LSOT AK VALTAN Guide: Gate 2 (SHORT VERISON)

Valtan Gate 2 is a TIER 3 Legion Raid and you need to be at least 1415 (Normal) or 1445 (Hard) Item Level to enter this Raid. This dungeon drops Tier 3 Accessories, Ability Stones, Engraving Books and Cards.

Phase 1

Party leader throw corrosive, everyone throw destruction + follow up with destruction skill.
Each person need to pick up 1 blue orb, it can ignore if you are doing the Cheese.
Cheese

Use balthor, balthor take a bit to cast so cast it as soon as it hit 130 hp.

Phase 1 Goal

Remove both his armor have blue orb buff on everyone by 130 bar.

Note

He will also follow with a giant AOE attack that you have to be on the edges of the arena to dodge, but only if that edge is opened up which means he has to previously attack it, top and bottom are always opened, otherwise, he need to attack it to open it.

Phase 2

Note

You can't timestop in red, you must first exit red and timezone in yellow zone.

The pillar get hit first will always explode first, this will be important later easier to dodge closer toward the boss.

Phase 3

Note

Getting knocked off is instant dead, you can't walk off however (safe to use movement skill).

Phase 5

Note

The easiest way to dodge this is to run towards the pillar that first explodes like so on the screen right now be careful of any follow-up attack as the arena is small, so you have a higher chance of getting knocked off.

Phase 6

A trick here you could do is stand infront of him count to 3 after he start punching and timetop.
Sequence

4 cone attack, AOE appear under valtan attack infront, valtan attack outside pillar spawn (hide behind pillar), pillar explode (go to place without pillar).

Balthor + timestop here can help a lot.

Everything you need to know:

Counterable charge: Red=bad

Valtan's attack is that every time he does, this bull rush charging animation, it'll be a countable charge and so be sure to counter it for free DPS.

Silence to inside outside glow: No glow=attacking outside.

Balthor will start this attack with silence, and then hold his act up if the Axe is glowing, then it will attack inside, and if the Axe is not glowing, then it will attack outside the dodge accordingly, make sure to move away immediately after dodging to avoid the AOD on the ground.

Stagger check: First, break shield with high damage, then stagger.
Axe check: He will land on one person and that where the safe zone will be.
4 orb: Collect all four orb 1person counter boss.
Memory pizza: Dodge the first pizza, then dash toward that area.
Triple counter:

Send one person out to count each time, walk away after counting to avoid silencing your party.

The last (third) counter will wipe so everyone who has not counted should come and try.
