3/7/2023 4:07:36 PM

How’s the situation in the raid after the patch Dragonflight WoW 10.0.7 update? Today, we’re going to check how things have been in the Dragonflight 10.0.7 raid when it comes to the DPS performance. The Death Knights doing significantly worse, the complete fall down to the bottom of Assassination Rogue, Elemental, and Enhancement Shaman both fell by a lot of ranks. There was the Retribution Paladin suddenly doing much better and then the Buffs going to Warriors going to Shadow Priest and going to Devastation Evoker which doing significantly better compared to the start of this tier. Next, we're going to break down the Dragonflight season 2 raid tier list, ranking the best DPS, healer, and tank specs for 10.0.7.

WoW Dragonflight 10.0.7 Best Raid DPS, Healer & Tank  - Dragonflight Season 2 Raid Tier List

As for the situation at the moment perhaps the most notable thing is that the Retribution Paladin crashed and burned, suddenly Ret Paladin has not been doing nearly as well as a couple of weeks ago. Then again most Ret Paladin players are still hoping a lot for the changes coming in patch 10.0.7 which will significantly change and at the moment it seems like significantly empower the spec for the upcoming season. Other significant changes were the hunter buffs. There are also a few more Hunter Buffs coming in 10.0.7, but at the moment there has been a Resurgence of all three Hunter specs at the same time.

Dragonflight 10.0.7 Raid Performances

As we know, 10.0.7 is going to adjust Neltharax, the epic bow for Hunters dropping from Raszageth and Blizzard has decided to fix the special effect of Neltharax and in return give a compensation buff to Hunters. Compensation buff which will end up still being a flat buff to all three Hunter specs in particular still to Beast Mastery Hunter. So definitely looking good for hunters given that they haven't even received that buff yet. This adjusts with the plus 5% more damage done to all three Hunter specs and they are now doing significantly currently better. Also, a little bit of a peek back to the single target to the boss damage done by specs to see once again Beast Mastery Hunter at the top. This is going to be particularly interesting given that Beast Mastery Hunter is also going to get buffed in single target damage in Dragonflight 10.0.7 as they are already the better-performing single target spec. Now, read our Dragonflight 10.0.7 raid DPS, healer & tank ranking.

22. Arcane - 7010

23. Frost - 6106

24. Survival - 2429

The performance of a spec in any given encounter doesn't have much to do with its popularity. Best ways to show this are for example Balance Druid still being comfortably in the top 3 of most popular specs in WoW Dragonflight despite not really ever being towards the top of performance. There is also then Frost Mage also very popular because Mage itself is popular even though this tier Mage has not been particularly strong ever since Demonology has dropped off by quite a bit in performance its popularity has still remained quite high. Once again, the reverse is true as well if some niche specs are doing well, their popularity is not increasing by too much. For example, despite Feral Druid doing quite well, the steer their popularity is still quite low.

WoW Dragonflight 10.0.7 Raid Healer Tier List

1. Preservation - 48308

2. Restoration - 46591

3. Holy Priest - 33597

4. Holy Paladin - 25664

5. Restoration - 19952

6. Mistweaver - 10873

7. Discipline - 6988

On this WoW Dragonflight season 2 healer raid popularity list, we still saw Preservation Evoker and Restoration Druid topping the charts of popularity, with a significant gap. Almost basically a 50% gap between Holy Priest and Holy Paladin. In the middle, another gap down in the bottom three, Resto Shaman, Mistweaver Monk, and Discipline Priest. What is interesting is that in 10.0.7, Holy Paladin is going to receive a significant rework to the general tree of Paladin which will also be a buff to Holy Paladin as well. Restoration Shaman is going to receive quite the rework to its talent trees. Both the general one and also the spec specific one. It's going to be interesting to see if both the Resto Shaman and Holy Paladin will grow more and more in popularity after Dragonflight patch 10.0.7 to get close in anticipation of 10.1. Meanwhile, you can excuse Discipline, because if Holy Priest is popular. It's very likely that Discipline will not be.

Ranking WoW Dragonflight Best 10.0.7 Healers, DPS & Tanks

The following percentages are showing how likely are you spec going to die in Raid. The higher their ranks are, the easier they are going to die. On the other hand, the lower percentages are, the harder they are going to die.

Dragonflight Best 10.0.7 Healer Specs

1. Mistweaver - 41.24%

2. Discipline - 40.08%

3. Holy Priest - 38.94%

4. Restoration Druid - 35.40%

5. Preservation - 34.88%

6. Restoration Warlock - 33.65%

7. Holy Paladin - 25.05%

For Mistweaver, despite the several amounts of buffs and quality-of-life improvements that Blizzard tried to give Mistweaver in the past weeks, even the past months, it does not look like it had any effect on the popularity of Mistweaver at the very least in the raid. Perhaps it might also have to be with them not being very good or not being very good at staying alive because this is the death chance of your spec when you go into a Mythic raid boss. This is both if you are wiping or if you're actually killing the boss, these are the percentage chances of your spec dying. Surprisingly, Holy Priest is the least likely to die, together with Restoration and Preservation Evoker towards the bottom. At the top, you have a gap for Discipline and Mistweaver Monk despite both of them also being the least played specs.

Dragonflight Best 10.0.7 DPS Specs

1. Retribution - 43.98

2. Devastation - 41.78

3. Marksmanship - 15.50

4. Survival - 40.39%

5. Arms - 40.09

6. Feral - 40.01

7. Arcane - 39.80

8. Shadow - 39.36

9. Windwalker - 39.19

10. Frost - 39.01

11. Balance - 38.86

12. Beast Mastery - 38.57%

13. Enhancement - 37.89

Elemental - 37.15

Fury - 37.00

Frost - 35.43

Fire - 33.54

Subtley - 33.54

Havoc - 33.53

Destruction - 32.62

Assassination - 32.00

Unholy - 31.72

Affliction - 30.46

Demonology - 30.28

Outlaw - 28.37

With the urban legends on, with the memes, now we have in the top three of most dying specs Marksmanship Hunters, the so-called Hunters by default as well as Retribution Paladin. Also in the middle to complete the Trifecta of most likely-to-die specs, you have the new spec, the flavor of the month re-rolling characters going Devastation Evoker, despite also Evoker being quite agile and quite quick to move around and to dodge mechanics, etc. But in the raid, they still die much more compared to the usual suspects of tankiness Rogues. You have Warlocks notoriously very tany, as well as Havoc Demon Hunters with their very high mobility, plus very high leech and self-sustain, so it's quite hard to kill them. Towards the top of the most likely to die, you also have more squishy specs or more immobile specs like Shadow Priest for example, being one of the more liable to be dying in a raid encounter.

Dragonflight Best 10.0.7 Tank Specs

1. Protection Warrior - 37.61%

2. Guardian Druid - 35.25%

3. Protection Paladin - 33.28%

4. Brewmaster - 28.72%

5. Vengeance - 28.27%

6. Blood - 23.93

Tanks are not nearly as important as the rest of the group because tanks are more liable to die due to boss mechanics. Surprisingly, the least likely to die is Blood Death Knight because first its self-sustains. So even if the healers are dropping the ball here and there, Blood DK doesn't really care. Number two because they have a cheat death unlike Protection Warrior unlike Guardian Druid and unlike Protection Paladin at the very least a proper Chief death, they do have one, so they are much less likely to die when they are tanking a raid boss.
