Season 15 of Diablo 4 is bringing one of the biggest item overhauls we've seen in a while. With the 3.2 PTR now running from August 4th to August 11th, Blizzard has revealed 10 legacy Uniques pulled directly from Diablo 1, 2, and 3, a completely reworked Mythic crafting system, new Mythic and Unique Charms, and a brand new socketable system called Soul Splinters. Best of all, these Legacy Uniques are permanent additions to the game, not just seasonal content.
Here is the full list of Diablo 4 Season 15 New Uniques & Mythics, covering effects, drop locations and farm tips!
Diablo 4 Season 15 New Uniques & Mythics
The item pool in Season 15 is getting busier than ever. Between 10 new Legacy Uniques, 16 new Unique Charms, Mythic-quality Charms, and the eight Soul Splinter variants, there's a massive expansion to what you can chase. On top of that, all former Iconic Mythics are getting regular Unique versions, meaning build-defining items like Melted Heart of Selig and Ring of Starless Skies will be much easier to obtain earlier in your character's progression.
The Mythic crafting system has been reworked to give players far more control, with a new 1:1 direct upgrade at the Horadric Cube replacing the old randomized system. Now let's look at the specific changes coming to both item categories.
Changes to Uniques and Mythics in Diablo 4 Season 15
Blizzard has reworked how you obtain and craft top-tier gear, and the changes give players far more control over their build-defining pieces.
Mythic Unique Crafting Changes
The methods to create Mythic Uniques remain the same, but the outcomes are far more deterministic in Season 15. There are two ways to craft Mythic Uniques:
Horadric Cube: Upgrade Direct Item to Mythic – A total 1:1 transfer. Put in an item with your ideal affixes, tempering, and masterworking already applied, and you get a Mythic version back with everything retained. The random factors are gone.
Jeweler: Rune Crafting > Mythic Uniques – Combines Resplendent Sparks and Runes. You pick a slot and get back a random class-specific Mythic Unique from that slot.
The only restriction on the Horadric Cube recipe is that you cannot use it on an Unmodifiable item, so be careful about Transfiguring your best Mythic candidates.
The New Crafted Tag System
Mythic Uniques created using the Horadric Cube Upgrade Direct recipe will carry a Crafted tag. You can only equip one Crafted tag item at a time. However, Mythics made through the Jeweler or Blacksmith will not have this tag, so you can equip multiple Mythics as long as only one carries the Crafted tag.
Blacksmith Mythic Crafting Changes
The Blacksmith's Mythic Cache crafting recipe now drops either Mythic Uniques or Iconic Mythics valid for your class. None of these carry the Crafted tag, giving you a way to spend excess Sparks without needing Runes.
Unique Versions of Iconic Mythics
All Iconic Mythics will now also be available as regular Uniques. Build-defining items like Melted Heart of Selig, Ring of Starless Skies, and The Grandfather will be easier to obtain earlier, cutting down on time spent in transitional builds.
New Mythic and Unique Charms
The Talisman system is growing with new Mythic Unique Charms and 16 new Unique Charms. Eight of the ten Legacy Uniques will also have Charm versions. Mythic Charms roll at maximum values with buffed Unique properties, but there is no crafting method for them, they only drop.
Now that the changes are covered, let's take a look at the specific new Uniques being added in Season 15, starting with the ones that look most impactful.
Diablo 4 Season 15 New Uniques
Ten legacy Uniques are joining the game, drawn from Diablo 1, Diablo 2, and Diablo 3. Five are usable by all classes, and five are limited to specific classes. Here they are, ranked from the most build-defining down.
Leoric's Crown (Helm) – All Classes
Likely the most talked-about Legacy Unique, this helm is drawn from Diablo 3 and returns with a twist. The item counts as Jewelry and increases the effect of any gem socketed into the helm by 75-100%. Since it counts as Jewelry, it can also socket Soul Splinters, potentially doubling their effects. This could be absolutely broken for Spiritborn builds that stack multiplicative damage through gems.
Stone of Jordan (Ring) – All Classes
A Diablo 2 legend returns. Historically, this ring provided massive resource bonuses and elemental damage. Builds that stack primary resources, like certain Barbarian setups or Sorcerer Meteor builds using Esu's Heirloom, will benefit heavily if the Diablo 4 version maintains similar functionality.
The Furnace (2H Mace) – Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, Warlock
A powerful two-handed mace from Diablo 3 known for providing a substantial damage multiplier against elite enemies. If it retains that identity, it will be a top-tier weapon for boss killing and Challenge Dungeon pushing.
In-Geom (1H Sword) – Barbarian, Druid, Rogue, Necromancer, Paladin, Warlock
Another Diablo 3 classic that historically granted massive cooldown reduction after killing elites. Combined with Eldritch (the existing Diablo 4 version), this could enable near-permanent cooldown resets for builds heavily reliant on ability rotations.
Nemesis Bracers (Gloves) – All Classes
These gloves spawn an elite pack when you click on a shrine. Combined with Splinter of Damnation (which gives Monster Power stacks per elite kill), this creates a powerful farming loop for XP and loot.
Squirt's Blouse (Chest) – All Classes
Squirt's Necklace was folded into a chest piece rather than an amulet. In previous Diablo games, this item granted massive damage bonuses at full health. If it keeps similar mechanics, it's a strong choice for glass cannon builds.
Ring of Royal Grandeur (Ring) – All Classes
Historically, this ring reduced set piece requirements by one. Similar to how the Seal of Diamond Mines works in Diablo 4, this could let you achieve five-piece set bonuses with only four charms, opening up slots for Golden Epiphany builds with additional Unique Charms.
Messerschmidt's Reaver (2H Axe) – Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, Warlock
Coming in Season 15 but not testable on the PTR. Historically associated with execution effects, this could bring calling-strike style mechanics to Diablo 4.
Arioc's Needle (2H Polearm) – Barbarian, Druid, Spiritborn
A Diablo 2 unique that could see adjustments to fit modern itemization since many of its original stats (like Deadly Strike) don't exist in Diablo 4.
Henri's Perquisition (Offhand Focus) – Sorcerer, Necromancer, Warlock
An interesting Diablo 3 offhand that grants primary stat equal to up to 115% of your Dexterity. If it can be equipped alongside stat conversion effects, it could enable some wild multiplicative scaling.
Alongside these ten legacy pieces, 16 new Unique Charms are being added, based on current Uniques that didn't have charm versions yet. Eight of the ten legacy Uniques will also have Charms. Now let's move on to the new Mythic offerings.
Diablo 4 Season 15 New Mythics (Charms, Iconic Mythics)
The Mythic pool is expanding in two ways: existing Iconic Mythics get regular Unique versions, and Charms can now roll in Mythic quality. Here are the top picks going into Season 15.
1. Mythic Unique Charms (New Category)
Any Unique Charm in the game now has a low chance to drop as a Mythic. Properties roll at maximum value and the Unique property is heavily buffed. Because there's no crafting or target farming, landing one is a jackpot moment. These indirectly buff the Golden Epiphany seal, giving three-piece set builds far more power through charm slots.
2. Unique Versions of Iconic Mythics
Every Iconic Mythic (Melted Heart of Selig, Ring of Starless Skies, The Grandfather, Tyrael's Might, Doombringer, Andariel's Visage, Ahavarion, Harlequin Crest, etc.) is getting a regular Unique version. These will be weaker but far more common, letting you build a solid version of a Mythic build without waiting for the full Mythic drop. This is enormous for reducing the grind through transitional builds.
3. Crafted-Tag Mythic (Horadric Cube Direct Upgrade)
Not a new item, but the new crafting recipe effectively gives you one perfect, custom-built Mythic per character. You choose the exact base item, dial in the affixes, temper, and Masterwork it, then convert it 1:1 into Mythic form. This will likely be the single strongest item on every serious build going into Season 15.
4. Blacksmith Mythic Cache Rolls
The Mythic Cache recipe now rolls either Mythic Uniques or Iconic Mythics that are valid for your class. It's pure RNG with a very wide pool, but it gives you something to do with excess Sparks after you've locked in your Crafted Mythic.
With the new items covered, let's talk about how to actually get your hands on them.
How To Get Uniques in Diablo 4 Season 15
The legacy Uniques drop through normal gameplay just like any other Unique in the game. The best farm methods carry over from previous seasons:
Boss Ladder Runs: Duriel, Andariel, and the endgame bosses remain the primary Unique target-farming source. Legacy Uniques are added to the general Unique loot pools relevant to each boss tier.
Helltides and Overland Ambushes: The new Overland Ambush system spawns a demon that hunts you after a 30-second warning. These difficult encounters are expected to drop Uniques and Soul Splinters, giving you a reason to keep roaming outside dungeons.
Challenge Dungeons: New portals in the Overland lead to boss fights that scale up to three Torment tiers above your current difficulty. Higher difficulty means better rewards, likely including the new Uniques.
Class-Specific Farming: Because five of the ten legacy Uniques are class-restricted, running the correct boss on the correct class matters. Barbarians, Druids, and Spiritborn should prioritize polearm-heavy bosses for Arioc's Needle, while Sorc/Necro/Warlock should focus on focus-dropping bosses for Henri's Perquisition.
Unique Charms: The 16 new Charms and eight legacy Charms drop through Whisper caches, Blood Maiden, and the standard Talisman-drop activities from the previous seasons.
Blizzard has also confirmed that the seasonal mechanic (still being held back for BlizzCon) will likely tie into new farming loops, so expect additional farming methods to be revealed on September 12–13. Now let's cover how to secure your Mythics.
How To Get Mythics in Diablo 4 Season 15
Mythics are far more accessible in Season 15 thanks to the crafting rework and Unique versions of Iconic pieces. Here's every path.
1. Horadric Cube Direct Upgrade (Best for Perfect Rolls)
Take a Unique with ideal affixes, tempering, and masterworking, then use the "Upgrade Direct Item to Mythic" recipe. This is the most expensive method but gives a 1:1 conversion. The resulting item has the Crafted tag, and you can only equip one Crafted item at a time.
Do not use Transfigured items for this recipe - Unmodifiable items cannot be upgraded through the Cube.
2. Jeweler Rune Crafting → Mythic Uniques (Best for Slot Targeting)
At the Jeweler under Rune Crafting, spend Resplendent Sparks and Runes to craft a random class-specific Mythic Unique in your chosen slot. No Crafted tag, so you can equip multiple Mythics from this method.
3. Blacksmith Mythic Cache (Best for Spark Dumping)
The Blacksmith's Mythic Cache recipe now returns either a Mythic Unique or Iconic Mythic valid for your class. This is fully random but doesn't require Runes, making it the go-to option for burning excess Sparks.
4. How to Get Mythic Charms
Mythic Charms have no crafting method and cannot be target farmed. They drop as random rare occurrences from any Unique Charm source in the game. Simply farm content that drops Charms and hope for the low chance to roll a Mythic version. On the PTR, you can test them through the vendor Mrak.
5. Farming Resplendent Sparks
Resplendent Sparks are the currency that keeps this system moving. Efficient sources include Uber boss kills, salvaging duplicate Mythics, and completing seasonal milestones. Expect Season 15 to shift some of the Spark-generation loops away from repetitive boss farming, but we'll know more after BlizzCon.
