How to Get John Madden Tokens in Madden 23 - John Madden Upgrade Objectives

When you log in to the Ultimate Team, you’ll receive a TOTY Welcome Pack that contains a 91 OVR DT John Madden and a MUT Tip. The defensive tackle version of John Madden can be upgraded to 99 OVR for free, but you have to complete 8 different objectives with this card in your lineup to earn all John Madden upgrade tokens. You can complete these objectives through challenges and solo battles. 

- Rush for 5,000 yards with 91 OVR DT John Madden in your lineup to earn one Madden Upgrade Token.

- Rush for 10,000 yards with 91 OVR DT John Madden in your lineup to earn one Madden Upgrade Token.

- Get 100 touchdowns with 91 OVR DT John Madden in your lineup to earn one Madden Upgrade Token.

- Get 250 touchdowns with 91 OVR DT John Madden in your lineup to earn one Madden Upgrade Token.

- Get 20 sacks with 91 OVR DT John Madden in your lineup to earn one Madden Upgrade Token.

- Get 40 sacks with 91 OVR DT John Madden in your lineup to earn one Madden Upgrade Token.

- Get 200 tackles with 91 OVR DT John Madden in your lineup to earn one Madden Upgrade Token.

Earning the DT or LT card of 99 OVR John Madden requires you to do different things in the game, both of them need to take some time but you can earn the amazing card without costing your MUT 23 coins.

1) John Madden Upgrade (99 OVR DT John Madden)

- The first step is to open your TOTY welcome pack to get the 91 overall version of John Madden.

- Next, go to your Ultimate Team Missions tab and select TOTY.

- Go to the third one, John Madden Upgrade Objectives, and complete these tasks for earning the upgrade tokens. 

- Once you earned all Madden Upgrade Tokens, put them into John Madden’s upgrade path, as you add those tokens, his ratings will increase eventually, getting him all the way up to a gold 99 overall card with all 32 Team Chem available.

2) John Madden Set (99 OVR LT John Madden)

To get the John Madden LT item, you need to complete the 99 OVR LT John Madden set, which requires you to exchange 2x98 OVR TOTY Champions or Honorable Mentions to receive a John Madden LT card and 2x TOTY Champions or Honorable Mentions as BND.
