Almost every single year, 2K adds brandon historical teams, all time teams and there's a couple teams that absolutely deserve to be in the game. In today’s guide, we are going to be talking about some best teams that need to be added into NBA 2K23.

The 2022 NBA offseason isn’t even over yet, and most major transactions haven’t even happened yet. However, we already have an idea of how each roster will fare next season as some of the trades and signings have already fallen out. Not to mention this year’s NBA draft, which introduced several fresh faces who will take the league by storm. 

So we cover the prediction of the 5 best teams to play in NBA 2K23. There's two teams we are not going to talk about, the pacers in the 90s and the phoenix suns in the 90s. We know we want Reggie Miller, we know we want Charles Barkley, but it's been like 10 years of us asking at this point, it's just not going to happen. So unless there's a surprise, those teams aren't going to be in this game. Now let’s talk about the teams that might have a chance!

5 Teams We Need In NBA 2K23:

There's two NBA teams, it's the 50s champions, there's two generations of basketball that are not represented at all in 2K, we have the 60s, we have the 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, but the 50s are forgotten and for good reason, 2K does not have the rights to a lot of these players and no one wants to play that kind of boring basketball, they don't even know how to dribble. But there's two teams that we do think deserve a nod as a greatness in the NBA. The 1954 Lakers with George Mikan and Jim Pollard. George mike is one of the greatest NBA players of all time, it's kind of messed up to not have him in 2K with an NBA team. Then the 1958 Hawks with Bob Pettit and Cliff Hagen, another all-time team, it's just messed up to not have these two great centers not have an NBA team in 2K.

5. 1983 Philadelphia 76ers 

This is a team with Moses Malone, Julius Erving, Andrew Toney, Maurice Cheeks. Moses Malone with the 76ers, this was a great championship team, they had lost to the Lakers, with a young magic Johnson. This was a big deal at the time. Dr. J was not able to win a championship in the NBA, he won it in the NBA a couple times, but he couldn't find one and when Moses Malone had joined the 76ers, there was a lot of expectations and Dr. J was finally able to pull it off and win a championship with Moses Malone and he won his NBA championship and it was a big deal. This is a great, almost every single NBA championship team is in 2K, this is an all-time great team, there's no way it's not in the game at all.

4. Four Teams From the 70s

There's four teams from the 70s that are legendary all time and 2K didn't add him into the game and there's just no way. The 70s is probably the most forgotten and disrespected era in basketball history. 

- 1975 Golden State Warriors: The first one is a 1975 Golden State Warriors, San Francisco worth the time with Rick Barry and Jamaal Wilkes. This team was great, this is probably one of the greatest individual seasons in basketball history when Rick Barry was averaging like 32 points a game and carried this team when the only other good player was Jamaal Wilkes who's averaging 14 points a game. He carried this team to a championship probably the hardest carry job in basketball history to win a championship, Rick Barry probably with one of the most greatest seasons ever. 

- Bill Walton Blazers with Maurice Lucas, Lionel Hollins: This team took department have the right to most of these players but still a team of Bill Walton and Maurice Lucas and Lionel Hollins going crazy and Bill Walton's greatest season as an mvp and the Blazers only NBA championship. How do you not have this team in the 2K just feel like it's wrong to not add. 

- 1978 Bullets: This is the Wizard's only championship recorded in history with Elvin Hayes, Bob Dandridge, Phil Chenier, Wes Unseld. Another team that had so much talent, won championships, had a little rivalry with the supersonics, that doesn't get the respect that they deserve. That's messed up 2K that this team need, they already have the rights to everyone. This team needs to be in 2K.

- Supersonics 1979: The Supersonics in 1979 who were having rivalries with the Bullets also won a championship with Dennis Johnson, Jack Sikma, another super underrated team didn't really have a superstar, barely an all-star and Jack Sickma and still won a championship, one of the crazier championship cinderella stories ever, also deserves to be in 2K. This is supersonic's only NBA championship, they deserve to be here.

3. The 2018 Rockets 

They had Chris Paul, James Harden, Eric Gordon, Clint Capela, they barely lost to probably the greatest team in basketball history in seven games. And the only reason they lost is because Chris Paul got injured. This team should have been an NBA hampionship team if they didn't pull a pretty big choke job and got a lucky with Chris Paul's injury. This is a championship team, people always joke about how hard it doesn't have a ring, but like he definitely would have won it this year if they had won that round, they were so close. So even though it's not a championship team, this team might have been super easy choice.

2. The 2009 Magic 

They had made it to the NBA finals, Dwight Howard is probably one of the most popular person of the 2000s, one of the most successful ones of multiple defensive player of the year. We don't have a team of him in his prime, this team made the finals of Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis, Turkoglu, Jameer Nelson and they even had JJ Redick, this team would be awesome today because everybody could shoot besides Dwight Howard. This would be such a fun team to use, they have almost the rights to everyone. 

1. The 2010 Los Angeles Lakers 

The problem is they lost a lot of rights to players, they don't have Paul Gasol right now, they don't have Andrew Bynum but they have Lamar Odom and Kobe, they're going to get Pau Gasol back next season because they always get the rights to the next season after they retire. They can get all they need is Andrew Bynum and if they don't get Andrew Bynum, you still need to add this team into 2K because you have the rights to everyone else. This is Kobe's solo season like we have the Kobe with shaq seasons in 2K, but we need the Kobe by himself, the Bryant Kobe, the guy that was hitting the dumbest shots with his team because this is a top 10 player who doesn't have his all-time team in 2K, it just feels wrong and missing.
