With Arc Raiders continuing to evolve through balance updates and weapon tuning, patch 1.4 has firmly reshaped how guns perform across both PvE and PvP. But not all weapons are created equal. We got you Arc Raiders 1.7 tier list, ranking the best PvE and PvP weapons.
ARC Raiders 1.7 Best Weapons - Arc Raiders 1.7 PvE & PvP Tier List
In Arc Raiders, your weapon choice isn’t just a preference — it directly determines how efficiently you survive, farm, and win fights. PvE and PvP demand completely different performance profiles, and using the “wrong” weapon for the job can turn good mechanics into wasted effort. This Arc Raiders 1.7 guns tier list breaks down every major firearm in Arc Raiders 1.4 based on real gameplay performance, not theorycrafting. For PvE, weapons are ranked by how consistently and efficiently they deal damage to ARC weak points, factoring in ammo type, armor penetration, sustained DPS, and upgrade investment. For PvP, the focus shifts to time to kill, reliability under pressure, ease of use, and performance when enemies fight back.
Arc Raiders 1.7 PvE Gun Tier List
How consistently and efficiently a weapon deals damage to ARC weak points in PvE.
S+ Tier
Renegade
The best PvE weapon in the game. Extremely high fire rate with pinpoint accuracy. Performs at any range. Insane sustained DPS when hitting weak points. Minimal reliance on attachments; upgrades alone make it dominant. Absolutely melts Bastions, Queens, and Matriarchs once cores are exposed. If you want the fastest ARC kills, this is the weapon.
S Tier
Hullcracker
Still one of the strongest burst weapons in PvE. No longer a brain-off nuke — now requires precision
Must strip armor and hit cores to shine. High ammo and upgrade cost. When set up correctly, it remains devastating. Expensive, but brutally effective.
Anvil
Essentially a superior version of the Pharaoh. Six heavy shots instead of one. No attachments required. Reliable at close, mid, and long range. One of the most consistent ARC killers in the game. Simple, powerful, and extremely reliable.
Equalizer
Top-tier armor stripping and long-range precision. Excels against large ARCs (Queens, Matriarchs). Instantly removes protective plates and weak-point armor. Works best in duo or trio play, but still strong solo. A strategic weapon that defines fights.
A Tier
Pharaoh
The ultimate budget ARC killer. Massive single-shot damage. No upgrades required to be effective. Slower pace due to reload downtime. Incredible value, but limited by fire rate.
Bettina
Strong PvE weapon after recent buffs. Improved durability, magazine size, and reload speed. Heavy ammo allows effective armor stripping. Low fire rate and horizontal recoil still hold it back. Requires heavy upgrade investment. Very reliable, but not smooth or exciting.
Tempest
A medium-ammo alternative to Bettina. Reliable weak-point DPS. Requires upgrades and attachments to shine. Lower armor penetration than heavy ammo weapons. Solid and dependable, but not top-tier.
Torrente
Extremely powerful in weak-point windows. Excels when dumping mags into exposed cores. Fantastic against Bastions and Matriarchs. Positioning and accuracy matter a lot. High skill, high reward.
Aphelion
Armor-stripping and crowd-control specialist. Energy ammo strips armor efficiently. Incredible against flying ARCs. Damage per shot is low, requiring weapon swapping. Control weapon, not a main DPS tool.
Jupiter
Precision long-range ARC killer. Unique penetration mechanic. Can instantly kill small flying ARCs from specific angles. Charge time and chamber delay limit burst damage. Strong but mechanically demanding.
Venator
Reliable medium-ammo automatic rifle. Easy recoil control. Good sustained weak-point damage
Lacks burst potential. Safe and consistent, but not exceptional.
B Tier
Rattler
Improved but still mid-tier. Medium ammo with decent scaling through upgrades. Performs better in extended fights. Outclassed by higher-tier options.
Arpeggio
Triple-burst medium ammo rifle. Becomes usable with upgrades and attachments. Burst fire limits weak-point dumping efficiency.
Burletta
Fast-firing light ammo weapon. Works during CC windows. Suffers from light ammo limitations.
Osprey
Long-range precision rifle. Effective against Rocketeers. Slower pace limits DPS.
Bobcat
High fire-rate light ammo weapon. Requires upgrades and attachments to perform. Easily replaced by Kettle or Stitcher.
Kettle / Stitcher
Entry-level workhorses. No investment required. Low scaling into late PvE.
Vulcano / Il Toro
Shotguns with extreme burst damage. Devastating at point-blank weak points. No armor penetration. Limited range and consistency.
D Tier
Hairpin
Stylish but ineffective. Extremely satisfying to use. Poor DPS and slow firing cycle. High precision requirement with little payoff. Cool weapon, bad performance.
Arc Raiders 1.7 PvP Gun Tier List
Time to kill, consistency in real fights, ease of use, and how well a weapon performs when players fight back.
S+ Tier
Venator
One of the strongest all-around Arc Raiders 1.7 PvP weapons. Excellent at close, medium, and even longer ranges. Very controllable recoil with proper firing discipline. Strong time to kill without needing extreme investment. Works perfectly as a primary weapon or as part of any loadout. Even after nerfs, it remains a core PvP weapon.
Anvil
Possibly the most reliable PvP weapon overall. Heavy ammo with incredible stopping power. Can instantly end fights with double headshots up close. Extremely accurate at medium and long range
Does not require attachments to function well. If there’s one weapon that works everywhere, it’s the Anvil.
S Tier
Tempest
The most reliable assault rifle in PvP. Strong at close range, excellent at medium range. Still very effective at medium-to-long range when upgraded. Worth the upgrade and attachment investment. Extremely versatile and satisfying to use. A true all-rounder AR that rewards investment.
Renegade
Deadly in skilled hands. Very high fire rate and accuracy. Dominates medium-to-long range fights. Weakest when hard-pressed up close. Best paired with a shotgun or all-in close-range weapon. Fantastic dueling weapon with proper positioning.
IL Toro
One of the best close-range PvP weapons. Can two-pump players reliably. No upgrade investment required to be lethal. Strong roll-and-shoot playstyle. Easier to upgrade than Vulcano. Extremely effective and very efficient.
Vulcano
Raw close-range stat check. Full mag dumps win fights. Scales well with fire rate and mag upgrades. Slightly weaker per shot than Toro, but consistent. Brutal up close, but needs commitment and upgrades.
Stitcher
Low-investment PvP monster. Extremely strong even at level one. Easy one-mag potential. Cheap to upgrade. Slightly slower fire rate than Bobcat. One of the most efficient PvP weapons in the game.
Kettle
A headshot machine. Excellent up close and at medium range. Becomes very strong once velocity issues are upgraded. Requires tap-firing discipline. Extremely cheap to upgrade. High skill ceiling, very high reward.
Bobcat
The close-range shredder. Faster time to kill than Stitcher. Demands accuracy. Requires more upgrades and attachments. Loses effectiveness at medium range. Terrifying in close fights when properly built.
A Tier
Torrente
Equalizer-style aggression, but better for PvP. No charge-up time. Extremely strong in surprise. engagements Can wipe squads with proper flanks. Minimal investment required. High-risk, high-reward PvP weapon.
Ferro (Pharaoh)
Shotgun-like burst weapon. One headshot heavily cripples enemies. Extremely cheap to upgrade. Great for swap-based playstyles. Weak in sustained fights. Amazing opener, risky if hard-pushed.
Arpeggio
Respectable but inconsistent. Can be effective with upgrades and attachments. Burst playstyle works up close. Feels unreliable in chaotic fights. Viable, but rarely optimal.
Bettina
Awkward but usable. Only viable when fully upgraded and attached. Low fire rate and recoil issues. Loses close-range fights and struggles at long range. Too much investment for too little payoff.
Osprey
The only true sniper rifle. Excellent long-range precision. Velocity upgrades make it very strong. Extremely slow follow-up shots. Never a solo weapon — must be paired. Strong on specific maps, niche overall.
B Tier
Burletta
Fast mag dumping, but replaceable. Surprisingly effective with attachments. Competes directly with Kettle and Stitcher. Suffers from light ammo limitations.
Rattler
Improved but still mid-tier. Magazine size buff helps significantly. Consistent and usable without attachments. Often just barely misses one-mag kills. No longer terrible, but not top-tier.
Aphelion
The best of the special weapons in PvP — still limited. Three-shot bursts feel strong. Works well at medium range. Requires multiple bursts to down a player. Close to being great, but held back by TTK.
Jupiter
Hard-hitting but predictable. Long-range pressure weapon. Charge-up time gives enemies time to react
Strong in team support roles. Scary, but not lethal enough solo.
Equalizer
All-in ambush weapon. Absolutely deletes players when fully spun up. Completely loses if rushed
Out-traded by shotguns and SMGs. High risk, low forgiveness.
