Where and How to Get Mythic Seals in Diablo 4 Season 13

Diablo 4 Season 13, paired with the Lord of Hatred expansion, introduces one of the most impactful endgame items in the new Talisman system: Mythic Seals. These rare, game-changing Haradric Seal variants break the standard rules of charm set bonuses, charm socket limits, and unique charm restrictions. This guide explores all methods and locations to get Mythic Seals in D4 Season 13 and Lord of Hatred.

Diablo 4 Mythic Seals Drop Rate & Farming Guide

Mythic Unique Horadric Seals are a Mythic-tier version of Horadric Seals, the core item that sits in the center of your Talisman system in Diablo 4. The Talisman is a long-term character customization feature added with Lord of Hatred, separate from temporary seasonal buffs, and it relies entirely on two core parts: Seals and Charms. Horadric Seals come in different rarities, and they control how many charm sockets you have available to equip regular, set, and unique charms. Mythic Seals are the highest rarity of Horadric Seals, marked with iconic purple Mythic item text and special Mythic-only modifiers. They roll fixed top-tier affixes and guaranteed maximum power values, also carry random secondary traits such as elemental resistance, critical chance bonuses, and set bonus synergies, just like standard Seals.

How Mythic Horadric Seals Work in Diablo 4 Season 13 LoH?

Mythic Unique Horadric Seal focuses entirely on changing and upgrading the Charm and Socket system. Every Horadric Seal controls your available charm slots and socket limits. It also comes with custom special rules that break the normal charm equipment restrictions. Some seals cap your total socket number but let you equip extra Unique Charms, while others cut down the charm count you need to activate Set bonuses or unlock extra charm slots with bonus stat affixes. All Mythic Unique Horadric Seals require Level 70 to use. A key trait of these seals is that some of their random affix rolls follow RNG, with fixed minimum and maximum value ranges. Also, all Mythic Uniques this season drop with perfect top-tier base rolls on their core power, making these seals stable and reliable once obtained.

List of Mythic Unique Horadric Seals in D4

1. Seal of the Diamond Mind

  • Required Level: 70

  • Core Effect: Lowers the number of Charms required to trigger Set bonuses by 1, and the minimum required number is capped at 2.

2. Seal of the Golden Epiphany

  • Core Effect: Limits your maximum Sockets to 4, but allows you to equip up to 3 Unique Charms (far more than the normal limit).

3. Seal of the Severed Finger

  • Required Level: 70

  • Unlocks 5 Charm Slots

  • +8.0% Resistance to All Elements (RNG roll range: 7.5% – 10.0%)

  • Cathan's Righteous Will: 9.0% Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies (RNG roll range: 7.0% – 10.0%)

  • Heaven's Radiant Fire: +9% Holy Damage (RNG roll range: 7% – 10%)

  • Special Restriction: Cannot have more than 5 Sockets total, but permits equipping 2 Unique Charms.

Where and How to Get Mythic Seals in D4 Season 13 & Lord of Hatred?

Mythic Seals are one of the rarest items in Diablo 4. They can drop from any content that spawns talisman items, and the more talisman items a source drops, the higher the chance of getting a Mythic Seal. Below are all confirmed farming methods to get each Mythic Unique Horadric Seal in D4 S13 & Lord of Hatred.

1. Echoing Hatred

Echoing Hatred is regarded as the best source for Mythic Seals in the game, with the highest overall drop potential among all farming methods. This is a late-game exclusive game mode that lets players fight continuous, increasingly difficult enemy waves. The core reward of this mode is a large number of goblin bags, which carry a solid chance to contain Mythic Seals. Unlike other sources, the massive volume of talisman items from goblin bags greatly boosts your odds of obtaining a rare seal.

The only downside is its extremely low accessibility. To enter Echoing Hatred, you need a Trace of Echoes item, which drops randomly from almost all in-game content with an ultra-low rate. Even high-level paragon players can only obtain a handful of this item in their entire playtime, so this method is not consistent.

2. Kurast Undercity Greater Tribute Runs

Kurast Undercity runs are the most practical and consistent way to farm Mythic Seals. By using a Greater Tribute of the Horadrim in the Kurast Undercity, the final chest of the dungeon will spawn a huge batch of talisman items, including a chance for Mythic Seals. To maximize loot output, you need specific War Plan point allocation: unlock the Gutter Filth node. This node gives a chance for Prankster Goblins to spawn every time you activate a beacon in the Undercity. You should activate all beacons in the dungeon to trigger more Prankster Goblin spawns. Each killed Prankster Goblin adds one full chest’s worth of loot to your final reward, drastically increasing the number of talisman drops and Mythic Seal odds.

You can obtain Greater Tribute of the Horadrim in two ways. First, they drop from World Bosses, Pit Bosses, dungeon key Whisper Caches, and Astaroth in Escalating Nightmare Dungeons. Second, you can craft them via the Horadric Cube: combine 5 Tributes of the Horadrim to make one Greater Tribute.

3. Infernal Hordes

Infernal Hordes is another reliable method to get Mythic Seals with two effective loot sources, and you can boost its efficiency with targeted War Plan upgrades. This method offers steady talisman drops and is far more accessible than Echoing Hatred and Uber Mephisto runs. First, collect 666 Aether during the Infernal Hordes run to summon and fight the end boss Bartuc. Bartuc drops a large quantity of talisman items, which have a chance to include Mythic Seals. You can unlock the Exalted Council War Plan node to increase the item drop amount for better odds. Second, unlock the Council Offers War Plan node to spawn a special talisman chest at the end of the run. This chest costs 100 Aether to open and contains plenty of seals and charms. Avoid the optional expensive Infernal Hordes node.

There are two versions of Infernal Hordes runs: the standard 6-round run via War Plan teleport, and the 10-round run using Infernal Hordes Compasses. Compasses mainly drop from Escalating Nightmare Dungeons and Astaroth, offering more waves and more loot chances.

4. Torment 10+ Mephisto Runs

Mephisto, Lord of Hatred, is officially marked as a source of Mythic Unique items and Mythic Seals. You can challenge Mephisto on Torment 10 and higher difficulties by using the Crux of the False Prophet Lair key. The Crux of the False Prophet is easier to obtain than Trace of Echoes but still quite rare. It drops randomly from global content, and a small number can be obtained from Season Journey objectives. However, the Mythic Seal drop rate from Mephisto is surprisingly low. Many players report running 20 to 50 Torment 12 Mephisto runs without getting a single Mythic Seal. This is a valid supplementary source for players who regularly clear Uber boss content.

5. Torment 10+ Helltide Events

Helltide events are the most low-barrier method to farm Mythic Seals, suitable for all endgame players. All Helltide chests on Torment 10+ have a chance to drop Mythic Seals, and the drop chance scales with the number of Aberrant Cinders needed to open the chest. The Tortured Gifts of Mysteries, which costs 250 Aberrant Cinders to unlock, has the highest Mythic Seal drop chance among all Helltide chests. You can further boost your farming efficiency with two key War Plan nodes. The Hell's Prize node spawns an extra 666 Aberrant Cinders chest in the Helltide zone, which you can locate directly on the map. The Meat Brothers node replaces regular Hellborne enemies with two Butchers, which frequently drop Profane Mindcages. You can stack up to three Profane Mindcage buffs to raise outdoor mob and boss levels, increasing overall item drop quantity and Mythic Seal chances during Helltide farming.

6. War Plan Rewards

You can farm Mythic Seals directly from War Plan rewards by optimizing your activity selection. War Plan rewards can spawn talisman items of different quality tiers, including rare Mythic-tier ones. Before starting any War Plan activity, reset your War Plan repeatedly to hunt for rewards with talisman item drops. Higher-quality talisman rewards mean higher Mythic Seal chances, and the top-tier reward is Mythic quality, marked by a purple background on the War Plan interface. Mythic-quality War Plan rewards are extremely rare, but this is a passive and free method to get an extra chance at Mythic Seals while completing routine War Plan content.

7. World Boss Kills

Open-world bosses are a verified rare drop source for Mythic Seals. Many players have obtained their first Mythic Seal purely from defeating regular endgame World Bosses on Torment 10+ difficulty, with no extra dungeon or boss run requirements.

8. Lair Boss & Nemesis Portal Runs (T10-T12)

Standard Lair Bosses on high Torment difficulties can drop Mythic Seals. Multiple players report looting Mythic Seals from regular Lair Boss kills and final Lair chests in T12 content. Clearing Nemesis Portals after Lair Boss fights further raises the chance, as these portals spawn upgraded loot pools with more talisman items.

9. Treasure Breach Nightmare Dungeons

T10+ Treasure Breach variant Nightmare Dungeons are a special verified source. Players have confirmed obtaining Mythic Seals from Treasure Goblins and final dungeon chests in this specific NMD variant, adding another low-effort casual farming option for endgame players.

However, none of the above methods guarantees a Mythic Seal drop. But continuous farming of these sources will eventually let you obtain a Mythic Seal through sustained runs.

D4 Season 13 LoH Mythic Seals Drop Rate

Diablo 4 Mythic Seals are far rarer than regular Mythic Uniques in Season 13 & Lord of Hatred. Their drop is heavily dependent on content type and luck.

Difficulty Scaling Base Rate

Drop odds scale upward with higher Torment tiers after unlocking Torment 10:

  • Torment 10: Minimum unlock threshold for all Mythic Seal drops, with baseline low drop rates

  • Torment 12: Community-verified noticeable improvement in talisman drop quantity and Mythic Seal RNG odds, the most popular farming tier for endgame players

  • Pit Tier 90+ (Torment 11): Slightly higher base drop chance than regular Torment 10 open-world and dungeon content

Content-Specific Drop Odds

  • Echoing Hatred: Echoing Hatred features the highest per-run Mythic Seal drop potential, thanks to massive talisman and goblin bag loot. Mythic Seals drop directly from its goblin loot bags. Its drop ceiling is the highest in the game, though ultra-rare Trace of Echoes entry items make it hard for consistent farming.

  • Kurast Undercity Greater Tribute Runs: Undercity Greater Tribute runs offer the most reliable repeatable Mythic Seal drops. Activating all beacons and killing Prankster Goblins stacks bonus treasure chests, drastically boosting talisman drop volume and overall RNG chances. This method has the highest consistent drop rate among farmable content, with potential for multiple Mythic Seal drops per max-loot run.

  • Infernal Hordes: With optimal War Plan node investment (Exalted Council + Council Coffers), Bartuc kills, and exclusive talisman chests provide steady mid-tier Mythic Seal odds. Its drop rate is inferior to Undercity runs but significantly better than Uber Mephisto and general open-world content.

  • Torment 10+ Mephisto Runs: Despite official labeling as a Mythic Seal source, community data confirms extremely low drop odds. Most players complete 20–50 Torment 12 Uber Mephisto runs without a single Mythic Seal drop.

  • Helltide Events & General Casual Endgame Content: Among casual open-world content, the 250-Aberrant Cinder Helltide Chest of Mysteries has the best Mythic Seal odds. All other casual content (Nightmare Dungeons, Pit Runs, World Bosses, Whisper Caches, standard Lair Bosses) holds very low pure RNG drop rates with extremely inconsistent procs.

  • War Plan Rewards & Special Verified Drops: Talisman-focused War Plan rewards, War Plan final chests, Treasure Breach Nightmare Dungeons, and max-stack Nemesis Portals carry minor, low-tier Mythic Seal drop chances.

Player Community Real-World Rarity

  • Many veteran players reach Paragon 200–250+, own dozens of regular Mythic Uniques, farm dozens of Mephisto runs and countless endgame rounds, and still never loot a single Mythic Seal.

  • RNG disparity is extreme: some players obtain a Mythic Seal accidentally in early targeted farming, while dedicated high-paragon players get no drops after hundreds of endgame runs.

  • Successful Mythic Seal drops almost exclusively come from targeted high-talisman farm content (Undercity, Echoing Hatred, Infernal Hordes) instead of random casual open-world play.

  • High-stack loot content (maxed Undercity Prankster bonus chests, high-tier Nemesis Portals, full-wave Infernal Hordes) is the only scenario where multiple Mythic Seals can drop in one run.
