DeMarco Murray - HB - 87

The first Campus Hero player that is worth picking is the Eagles Legend DeMarco Murray, a running back with 87 speed, 83 trucking, and 86 break tackle, the catching is pretty solid for that speed as well. Brandin Cooks - WR - 87

For wide receivers, we have two decent options, Brandin Cooks is probably the best one, he has Deep In Elite as the pre-equipped ability, 87 speed, 87 mid route running, 86 deep, and 84 short, but that’s probably the least important out of all of them, catching is pretty good at 86, then catch in traffic at 85, he also played for a handful of teams, so he gets lots of good theme teams. 

Derrick Mason - WR - 87

Another best option for WR card is Derrick Mason, he gets Slot-O-Matic for ability, which was really good in MUT 22, it is expected to be pretty solid in MUT 23 as well, and help you get separation against Man Coverage if you put this wide receiver in the slot on your offense, he also has pretty nice attributes, such as 86 speed, 85 catch, 86 catch in traffic, 88 short route running.

Pat Elflein - LG - 87

There are six offensive linemen to choose from and there is one at every single position. What are the best options to go? Pat Elflein is probably the most balanced out there, he has 86 strength, 83 awareness is a little bit low, but the 89 pass block and 88 run block are super good, this is probably the best offensive linemen. Another really good card is going to be Gary Zimmerman, the Broncos Legend with 85 strength, 87 awareness, 86 run block, and 89 pass block.

Chase Young - LE - 87

Chase young should be ranked at the top spot out of all of the Campus Heroes cards, he is the fastest defensive end in the game, and he comes with Edge Threat ability. When walking through his attributes, 84 speed, and he gives you two of the big three in the 80s, that's gonna be block shedding at 86 and finesse move at 88, power move is at 79, so that's very close to 80s, there are no power-ups this year to bump that up, but if you have right strategy item, you might be able to get that into the 80s.

Merlin Olsen - DT - 87

When it comes to a defensive end who's basically rushing the passer or trying to stop the run, Merlin Olsen is the best defensive tackle, he gives you all three of the big three above 80 or 80 plus, so 87 block shedding, 81 power move, and 87 finesse move. Some players might have Sam Adams there from your team captain pick at defensive tackle, if you need another one, Merlin Olsen is a really good starting defensive tackle, he has Under Pressure pre-equipped, which is a pretty good ability for defensive ends and defensive tackles. 

Shaquil Barrett - LOLB - 87

Then for linebackers, you can consider Shaquil Barrett, 84 speed is not the fastest, but he got 85 block shedding, 88 finesse move, he is probably going to be solid against the run and the pass, the block shedding is going to help with the running game, power move is almost at 80, and his ability is also good.  

Zaven Collins - MLB - 87

Nextly, the middle linebacker Zaven Collins is another solid option. He got a Field General archetype, so he should be able to get lurker for the cheapest amount of AP out there, he gives you 86 hit power, 80 zone, 87 tackle, and 84 block shedding, this looks like a solid card, with a big boost on his zone compared to his gold card. And he is 6’4”, if you are using middle linebackers at this point, you may have a formation to keep the linebacker instead of a safety. 

Sidney Jones IV - CB - 87

For cornerbacks, Sidney Jones is going to be a good card, he has 87 speed, and play wreck really low, but you got to give up something, everything else is really good on this card, such as 86 man, 89 zone, 85 press, he's giving you the height with the speed is very good.

Trevon Moehrig - FS - 87

Trevon Moehrig is a free safety worth being on the top five spot, it was a rookie premiere last year, and it is a really good card to start the year, in Campus Heroes he gets Pick Artist as the pre-equipped ability, 86 speed, 87 zone, 86 hit power, 85 man, he's pretty fast, he can force fumbles with that hit power and good coverage in both zone and man.

Grant Delpit - SS - 87

The last one you want to get is the strong safety Grant Delpit who always has pretty good cards, he's six foot four with 87 speed, so a very good option, he does come pre-equipped with Acrobat, you have to spend the 5 AP, but 87 speed, 89 zone coverage and 84 hit power that just feels like an added bone bonus, the tackle's a little bit low at 72, 85 man coverage helps with the coverage as well.
