It seems that the new Golden Blitz will not come soon, as it is going to be the first one for the Star Wars Go album season, and we just have two at the end of April 2025. The most potential release date of the next Golden Blitz on Monopoly Go is June 3 to June 5, 2025. There is typically a relatively long interval time between the start of a new album and its first Golden Blitz event, and since the Star Wars Go album launches on May 1, 2025, there is little chance to see Golden Blitz in recent times, and even the whole of May.

On the other hand, the previous Golden Blitz events have often started around mid-week, especially Wednesdays. The timing of the last event (April 30) also supports that, so we can expect the next Golden Blitz in the mid-week of the first week of June.

How Does Golden Blitz Work and How to Prepare?

Golden Blitz is a limited-time event on Monopoly Go that provides players a chance to trade specific golden stickers with friends. Typically, Golden Blitz events are held 3 or 4 times per sticker season, while each one only lasts up to 24 hours, two new golden stickers will be revealed. You can only trade up to 5 of the featured golden stickers. As the event duration is short, you need to be prepared to complete your trades quickly.

1. How to get golden stickers?

To get the golden stickers, you need to open the normal packs. The general drop rate of golden stickers is low, and it is affected by the star value of the card and the star level of the pack. If you can’t obtain what you want from packs, another method is to trade your extra 5-star or other standard cards with others who have duplicate stickers. Try to find as many trading partners as possible.

2. Why do I trade golden stickers during the event?

Golden stickers are hard to get and non-tradable in normal time, so Golden Blitz is one of your few opportunities to get some missing stickers that you do not have, then you can collect more different stickers and complete your album faster.

3. How to know if Golden Blitz starts?

When Golden Blitz is available, you can find the event icon on the right side of the game board, which means the Golden Blitz is active now and you can participate in.
