Armourer’s Scrap is a common currency item used to improve the quality of armor pieces (helmets, gloves, boots, body armor, and shields). Each scrap increases quality by 5% on normal (white) items, 2% on magic (blue) items, and 1% on rare (yellow) or unique (orange) items, up to a maximum of 20% quality. Higher quality boosts the item’s defense values and improves the odds of successfully linking sockets.
Armourer’s Scraps drop frequently from monsters, chests, and destructible objects. They can also be acquired by salvaging quality armor at the Hideout’s Salvage Bench.
Vendor recipes:
Trade a single normal armor piece with 20% quality for 1 scrap.
Trade multiple armor pieces (any rarity) with a combined quality of at least 40% for 1 scrap.
League mechanics like Expedition (Tujen’s shop), Heist (currency chests), and Delve (armor nodes).
Trading: Players often sell them in bulk for cheap (e.g., 50 scraps per Chaos Orb).
Armourer’s Scraps are among the most common currency drops, with an estimated 1–5 scraps per full map clear. To farm them efficiently:
Prioritize picking up white/magic armor with quality to vendor.
Run content with increased currency drops (Heist, Delve, high-quantity maps).
Use item quantity modifiers (gear, map mods) to boost drop rates.
Crafting preparation: Increase armor quality to 20% before using Jeweller’s Orbs or Orb of Fusing for better socket/link odds.
Early-game defense upgrades: Improve low-tier armor for survivability.
