In this guide, we're talking everything about the 2023 Noblegarden event in WoTLK Classic, covering the rewards (mounts, pets), eggs hunting, quests, achievements, and how to get the "Rare" Violet Proto-Drake mount!
WotLK Classic Noblegarden (Easter) Event 2023 Guide
The Noblegarden event is going to give you a bunch of different rewards, mostly Cosmetics as well as the noble title. The main reason we're doing the event is that we're nearly done with the meta achievement - What A Long Strange Trip, which will give us the "Rare" Violet Proto-Drake which is one of the best mounts in Wrath of the Lich King.
How To Go Through The Noblegarden Event and Get All Rewards?
Go to one of the egg collection zones
Pick up daily Spring Gatherer/Collector quests from the Spring Gatherer/Collector NPC
Pick up A Tisket, a Tasket, or a Noblegarden Basket quest from Noblegarden Vendor/Merchant NPC
- A temporary version of the reward from this quest is (weirdly) given to you for ACCEPTING the quest, so don’t complete this quest until you are done with all the achievements
Collect 250+ Brightly Colored Eggs
- The amount will vary based on the RNG of what you loot from the eggs
Open your eggs (inside will be Chocolates and random items you will no longer have to buy from the vendor)
Complete achievements
Buy items you didn’t get from eggs and finish the rest of the achievements
WotLK Classic 2023 Noblegarden Event Start & End Date
The Noblegarden event referred to as the Easter event only runs from April 9th to 16th, so if you want to get the special rewards from the event you don't want to miss it.
Noblegarden Event Locations
Here are the locations you can get started on each of the Horde and Alliance sides:
Noblegarden Daily Quests (Rewards & How To Complete)
You'll definitely want to pick up the Daily Quests to start the event and receive rewards:
Spring Gatherers (Alliance) / Spring Collectors (Horde)
Reward: Access to the Holiday location
This quest guides players from major cities to a Noblegarden camp situated in the starting areas of either Horde or Alliance. You can travel to any of these locations and speak to the Spring Gatherer or Spring Collector to acquire "The Great Egg Hunt" daily quest.
A Tisket, A Tasket, A Noblegarden Baske (Alliance / Horde)
Reward: Egg Basket, 23 gold, 40 silver
While we're in the area, we should also head to the Spring vendor of the Noblegarden merchant. At the merchant, you can pick up the quest A Tisket, A Tasket, A Noblegarden Basket. That Quest rewards an Egg Basket which increases your movement speed by 60% for 10 seconds. But weirdly enough, the quest Giver actually gives you this basket when you get the quest, so we wouldn't even do this Quest until way later.
The Great Egg Hunt (Alliance / Horde)
Reward: Blossoming Branch, 23 gold, 40 silver
The Great Egg Hunt is a daily quest that requires players to gather 20 Brightly Colored Shell Fragments in exchange for a Blossoming Branch and 23 gold 40 silver. These shell fragments can be found inside the Brightly Colored Eggs scattered throughout the starting zones.
Noblegarden Vendor Items
While we're at the vendor though you should definitely check out all the potential Noblegarden loot you can get. Everything from the Noblegarden vendor requires chocolates as a currency in fact in order to get all the different items:
White Tuxedo Shirt: 25 chocolates
Elegant Dress: 50 chocolates
Spring Rabbit's Foot: 100 chocolates
Spring Circlet: 50 chocolates (not required)
Spring Flower: 50 chocolates
Black Tuxedo Pants: 25 chocolates
Blossoming Branch: 10 chocolates (can also get from daily quest reward)
Spring Robes: 50 chocolates
Noblegarden Egg: 5 chocolates
Chocoholic Achievement: 100 chocolates
Total chocolates required: 405 Chocolate for Achievements*, 465 Total for everything*
Noblegarden Chocolate Currency & How To Farm?
You'll need 465 total chocolates to buy all these vendor items, but don't buy a single thing. So Noblegarden Chocolates are the primary item that players will gather from the Brightly Colored Eggs. These chocolates serve as a currency for purchasing all the Noblegarden vanity items. Here are the main methods you can get the limited-time currency during the event time:
Almost every egg holds Noblegarden Chocolates, but occasionally an egg may contain a different item, like the Spring Rabbit's Foot.
Continue to gather eggs until you have accumulated enough chocolates to purchase all the items you desire from the vendors. It's possible that you may even come across a valuable item or two while gathering the eggs.
It's advisable to collect some extra chocolates if you aim to complete certain achievements. In addition to serving as a currency for purchasing items from the Noblegarden vendors, there are achievements that require you to consume a specific quantity of chocolates. For example, you'll need 25 chocolates to complete the "Chocoholic" achievement.
Noblegarden Event Eggs & Hunting Tips
The main thing we're going to be doing for the next couple of hours is collecting as many eggs as we can. The egg spawns at approximately a two to three-minute timer all around the starting areas. Inside the eggs, you'll be getting chocolates, the shell for the daily Quest, and random items you could get from the vendor.
Bonus Egg Collection Tips
Go to the opposite faction’s cities on imbalanced servers
If you are in an empty zone, move and loot all the spawns
If you are in a contested zone, camp a multi-spawn location
- Example: the wagon in Falconwing Square)
Usually, we are aiming for at least 250 eggs, but you may need way less than that if you get lucky with drops in terms of your egg strategy realistically all the different towns are viable:

Note: One super pro tip is to actually go to the other Faction City if you're on an imbalanced server.
2023 Noblegarden Event Achivements
In addition, there are ten fresh achievements for Noblegarden, out of which eight are applicable to the meta-achievement named Noble Gardener. This accomplishment grants you the title "%s the Noble", counts towards the significant meta-achievement named "What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been", and also unlocks the Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake. Find a Brightly Colored Egg
Chocoholic
Eat 100 Noblegarden Chocolates
Blushing Bride
Kiss someone who is wearing an Elegant Dress while wearing a White Tuxedo Shirt and Black Tuxedo Pants
Get the White Tuxedo Shirt and Black Tuxedo Pants from opening an egg or from the vendor, then find a friend or guildie with the dress to /kiss (the dress wearer gets no credit)
None of these pieces of clothing are Bind on Equip, so you can trade them to friends and get everyone credit quickly
Some players with the Elegant Dress will sell their services for gold, solid and fun money making opportunity
Desert Rose
Obtain Spring Robes from an egg or the vendor, then travel to each desert and use the right click ability from the Spring Robes item to plant a flower:
The Badlands - Direbrew Remote or fly to Badlands or Thorium Point
Silithus - Portal to Un’goro or taxi fly down
Thousand Needles - Caverns of Time teleport and mount up
Desolace - Taxi fly down
Tanaris - Caverns of Time teleport and mount over
Shake Your Bunny-Maker
Use Spring Flowers to place rabbit ears upon players who are level 18 or above
Dalaran is the recommended location and if you are on a 100-0 server try Wintergrasp afterwards
NOTE: The players no longer need to be female, anyone should work at a high enough level
Noble Garden
Hide a Brightly Colored Egg in Stormwind City.
Purchase a Noblegarden Egg from a vendor (cannot be found in eggs)
Go to Stormwind as Alliance or Silvermoon City as Horde and place the egg anywhere you want to complete the achievement
You can put it somewhere fun for someone else to find it or just right click it again and receive the chocolate
Hard Boiled
Lay an egg in Un'Goro Crater's Golakka Hot Springs as a rabbit during the Noblegarden celebration.
Easy duo strategy:
Bring a friend (each with a Blossoming Branch) to the Galakka Hot Springs in Un’Goro
Use the Blossoming Branch on your friend (in a party) and then run around near the edge of the water until the achievement pops
Hard Solo strategy:
Set Hearth to Tanaris
Loot eggs until you get turned into a bunny
Hearth and run to Galakka Hot Springs (don’t take any damage from mobs or falling, don’t shift, don’t mount)
Wait until the achievement pops
NOTE: I was not being turned into a bunny from looting eggs in my testing, will need to verify that this is still in the game (this would force you to do the duo strategy instead)
Spring Fling
Find your Sprint Rabbit Love in the following locations:
Horde: Brill / Falconwing Square / Razor Hill / Bloodhoof Village
Alliance: Kharanos / Dolanaar / Goldshire / Azure Watch
- Buy the Spring Rabbit from the vendor or get it from opening a Brightly Colored Egg
- Go with a friend to each location, use your Spring Rabbit, and run it on top of your friend’s rabbit until the heart appears
- Alternatively if you are solo get a rabbit on two separate characters, use the first one, then force log (ALT + F4 then log back in on your other character) and use the second.
