WoW Dragonflight Hidden Chests, Loots & Rewards: Best Locations, Routes, & Tips To Find Them

12/7/2022 6:28:04 PM

Today we are going to give you some tips and tricks about things that you can do in Dragonflight right now once you max level. All kinds of things about hidden/discoverable items you can get, about a certain professional knowledge point you can get, and about the reputation you can farm to get further items. Thank to Naguura who gathered a bunch of Dragonflight hidden chestpiece, loot, and rewards information, we are going to put it all in this guide.

WoW Dragonflight Hidden Chests, Loots & Rewards: Best Locations, Routes, & Tips To Find Them

1. 34 Slot Bag

Let's start with the 34 slot bag that you can just pick up in the Waking Shores. It is really nice to have extra space because all of these different things in Dragonflight especially with the quality of items nowadays will take a lot of space away in your inventory. So make sure you pick it up it's called a Misty Satchel and it is inside a waterfall. You have to make sure you're on top of the waterfall and then you jump down and you will land on the latch and then you move inside the waterfall and there's just a chest there that you loot and you will get your 34 slot back.

3. Profession Masters

Let's quickly talk about some professional stuff. They are hidden NPCs, they're called Profession Masters and if you talk to them, you actually get a bunch of knowledge. This is a one-time thing and each NPC or Profession Master is in a different location depending on what profession you need.

3. Profession Treasures

Additionally, there's also one-time treasure, so you can loot. For each profession that will give three knowledge each when you pick them up. These are one-time things so make sure you do it early on. Because the more knowledge you have early on, the more it's going to help you out with leveling your profession and your knowledge. You’d better do this as fast as you can if you care about pushing your profession.

Boomthyr Rocket

Faintly Enchanted Remains

Ancient Monument

Well Insulated Mug

4. Trial Events

Trial of Floods and trial of Elements, are two events that happen and you can do them once per week and you actually get a really WOW Dragonflight hidden item from this one.

-Trial of Flood is in Ohn’ahran Plains at the bottom next to like a body of water and it will basically spawn a chest that you cannot loot until you've killed waves of mobs that are coming in now. This is an event that is up every few hours and it is different timers on different Realms. So if you just go to the area of Trial of Flood and you open up your LFG tool just look for a Trial of Flood in the custom section and see what kind of groups there are and just join and leave certain groups to see if we can find the chest on one of the Realms.

-Trial of Elements is actually located in the Thaldraszus at the Temporal Conflux. First of all, this is only available if you have done the Thaldraszus. If you haven't, then the portal isn't there. But if you've done the questline then you fly up to the higher-up area, there's going to be a Golden Bronze kind of portal you go through it and then the same kind of event as the Trail of Flood should be there too. It's just called Trial of Elements. Again you can realm-hop and see if there's any other route that has a trial currently up. Just make sure you go to the group binder look for a group that has this trial up and then go and complete it.

5. Cobalt Assembly

There's this Cobalt Assembly reputation if you haven't heard about it yet. There's an area in Azure Span that is basically its own reputation and there's a ring that you can get that is really high item level. It's 389 Assembly Scholar’s Loop that has pretty low sets on its secondary stats for its item level. But it has an effect on it it does extra arcane damage and that one seems to be pretty good. If you want to get that ring, then go to that area and make sure you just kill mobs. There are lots and lots of farming groups up, you just join a group, you go in there and you kill as many mobs as possible. You pick up these kinds of arcane sparks that give you extra powers.

There also give you runes that you can then trade in for reputation. There's an NPC as well that has some sort of like talent tree and in the second row all the way in the left, there's a talent that increases the reputation gained for this faction. So you want to make sure at the start card you found some reputation and then as soon as you have enough reputation, you come back you enable that extra reputation talent and then you continue farming the rest of your reputation. However, it takes two to three hours to get the item in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.

6. Obsidian Citadel

There are also things you can farm from the obsidian Citadel in relation to the reputation of Sabellian and Wrathion. In case you don't know how that works, there's the Obsidian Citadel, it gets unlocked at Renown level five for Valdrakken which should be pretty easy to get if you're just doing the normal campaign. What happens is there's a bunch of weekly quests that give you a reputation for Valdrakken and for Sabellian or Wrathion, you will have to choose which dragon you farm reputation for at the start of every week.

It probably would be smarter to just go with the same dragon every week until you have unlocked a certain amount of reputation there to get those items that you want.  Now the Cosmetics are different if you care about Cosmetics, the best thing you can do is look at the Cosmetics from Sabellian and the ones from Wrathion and see which ones you like more. But the actual player power items are the same. The clock is item level 398 and the neck is in the middle of 389 you can buy them when you're really high reputation with Sabellian or Wrathion.

The trick here is if you want to get this reputation quickly, weekly quests will take some time. But you can farm these Key Fragment keys in the area you can combine the keys and then turn them in at the NPC. This will actually take a long time because you need to gather around 200 keys in total. But you can also just wait and do this over a couple of weeks. Just keep in mind that these items seem good right now but once Mythic plus comes out and once the raid comes out this item level is not going to be very relevant anymore.

There are also Poe items that you can buy on the auction house that if you trade them in you get 50 reputations as well. There are different ones depending on if it's a Sabellian or Wrathion that's something you could do as well. You could just go to the auction house and buy a bunch of these tokens and turn them in. But that would cost you uh millions of gold.

7. Dragonscale Expedition

In Dragonscale Expedition, there are a bunch of things you can do to increase your rep game there if you want to.

- At renowned level 5, you will unlock the rock climbing world quests which in return give you more reputation for the Dragonscale Expedition. So make sure you reach that as fast as possible if you want to be pushing that reputation.

- At renowned level 7, it will unlock another set of world quests it's the cataloging will quest where you go around and take pictures of the wildlife. Then once again will give you a reputation for Dragonscale Expedition. So make sure you unlock that as well as fast as you can.

-Then something that you can continuously do is you can buy shovels from the NPC in the Dragonscale base camp. With these shovels, you can loot so-called dirt piles that are basically like treasures that spawn randomly throughout all of the zones. These dirt piles can give you reputations for the Dragonscale Expedition and it also could even give you knowledge items for professors as well. There were some people who managed to reach 25 renowned levels already with Dragonscale Expedition because they were running around and continuously just picking up these dirt piles.

8. Bloody Tokens

Let's talk about Bloody Tokens and War Mode. We recommend doing everything with war mode on once you max level. Because there are certain will quest responses to PVP quests that reset daily they give you Bloody Tokens and other rewards and then there are also random chests that appear on the map that if you manage to loot them, you also get bloody tokens as well. These body tokens are a currency that you can use for PVP items. If you go to the PVP vendor, you will see there's a bunch of items that are 366 item level in PVE scale up to 408 in PvP and they actually give us that bonus that gives you 105 versatility permanently. It would even be better than higher items just because it was a set bonus.

9. Leveling Alts

If you're leveling any sort of alts, you can do it through Threats of Fate where you basically just pick a zone. You can do anything there to get it done and you don't have to do the campaign. But there's currently a bug going on and if you're leveling an alt, do the Thaldraszus campaign. The Thaldraszus campaign unlocks the Spark of Ingenuity which comes from the Engine of Innovation which will be unlocked only if you do the campaign Thaldraszus. If you're leveling yourself out, you don't have to do Waking Shores or on our own planes or all of these other campaigns, but we definitely recommend doing specifically the Thaldraszus campaign because otherwise, you will not be getting that Spark of Innovation which is really important to be able to craft items from professions later on.
