Madden NFL 22 Superstar X Factor Players Prediction

5/28/2021 11:21:11 AM

In Madden 21, EA only did one update throughout the year where they changed around superstar X Factor players and regular superstar players through the season, but that's just not enough because we have so many players in the game right now that deserve superstar X Factor or even regular superstar. They do not have it and it just doesn't make sense some of the best players in the league have not been updated in Madden because they kind of let it fall by the wayside this year. So going into Madden 22, there's a long list of players that should be getting superstar X Factor this year, and we've got 10 of them also with a couple of honorable mentions.

Madden 22 X Factor Superstar Predictions

These are the players that definitely in our opinion deserve to be X Factor players for Madden 22 and most of these players absolutely will when you look at how they performed in the season.

1. Josh Allen - X Factor: Bazooka

Without a doubt, Josh Allen will be a Superstar X Factor Player. He was a MVP candidate, even though Aaron Rodgers did run away with it Josh Allen was in that conversation as he had his team as one of the top seeds in the league and made the AFC championship game. He really emerged last year as a top quarterback in the league. He is currently a superstar player in the game but he definitely needs to be an X Factor and we think he is the number one top player that will absolutely get this going in to Madden 22, potentially giving him the Bazooka X Factor because he does have one of the strongest arms in the league.

2. Aaron Jones - X Factor: First One Free

Of all the running backs in the game, Aaron Jones is the one who doesn't have X Factor but probably needs it the most. Now he's the only one on this list that didn't actually make any of the all-pro teams but that is because there's a lot of really good running backs in the league right now, Aaron Jones is one of those players. He is a superstar player but we think he should get bumped up to X Factor because he's a pretty special player.

3. Darren Waller - X Factor: Double Me

Jump over to the tight end position right now and it's none other than Darren Waller. He and Travis Kelsey were the two players that had the best seasons last year, but Darren Waller has been getting better every year, he's actually more like a wide receiver than a tight end. He is a superstar player but he definitely needs to be an X Factor in Madden 22.

4. DK Metcalf - X Factor: RAC Em Up

He's got a long way to go to hit his prime but we think DK Metcalf is a player that has a good chance to get the X Factor this year, they might just leave him as a superstar player and the only reason is because he does have a little bit of issue dropping the ball, but outside of that he is a total stud. Even though he's not the best receiver in the league, DK Metcalf should be in X Factor line because of his size speed combination

5. Justin Jefferson - X Factor: Double Me

This is another player that we think is kind of on the fence and that's only because he only played one year, so they might not let him go all the way to X Factor just yet. But when you look at what he did as a rookie, he broke records and was an absolute monster. But again, in Madden, the young players  and second year rookies, EA don't always bump them up too quickly, so when you have the type of season he has we think that he actually deserves that nod, so he is number five on this list.

6. Minkah Fitzpatrick - X Factor: Zone Hawk

Minkah Fitzpatrick has been criminally underrated in Madden 21, he came in the last year with a pretty low rating compared to what he did on the field. He eventually got raised throughout the year. Minkah Fitzpatrick has been a superstar player, but deserves to be at X Factor on defense in Madden 22, he gets you the ball back which is the number one thing you want your defense to do - go create turnovers and he does that so.

7. Xavien Howard - X Factor: Shutdown

Number seven on the list sticking with defense and sticking with another player that just goes and gets the ball, that's Xavien Howard. While there's a chance they will not do this because he's currently not even a superstar player in the game. Typically from what we've noticed EA doesn't take a player from non-superstar all the way up to X Factor, they make a player become a superstar first before they put him to X Factor. So Xavien Howard might not wind up being an X Factor player, he might just go to superstar first. But we think he deserves to go all the way up to X Factor when you look at again - he's always around the ball, got elite ball skills in terms of catching getting the ball back for his team.

8. Calvin Ridley - X Factor: Double Me

Calvin Ridley has to be mentioned here as well he's gotten better every year and this last year he went to a whole nother level again. Most of these guys we are mentioning on this list have made all pro teams as well, so if you've made an all-pro team whether it's the first team or second team that means, you're one of the best players at your position in the league. Last year Calvin Ridley was one of the best wide receivers last year, definitely is a player that deserves X Factor in Madden 22.

9. Za'Darius Smith - X Factor: Unstoppable Force

Za'Darius Smith is always underrated in Madden and he is currently a superstar player in the game, but he definitely deserves X Factor - another one of those packer players that we think will be going into the X Factor range this year along with Aaron Jones. Look at the last two seasons for Za'Darius Smith on the packers, double digit sax and one of the better pass rushers in the league. He's a player that when you need a big play he, can give you a big play come up with a big sack or create tons of pressure, and just make the offense completely have to kind of change course throw the ball away. He definitely deserves to be the next pass rusher that gets the X Factor nod for Madden 22.

10. Fred Warner - X Factor: Shutdown

Fred Warner is one of the best linebackers in the league, currently a superstar player and he made an all-pro team. He almost plays as good as a safety and coverage, always around the ball. He's that player on defense making those impact plays can create turnovers, is always in the right place. He deserves to go up to that X Factor range for Madden 22.
