).

  • Ring of Red Furor now enables 100% crit chance on Core and Weapon Mastery skills.

  • HotA gets a comeback thanks to Furor + Expectant aspect (160x) + new synergies.

Best Barb Builds in Season 15:

  • Charge Barbarian (still the best pusher, easy 150)

  • Whirlwind Barbarian (best farming, immortal setup still strong)

  • Self-Cast Fire Rend Barbarian (new ranged variant)

  • Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian (comeback candidate)

  • Bash Barbarian

  • Death Blow Barbarian (Frenzy Amulet buffed + set buffs)

2. Rogue (S Tier)

Rogue continues to reign supreme in Season 15. It's already the most well-balanced class in the game with an incredible range of viable builds, and the developers left it largely alone in the patch notes. With Barbarian taking hits and Rogue receiving small quality-of-life buffs to combo point cycling, Rogue is quietly cementing itself as the top choice. If you don't know what to play, roll a Rogue and you can swap builds every day without ever feeling weak.

Rogue Changes in Season 15:

  • Combo point cycle reversed from 3-to-1 to 1-to-3, improving flow on multiple builds.

  • No meaningful nerfs to any core build.

  • Azurewrath nerfed to single-target only, which hits Freeze Rain of Arrows builds specifically.

  • Grenade skills received large buffs (though still clunky in practice)

Best Rogue Builds in Season 15:

  • Poison Pen Shot Rogue (x2 from new Hellfire Splinter, top-tier pusher)

  • Poison Rain of Arrows Rogue

  • Dance of Knives Poison Rogue

  • Heartseeker Rogue

  • Death Trap Rogue (no longer bugged but still viable)

  • Twisting Blade Rogue (freshly buffed)

3. Warlock (S Tier)

Warlocks got the biggest patch notes of any class, and it's almost entirely buffs. The clunkiness and mobility issues that held Warlock back are being addressed head-on with new "cast while moving" functionality on skills like Dark Prison and Bombardment. Multiple builds are hitting 150 comfortably on the PTR, some with two-minute clears. This is the real Warlock season.

Warlock Changes in Season 15:

  • Dark Prison, Bombardment, and Spear of Chaos can now be cast while moving.

  • New Anathema of the Prime set enables perma-leap Rampage speed farming.

  • Hellhound Sabatons buffed so your Abaddon fiend automatically casts equipped Hellfire skills.

  • Improved Dominance generation through new means, including a new glyph.

  • Numerous quality-of-life fixes across the class.

Best Warlock Builds in Season 15:

  • Blazing Scream Warlock (200+ Q DPS, the highest DPS build)

  • Apocalypse Warlock (insane 1-shot potential)

  • Perma-Leap Rampage Warlock (rivals Barbarian for speed farming)

  • Hellhound Abaddon Warlock (100+ trillion damage, one-button playstyle)

  • Lunatic Warlock (infinite Wrath on PTR)

  • Minion Warlock with Aggramoth (still unkillable, pushes 135+)

4. Spiritborn (A Tier)

Spiritborn is in a strange spot. Counterattack Swarm got its damage halved, but the new Swarm of Storms paragon board opens up multiple new build paths. The Tzic rune bug (free x500% damage) reportedly still exists on the PTR, and if it survives to live, Spiritborn will remain a monster. Poison Swarm builds are already hitting Pit 150 in seven-minute clears during PTR testing.

Spiritborn Changes in Season 15:

  • Counterattack Swarm base damage reduced by 50% (still x2 from DoT splinter).

  • New Swarm of Storms paragon board gives 80% multiplicative damage to Pestilent Swarm and Spirit Storm skills.

  • Spirit Storm damage doubled.

  • Storm Feather damage buffed by 150% on the new board.

  • Talon glyph crit damage buffed from 15% to 25%.

  • Aspect of Heavenly Strength now equippable by Spiritborn (nerfed but usable).

  • Withering Fist gets a triple damage buff.

  • Rock Splitter and Thunder Spike basic skills buffed.

Best Spiritborn Builds in Season 15:

  • Poison Swarm Spiritborn (still absurd, did Pit 150 in 7 minutes)

  • Stinger Spiritborn (great for leveling, scales hard with Potent Sting)

  • Quill Volley Spiritborn

  • Firestorm Evade Spiritborn

  • Storm Feather Evade Spiritborn

  • Crushing Hands Spiritborn

5. Sorcerer (B Tier)

Sorcerers are in a much better spot for general Torment 12 play thanks to the season theme lifting weaker builds into viability. A few builds got targeted buffs, but class-wide issues weren't addressed. Firewall got hit hard and now only works with Pyromancy skills, though it still tops the push rankings for the class. If you enjoy Sorc, there are more playable options than ever, just don't expect to reach Warlock-tier push numbers.

Sorc Changes in Season 15:

  • Frozen Orb (fire version) buffed.

  • Cold Fireball buffed.

  • Ball Lightning buffed and can be cast while moving again (much weaker overall).

  • Ice Spikes buffed heavily across the board.

  • Firewall nerfed hard (Pyromancy skills only).

  • Meteor Helm buff + Paragon and Heat set buffs.

Best Sorc Builds in Season 15:

  • Firewall DoT Sorcerer (still OP with x2 Hellfire Splinter)

  • Ball Lightning Sorcerer

  • Frozen Orb Sorcerer

  • Cold Fireball Sorcerer

  • Meteor Sorcerer

  • Blizzard Sorcerer

  • Chain Lightning Sorcerer

6. Necromancer (B- Tier)

Necromancer received some buffs and now has a shadow DoT direction that looks promising with the new Hellfire Splinter, but the class still has real problems. Poor survivability from having defensive slots taken by offensive uniques, sluggish mobility, and clunky gameplay all remain unaddressed. Blood Wave stays the safest pick, and Shadow DoT can push around 145. Toughness feels better because of the season theme, but otherwise not much improvement.

Necro Changes in Season 15:

  • Small buffs to Blight and Grim Harvest.

  • Soul Rift buffed (~50x multiplier).

  • Bone Buffs (Bone Spear, Bone Spirit).

  • No fixes to mobility or the "stuck on every rock" issue.

  • Survivability problems remain unaddressed

Best Necro Builds in Season 15:

  • Shadow DoT Necromancer (new direction, ~145 potential)

  • Blood Wave Necromancer (still the safest choice)

  • Minion Necromancer

  • Bone Spear Necromancer

  • Bone Spirit Necromancer

  • Golem Summoner Necromancer

  • Blood Surge Necromancer

7. Paladin (C+ Tier)

Paladins received surprisingly few changes considering how many issues plague the class. The sets still hold Paladins back, and bug fixes players were hoping for simply didn't arrive. Massive single-target Judgment buffs may revive that build, but the general lack of skill rank scaling on many mechanics means charms give you far less value than on other classes. The class is mostly the same as Season 13 and 14.

Paladin Changes in Season 15:

  • Fist of the Heavens buffed.

  • Judgment stacking changes with heavy single-target buffs.

  • Oath buff (+30% damage) applies to Hammerdin and Zeal.

  • Trumpet Ring buffed for Judgment.

  • Radiant Fire set changed to 20 stacks (still not smooth).

  • Righteous Will set remains boss-only in practice.

  • Resolve is now capped for Clash builds.

  • Aura Potency stat still undertuned and buggy

Best Paladin Builds for Season 15:

  • Wing Strike Paladin (more base Wing damage + Oath buff + Defiance)

  • Zeal Paladin (Oath and sword buffs)

  • Judgment Paladin (potential revival)

  • Hammerdin

  • Divine Lance Paladin

  • Thorns Paladin (Shield buffed)

8. Druid (C- Tier)

Druids took some heavy hits. Might of the Design got nerfed, the Resolve stacking ring for Werewolf is down, and Storm Shepherd set was gutted from a 1.2 million% multiplier down to just 80%. The one bright spot is the new Rabies DoT direction that leans on Deadly Strike as a crit-for-DoT enabler, but it's not enough to save the class. Unless we see big last-minute buffs, stay away from Druid this season.

Druid Changes in Season 15:

  • Storm Shepherd set nuked (no more stacking or self-multiplying).

  • Werewolf Resolve stacking ring nerfed.

  • Storm Wolf nerfed.

  • Bear Companion nerfed but still workable (250x paragon multiplier on 5-piece set).

  • Claw, Tornado, and Grizzly Rage received small buffs.

  • Storm Strike received minor buffs.

  • Perma-Dash Wolf set nerfed

Best Druid Builds in Season 15:

  • Rabies DoT Druid (new direction, ~145 potential)

  • Shred Druid (many snapshots fixed but still powerful)

  • Lightning Storm Druid (great AoE for leveling and endgame)

  • Werenado Druid

  • Bear Companion Druid

  • Landslide Druid (Earth focus, decent AoE)

  • Boulder Druid

To help you take a quick view, we sort out the table below rating all 8 classes across 10 categories on a 5-star scale, so you can quickly see how each class performs in the areas that matter most to your playstyle.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Best Build Tier List for Leveling & Endgame

Based on PTR testing data from pro players such as Rob2628 and community theorycrafters, here is the overall build power ranking across all classes.

1. Blazing Scream Warlock (S Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Blazing Scream is the highest DPS build in the entire game right now, easily topping 200Q+ DPS on the PTR. You send out evil laughing demonic skulls that bounce off walls and spit little baby demon versions of themselves, which count as enemy deaths for triggering the Black Soulstone splinter and On-Kill effects. The new Elegy weapon adds the Archfiend tag to Blazing Scream, opening up Infernal Homunculus for a huge damage multiplier plus free lesser demon upgrades. Moloch's Beating Flame amulet acts as a multiplier for every skill on your bar, and both manual-cast and Hellhound Sabatons auto-cast variants are viable. This is the go-to pick for pushing Pit 150 and topping tower leaderboards.

2. Apocalypse Warlock (S Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Apocalypse Warlock keeps its status as one of the biggest one-shot builds in the game thanks to the new Overwhelming aspect that stacks with your Overpower stacks. Every fragment the class uses received buffs, and the animation clunkiness of previous seasons is mostly gone. The build blows up the entire screen with insane hits, though it's a bit slow for speed farming compared to Blazing Scream or Hellhound Abaddon. If you enjoy screen-nuking gameplay and want to feel like a walking apocalypse, this is your build.

3. Poison Swarm Spiritborn (S Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Poison Swarm Spiritborn is still absurd on the PTR, clearing Pit 150 in seven-minute runs. The Tzic rune bug that grants a free x500% damage multiplier is reportedly still active, and the new DoT splinter gives every damage over time build an additional x2 multiplier. Even with the 50% base damage nerf to Counterattack Swarm, this build remains one of the strongest pushers in the game. Poison scales hard with the new Hellfire Splinter, and the class also picks up Withering Fist and other basic skill options for extra flexibility.

4. Poison Pen Shot Rogue (S Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Poison Pen Shot Rogue is a top-tier pusher thanks to the x2 multiplier from the new Hellfire Splinter combined with Poison Embodiment and the massive poison damage stacking rogues get on the Paragon boards. Testers were already clearing Pit 145 with average gear on the PTR, and there's a lot of headroom left for min-maxing. The build has great AoE coverage, solid single-target from poison DoT ramp, and it fits the standard rogue mobility toolkit with Dash and Shadow Step.

5. Charge Barbarian (S Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Charge Barbarian remains the king of pushing on the class, comfortably hitting Pit 150 with the x2 multiplier from the new Hellfire Splinter. Even with the Strength scaling nerf and Ramaladni's Magnum Opus rework, the build has enough raw power and defensive layering to keep dominating leaderboards. Flame Charge is the go-to variant for endgame, offering huge single-target damage and reliable AoE from charge repositioning. Solo-cast play is straightforward, and the build stays extremely tanky throughout the entire progression.

6. Firewall DoT Sorcerer (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Firewall DoT Sorcerer is still OP despite the nerfs to Pyromancy-only functionality, thanks to the x2 multiplier from the new Hellfire Splinter and the buffs to the Fire set, Paragon, and Heat set bonuses. The build has a slight ramp-up time, but once your DoT ticks are rolling, everything melts. It's the top pusher for Sorcerer by a wide margin and one of the few Sorc builds that still competes with the top Warlock, Rogue, and Barb builds.

7. Whirlwind Barbarian (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Whirlwind Barbarian is still the best farming build on the class, and the Melted Heart of Selig buff to 200% keeps the immortal setup viable. Ramaladni's Magnum Opus fury drain change is the biggest hurdle, but it can be solved with 50%+ resource generation on rings and helm. Once you have that dialed in, you spin, ride the tornado, and everything dies. Great for T12 farming, Undercity, Helltide, and Pit clears in the 145 range.

8. HotA Barbarian (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian is making a real comeback in Season 15 thanks to the Ring of Red Furor buff (100% crit chance on Core and Weapon Mastery skills) combined with the massively buffed Expectant aspect at 160x. The synergy lets you cycle a generator, then a huge HotA slam, then a generator, and repeat. You also get Quake size increases as you get bigger, making the build both visually satisfying and mechanically strong. Solid B+ pusher and a fun alternative to Charge for HotA fans.

9. Rend Self-Cast Barbarian (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rend Self-Cast Barbarian is a new ranged variant that emerged from the Ravenous Ring nerf. Fire Rend was changed to work well with the new Hellfire Splinter for x2 damage, and testers were clearing Pit 130 in under two minutes on the PTR. The semi-ranged playstyle is a refreshing change from the usual melee Barb feel, and bosses melt from the DoT ramping. Great choice if you want a Barb that doesn't require you to sit in the middle of every pack.

10. Poison Rain of Arrows Rogue (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Freeze Rain of Arrows is dead thanks to the Azurewrath single-target nerf, but the poison variant is thriving. The build gets the x2 Hellfire Splinter multiplier and stacks poison DoT scaling from Rogue's excellent Paragon options. Great AoE coverage, solid single-target burst, and one of the smoothest playstyles in the whole game. Rain of Arrows rogues consistently topped leaderboards in Season 14, and the poison version continues that legacy.

11. Dance of Knives / God Rogue (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dance of Knives / God Rogue is a spin-to-win build that reminds many players of the Diablo 3 God Demon Hunter. You use Dance of Knives just like strafing in D3, spinning forward automatically while your Heartseeker fires off through the Nirre's Bracers set. Combined with Pain Gorgers, Gladiator's Triumph, Ednas, and Shawl of Raphael, the build reaches 100% crit chance and stacks huge crit damage almost all the time. Flies through maps in 90 seconds and destroys T12 bosses in seconds. Pushes into 130-145 range and is one of the best all-rounders in the game.

12. Shadow DoT Necromancer (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Shadow DoT Necromancer is a new direction for the class enabled by the Fist of Fate rework and the new DoT gem giving x2 damage. Testers are clearing Pit 145 with average gear on the PTR, and the build stacks Shadow damage and damage over time through Lyric's Crown and various on-death effects. Blood Wave is still safer, but Shadow DoT has more ceiling and more room to grow with itemization.

13. Lunatic Warlock (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Lunatic Warlock is running around with infinite Wrath on the PTR thanks to a bugged interaction with Melted Heart of Selig. Even if that gets fixed, more Dominance scaling in Paragon and a new glyph make the build a legitimate contender. Extremely high burst potential, good AoE coverage, and it works with the general Warlock buff package that carries the whole class this season.

14. Hellhound Abaddon Warlock (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hellhound Abaddon Warlock is the ultimate one-button speed farmer, hitting 100+ trillion damage per swing with a single button press. The Hellhound Sabatons periodically trigger all your equipped Hellfire skills while riding, so you literally just mount up and everything dies. Insane mobility, great visual clarity, and Pit 120-130 clears in a minute flat. This is arguably the best speed farmer in the entire game and will be many players' T12 farming build of choice.

15. Hell Fracture / Susanoo Warlock (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hell Fracture Warlock (also called the Susanoo build for the giant sword-swinging demon on your back) is another one-button build that beats out Blazing Scream for pure speed farming. The Spine of Tathmet weapon triples Hell Fracture damage every third cast, and In-Geom keeps your Abaddon summon on 100% uptime. Pit 120 breezes by with average gear, and the build even hits targets behind you. Ideal for helltide, undercity, and infernal hordes farming.

16. Tyrant's Grasp Warlock (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Tyrant's Grasp Warlock clears Pit 145 without needing any specific fragment interactions, making it one of the more consistent Warlock builds. The class-wide buffs to Dominance generation, cast-while-moving skills, and demon summoning all help this build shine. Good option for players who like the Warlock feel but don't want to rely on the more experimental Blazing Scream or Apocalypse setups.

17. Rabies Druid (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rabies Druid is the one bright spot for Druid this season. It's a DoT build that gets doubled by the new Hellfire Splinter and uses the Deadly Strike aspect to make DoTs crit, effectively working as a crit-scaling build without needing traditional crit. Might of the Ursine, Furnace, and Blood Mad Idol charms all provide massive damage multipliers, and testers expect the build to reach Pit 145 with more tuning. The rest of Druid is in rough shape, but Rabies is worth checking out.

18. Landslide Druid (A Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Landslide Druid becomes competitive once the Earth set bugs get fixed. The Earth focus offers decent AoE and reasonable single-target, and the Paragon boards for Druid still have strong Earth scaling nodes. It's not the top Druid build until the fixes hit, but it's the most likely candidate for a mid-season buff to A tier.

19. Shred Druid (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Shred Druid had many of its snapshot mechanics fixed but is still powerful in raw damage. The build got hit by the Storm Shepherd set nerf and Might of the Design nerf, so it's not the powerhouse it once was, but it remains the best crit-based Druid build for pushing. Great mobility and consistent single-target damage.

20. Ancient Singer "Bro" Barbarian (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ancient Singer Barbarian took nerfs to War Cry and ancient shouts, dropping to around a Pit 130 clear. Still a fun build with a distinct identity, but no longer competitive with Charge, Whirlwind, or HotA for top-end push.

21. Lightning Storm Druid (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lightning Storm Druid remains a strong choice for both leveling and endgame farming. Great AoE that follows you around, solid single-target, and easy to gear up. This is your safest Druid pick if Rabies and Landslide aren't your style.

22. Werenado Druid (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Werenado Druid is missing the lightning tag but still functions nicely. The Storm Wolf nerf and Perma-Dash Wolf set changes hurt, but the tornado core damage is enough to clear T12 comfortably. Good farming option with decent single-target on bosses.

23. Bear Companion Druid (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bear Companion Druid was nerfed but the 250x Paragon multiplier on the 5-piece set keeps it viable. Great for players who love the companion playstyle and want a chill, hands-off build. Not a top pusher but perfectly serviceable for T12 farming.

24. Stinger Spiritborn (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Stinger Spiritborn is one of the fastest leveling builds in the game, scaling hard with Potent Sting throughout progression. Toxic Skin plus Stinger delivers sub-one-hour leveling on the S15 PTR, and the build transitions cleanly into T12 endgame. Perfect starter Spiritborn for players who want to hit endgame fast.

25. Quill Volley Spiritborn (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Quill Volley Spiritborn is always solid regardless of season. Great ranged AoE coverage, consistent damage output, and works well with the Swarm of Storms Paragon board buffs even though it doesn't use them directly. Reliable T12 farming pick.

26. Blood Wave Necromancer (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Blood Wave Necromancer has lost some of its OP scaling but remains the safest Necromancer pick this season. Big burst damage, small AoE, and excellent bossing potential. Toughness feels better thanks to the season theme, though the class still has mobility issues.

27. Meteor Sorcerer (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Meteor Sorcerer got helm buffs, Paragon buffs, and Heat set buffs, pushing it into legitimate T12 viability. Not a top pusher, but a fun build with satisfying visual feedback and consistent damage output. Good pick if you're bored of Firewall.

28. Dance of Knives Poison Rogue (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dance of Knives Poison Rogue delivers insane poison damage combined with the spin-to-win playstyle. Different from the God Rogue variant since it's poison-focused rather than cold. Great pick for players who want the DoK feel with maximum damage output.

29. Death Trap Rogue (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Death Trap Rogue is no longer bugged but still deals solid damage. Some hardcore players will want to skip this one since Death Trap can go through block, but overall it's a fun single-target burst build for players who like the trap playstyle.

30. Twisting Blade Rogue (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Twisting Blade Rogue was freshly buffed in Season 15 and reclaims its spot as a legitimate T12 farming pick. Great mobility from the blade return teleport, solid AoE from Rapid Fire aspect, and it works with the standard rogue poison scaling package.

31. Wing Strike Paladin (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wing Strike Paladin got more base Wing damage plus the Oath buff plus Defiance interactions. It's now the best pusher on Paladin, though the class as a whole is still holding back. Playable and fun if you enjoy the archangel wing aesthetic.

32. Zeal Paladin (B Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Zeal Paladin picks up the Oath buff and sword buffs, keeping it as one of the more reliable Paladin options. Simple playstyle (hold right click and move forward), tanky, and works great with the standard Paladin defense package. Great pick for players who want a chill, hands-off Paladin experience.

33. Base Apocalypse Warlock (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

The base version (without the newer Overwhelming aspect stacking) still feels the OP nerfs from previous seasons. Small buffs from the PTR help, but it's clearly the weaker version of Apocalypse now.

34. Dread Claw Warlock (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Dread Claw Warlock is a great leveling pick with a few small buffs to the Shadow Set. It applies vulnerability naturally, which makes it perfect as a starter build before you have access to your endgame vulnerability sources.

35. Golem Summoner Necromancer (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Golem Summoner Necro remains playable but nothing special. Fine if you love the golem playstyle, but expect to sit in the 135 pit range.

36. Bone Spirit / Bone Spear Necromancer (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Bone builds picked up small buffs but nothing that lifts them into the top tiers. Both are playable and fun, and either can clear T12 with proper gear.

37. Death Blow Barbarian (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Death Blow Barbarian benefits from the Frenzy Amulet buff and set changes. It's a solid single-target burst build but doesn't have the AoE or push potential of the top Barb options.

38. Double Swing Barbarian (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Double Swing Barbarian with Twister feels solid but never quite reaches the top. Fine for casual play, especially for players who love the two-weapon barb aesthetic.

39. Ball Lightning Sorcerer (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Ball Lightning Sorcerer got buffed and can be cast while moving again, but the overall damage is much weaker than in previous seasons. Playable T12 build with a fun casting rhythm.

40. Fireball Sorcerer (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Fireball Sorcerer picked up staff buffs, Fire set buffs, and Paragon buffs. Not a top pusher but a fun classic Sorc feel with respectable damage.

41. Blizzard Sorcerer (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Blizzard Sorcerer benefits from good Freeze Ring scaling and remains a chill farming option. Doesn't push high but feels smooth to play.

42. Hammerdin (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hammerdin gets 30% more damage from the Oath buff, which puts it right at the edge of being a real pusher. Great for leveling and mid-game progression, and it's one of the most iconic Paladin builds in the entire franchise.

43. Divine Lance Paladin (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Divine Lance Paladin plays like a "drill baby drill" ranged build. Fun playstyle, decent damage, but not top-tier competitive.

44. Clash Paladin (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Clash Paladin got hit by the Resolve cap, which significantly reduces its ceiling. Still viable but nowhere near what it was in earlier seasons.

45. Judgment Paladin (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Judgment Paladin has potential thanks to the Oath buff and Trumpet Ring buffs, but the class-wide lack of skill rank scaling on Judgment mechanics limits how much value you get from your charms. Might be the sleeper Paladin pick this season if the numbers land right.

46. Thorns Paladin (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thorns Paladin gets the Shield buff and scales with your level rather than requiring specific gear. Great for leveling and easy T12 farming since you barely have to press any buttons.

47. Crushing Hands Spiritborn (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

The ape always smashes. Crushing Hands is a fun melee Spiritborn option with reliable damage and satisfying feedback, though it's outclassed by Poison Swarm and Stinger for pushing.

48. Rake Spiritborn (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Rake Spiritborn is a fun claw-based build that plays similar to Shred Druid but with the Spiritborn kit. Fine for T12 farming, not competitive for pushing.

49. Bomberman Abaddon Warlock (C Tier)

  • Leveling: ⭐⭐

  • Endgame: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Speedfarming: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Tower Push: ⭐⭐

  • Bossing: ⭐⭐⭐

  • Hardcore: ⭐⭐⭐

Bomberman Abaddon uses Bridle of Tor Belos to auto-detonate brimstones through Molten Bomb. It maxes out around Pit 123 due to the complex brimstone mechanics and stacking limits. Good T12 farming build for players who love the brimstone theme, but not competitive for push.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Class Balance Winners and Losers

Winners

  • Warlock - The biggest winner. Most buffs, less clunky gameplay, cast-while-moving on multiple skills. Top potential builds: Apocalypse, Blazing Scream, Lunatic.

  • Rogue - Already doing 150 and only got buffs. Poison RoA and Poison Pen Shot leap ahead; Azurewrath nerf hurts Freeze RoA.

Middle

  • Barbarian - Still one of the stronger classes despite many nerfs. Charge for pushing, Whirlwind for farming, HotA now playable.

  • Sorcerer - Top Fire build (GIGA nerfed) still gets Splinter buffs. Firewall keeps more buffs than nerfs on net.

  • Spiritborn - Tzic Rune still bugged for free x500%, but Swarm nerfed by 50% (offset by DoT Shard x2).

Losers

  • Necromancer - Buffed but not enough. Blood Wave and Minions remain the go-to.

  • Paladin - Nice Judgment buffs but not enough overall. Judgment may be the sleeper pick with massive single-target buffs.

  • Druid - Storm Shepherd Set nerfed into the ground, Earth nerfed, Perma-Dash Wolf Set nerfed. Landslide and Earthspike are the survivors.

Season 15 is looking like a season of contrasts. On one hand, we have exciting new content with Challenge Dungeons, Overland Ambushes, 10 Legacy Uniques from previous Diablo titles, and long-awaited quality-of-life features like Rebirth and the Horadric Post. On the other hand, the class balance changes feel uneven, with Warlocks and Rogues pulling ahead while Necromancers, Sorcerers, and Spiritborn continue to struggle with unaddressed class-wide issues.

The Soul Splinter system will provide roughly a 2x power boost to most builds once you have the full set of high-tier gems socketed, which helps lift weaker builds into Torment 12 viability. The reworked Mythic crafting system with the 1:1 Horadric Cube upgrade is a welcome change, giving players real control over that one build-defining item.

With BlizzCon still to come on September 12th-13th, we can expect additional reveals before Season 15 goes live on September 15th. Personal speculation from the community suggests a potential mercenary rework may be on the way, given how some of the Legacy Uniques (like Nemesis Bracers) were traditionally used in Diablo 3 through mercenaries.

Get your builds ready, decide which class fits your playstyle, and prepare for one of the busiest loot pools Diablo 4 has ever seen. See you in Sanctuary.
