Protection Paladin is really crazy in 10.0.7, they got a rework in their tree. They got stuff, and added the thing in the bottom right of the class tree that extends their Sentinel uptime. They got greater coolant reduction on their big defenses like Sentinel, Guardian Angel Kings Divine Shield all that stuff. Furthermore, they got access to a shorter cooldown on eye of tier, it does good damage. Protection Paladin has the most damage as a tank in the game. They have a ton of damage, and a ton of utility, you can really carry a key on a Protection Paladin. Protection Warrior is the top-tier tank spec in Dragonflight patch 10.0.7 and it’s very strong in most situations. It has very good damage, and insane survivability, Prot Warriors can really just tank a lot of things. They've received some small nerfs, however, they're still one of the best tanks in the game. They bring a perfect rallying cry which is very useful for your raid. Although they can bring good damage in Battle Stance if they're not tanking or if there are lots of less damaging encounters, they have good mobility with charges and leaks. It does have a weakness in magic damage but they have a spell block that kind of mitigates that. All in all, Protection Warrior really is just strong in almost every situation, there's nothing bad about it. Protection Paladin is going to be a very similar situation to Protection Warrior. Their damage and utility are absolutely insane, it gets better in an AOE scenario so there is that to keep in mind.
