Sacred Crystallised Lifeforce in Path of Exile is a special currency item used in the Horticrafting Station for powerful Harvest crafting. It is one of several types of Crystallised Lifeforce, alongside Primal, Vivid, and Wild variants. Introduced on June 19, 2020, with the 3.11 Harvest League, Sacred Crystallised Lifeforce enables advanced crafting options by harnessing the essence of monsters grown in the Sacred Grove. This currency stacks up to 10 and is tradable in the game.
Sacred Crystallised Lifeforce specifically drops from Oshabi, the final boss of the Harvest league encounters, known as the Avatar of the Grove. You can obtain it by defeating Oshabi, which requires fighting through Tier 4 Harvest bosses to acquire the necessary key (Sacred Blossom).
The drop rate of exceptional eldritch ichor from Oshabi is guaranteed, as Oshabi always drops her lifeforce.
The fastest way to farm Sacred Crystallised Lifeforce in Path of Exile, especially in Solo Self-Found (SSF) mode, is to efficiently farm bosses that drop the Sacred Blossom key, which is required to fight Oshabi, the Harvest final boss who drops the Lifeforce. The best strategy involves:
Using the Crop Rotation passive on the Atlas: This passive significantly increases the chance to spawn Harvest bosses every ~7 maps on average, although there is high variance (sometimes zero bosses, sometimes multiple in one map). This boosts the opportunity to obtain Sacred Blossoms.
Running many low-tier or fast maps: Speedrunning lower-tier maps quickly to get more Harvest spawns can compensate for the lower chance of Tier 4 plants. The faster you run, the more Harvest encounters you get, increasing your chances of getting the Sacred Blossom key.
Focusing on Harvest boss encounters: On average, bosses spawn approximately once every 25-30 Harvest encounters (about 15-20 maps with Harvest mechanics active). Sacred Blossom drops from these bosses at roughly a 10-20% drop rate.
Alternative farming in trade leagues: Some players find farming “memories” (map encounters) effective, averaging about 1 Sacred Blossom per 2 memories (8 maps), but this is less applicable in SSF.
