Diablo 4 Season 12 New Unique Items & How to Get Them (Drop Location)

Diablo 4 Season 12 brings exciting new content for players, and one of the most anticipated parts is the arrival of five new Unique Items. These powerful pieces of gear can change how you play, boost your strength, and help you defeat even the toughest demons—including the fearsome Butcher. In this guide, we'll present the full list of the new D4 Season 12 Uniques, and all the methods to farm them.

Diablo 4 Season 12 New Unique Items & How to Get Them (Drop Location)

Diablo 4 Unique Items are among the most powerful and rare gear in the game. They are different from regular Legendary Items because they have fixed, one-of-a-kind effects that can’t be found on any other piece of equipment. These effects can completely change your character’s build, making your skills stronger, your defenses tougher, or giving you brand-new abilities to use in battle. Every Unique Item in Diablo 4 has two key parts: Affixes and a Unique Power. Affixes are small stat boosts that help your character (like more health, faster attack speed, or better resistance to damage). The Unique Power is the special, game-changing effect that makes the item unique—this is what makes these items worth farming for.

Unique Items can be weapons, armor, or jewelry, and they range from being usable by all classes to being limited to a few specific classes. Unlike some other gear, Unique Items cannot be traded once you have modified them, so you’ll need to farm them yourself to add them to your collection. They also come in different quality levels: Ancestral Unique Items are the strongest, with higher stats and at least one extra powerful affix, and they drop at a minimum Item Power of 800. Mythic Unique Items (once called Uber Uniques) are even rarer and more powerful, but the new Season 12 Uniques are standard Unique Items—still incredibly strong!

Since Diablo 4 launched, each season has added new Unique Items to keep the game fresh. Early seasons added many new Uniques, but recent seasons have slowed down, usually adding only one class-specific Unique per class. Season 11 was an exception: it added 22 new Uniques for the Paladin, which was a brand-new class that needed to catch up to the other six classes in terms of available Unique gear.

List of All Diablo 4 Season 12 New Unique Items

Season 12 introduces five new Unique Items, each with its own set of affixes and a powerful Unique Power. Below, we’ll go through each one in detail. Season 12 is changing things again by adding five new Uniques—three usable by all classes and two usable by multiple classes. This focus on general and multi-class Uniques will help make more builds viable, so you’ll have more options to play how you want. Notably, Necromancers and Druids can use all five new Uniques, which might make them the top classes in Season 12—especially since the Paladin is getting some nerfs this season.

1. Blood-Mad Idol - Unique Amulet (Usable by All Classes)

The Blood-Mad Idol is a Unique Amulet, which means it slots into your amulet slot and is available to every class in Diablo 4. Amulets are great because they provide big stat boosts, and this one is no exception—plus its Unique Power is all about dealing massive damage (with a trade-off).

Affixes:

  • All Stats: 51–65 (boosts every one of your character’s main stats: Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Willpower)

  • Attack Speed: 8.3–10% (makes your attacks happen faster, so you can deal damage more often)

  • Critical Strike Chance: 7–8% (increases the chance that your attacks land a critical hit, which deals much more damage)

  • Damage Reduction while Injured: 17.5–31.5% (reduces the damage you take when your health is low, helping you survive)

Unique Power:

  • You are always Berserking but take 200% increased damage as Burning over 8 seconds. While Burning, Berserking grants an additional 75–125% increased damage.

Berserking is a state that makes your character stronger (deals more damage) and faster in most classes. With this amulet, you are always Berserking—you don’t need to use a skill or meet any other requirements to get that boost. However, there’s a catch: you take 200% more damage from Burning effects (like fire damage that lingers on you) for 8 seconds. But here’s the good part: while you are Burning, your Berserking gives you an extra 75–125% increased damage. So this amulet is perfect for aggressive builds that want to deal as much damage as possible—just be careful of Burning enemies!

2. Wendigo Brand - Unique Ring (Usable by All Classes)

The Wendigo Brand is a Unique Ring, another slot that all classes can use. Rings are great for boosting survival and damage, and this one rewards you for killing lots of demons quickly.

Affixes:

  • Life: 424–457 (increases your maximum health, so you can take more damage before dying)

  • Life Regen: 855–1086 (restores your health over time, helping you heal between fights or during battles)

  • Life on Hit: 146–159 (restores a small amount of health every time you hit an enemy, keeping you alive while attacking)

  • Physical Resistance: 441–490 (reduces the damage you take from physical attacks, which many demons use)

Unique Power:

  • Every 15 kills in the last 30–60 seconds increases your damage dealt by 2%, and Maximum Health by 1%.

This effect is all about stacking bonuses as you kill enemies. Here’s how it works: for every 15 demons you kill within a window of 30 to 60 seconds, you get two buffs: +2% to all damage you deal, and +1% to your maximum health. These buffs stack—so if you kill 30 enemies in that time, you get +4% damage and +2% max health; 45 enemies give +6% damage and +3% max health, and so on. This ring is perfect for builds that clear large groups of enemies quickly (like AoE, or “Area of Effect” builds). The more you kill, the stronger and tougher you get!

3. Rustbitten Dirk - Unique Dagger (Usable by Sorcerer, Druid, Rogue, Necromancer)

The Rustbitten Dirk is a Unique Dagger, and it’s limited to four classes: Sorcerer, Druid, Rogue, and Necromancer. Daggers are fast weapons, and this one is great for builds that focus on single-target damage (killing one enemy at a time).

Affixes:

  • All Stats: 51–65 (boosts all your main stats, making your character stronger overall)

  • Life: 424–457 (increases your maximum health for better survival)

  • Attack Speed: 8.3–10% (makes the dagger attack faster, so you can hit enemies more often)

  • Vulnerable Damage: 40–50% (increases the damage you deal to enemies that are Vulnerable—Vulnerable enemies take much more damage from all sources)

Unique Power:

  • Deal 50–100% increased damage to isolated enemies.

Isolated enemies are enemies that are alone—no other demons nearby. With this dagger, when you attack an isolated enemy, you deal 50 to 100% more damage than normal. This is perfect for builds that hunt down elites, bosses, or lone enemies. For example, a Rogue who sneaks up on a single elite enemy can use this dagger to one-shot or quickly kill it. The Vulnerable Damage affix makes this even better: if you make an isolated enemy Vulnerable, you’ll deal massive damage!

4. Wyrdskin - Unique Gloves (Usable by All Classes)

The Wyrdskin are Unique Gloves, usable by all classes. Gloves often boost attack speed and critical strike chance, and these gloves add powerful debuffs to your attacks—making enemies easier to kill.

Affixes:

  • Life: 424–457 (increases your maximum health)

  • 1–2 Ranks to Core Skills: Adds 1 or 2 levels to your Core Skills (your main damage-dealing skills, like a Barbarian’s Whirlwind or a Sorcerer’s Fireball), making them stronger.

  • Critical Strike Chance: 7–8% (increases your chance of landing critical hits)

  • Attack Speed: 8.3–10% (makes your attacks faster)

Unique Power:

  • Attacks apply Vulnerable to Distant Enemies, and Weakened to Close Enemies. Deal 10–30% increased damage to Enemies that are both Vulnerable and Weakened.

This is one of the most useful Unique Powers in Season 12, and it works for every class. When you attack an enemy that’s far away , you make them Vulnerable. When you attack an enemy that’s close, you make them Weakened (they deal less damage to you). If an enemy is both Vulnerable and Weakened (for example, a distant enemy that gets close after being Vulnerable, or a close enemy that you hit from far away), you deal an extra 10–30% damage to them. This power is versatile because it works in all situations—whether you’re fighting close-up or from a distance. It also helps your team if you’re playing with friends: debuffing enemies makes them easier for everyone to kill. Many players think this glove will be a meta item because of how useful it is.

5. Thousand-Eye Reaver - Unique One-Handed Axe (Usable by Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin)

The Thousand-Eye Reaver is a Unique One-Handed Axe, limited to four classes: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, and Paladin. One-handed axes are strong and fast, and this one rewards you for moving around the battlefield.

Affixes:

  • Life: 424–457 (increases your maximum health)

  • Critical Strike Chance: 7–8% (increases your chance of critical hits)

  • Movement Speed on Elite Kill: 36.5–50% (after killing an Elite enemy, your movement speed increases by 36.5–50% for a short time—great for moving to the next fight quickly)

  • Lucky Hit: Up to a 40% Chance to Deal 900–2,400 Physical Damage (when you hit an enemy, there’s a 40% chance to deal extra physical damage—between 900 and 2,400—on top of your normal attack)

Unique Power:

  • Moving grants Ferocity, and Maximum Ferocity is increased by 1–3. Ferocity also increases Movement Speed by 4–8% per stack.

Ferocity is a buff that many classes have (like Barbarians or Druids) that increases their damage or speed. With this axe, every time you move (even a little bit), you gain a stack of Ferocity. Additionally, your maximum number of Ferocity stacks is increased by 1, 2, or 3 (random when you get the item). Each stack of Ferocity also gives you 4–8% more movement speed. So the more you move, the more Ferocity you get, the faster you move, and the stronger you become! This is perfect for builds that are mobile—classes that move around a lot while fighting (like Barbarians who spin with Whirlwind or Druids who shapeshift and run). The Movement Speed on Elite Kill affix makes this even better: kill an Elite, move faster, gain more Ferocity, and keep the momentum going.

How to Farm & Get New D4 Season 12 Unique Items?

Now that you know all about the new Unique Items, you’re probably wondering how to get them. While the specific target farm bosses will be updated later, there are several reliable methods to farm these items right now. All of these methods work for the new Season 12 Uniques, and they’re accessible to most players. Unique Items are rare, so you might need to farm these methods for a while before you get the item you want. Don’t get discouraged—keep trying, and you’ll get them eventually! Also, note that Unique Items can drop on any difficulty, but the strongest versions only drop on Torment difficulty or higher.

1. Target Farming Tormented Bosses (Lair Bosses)

Tormented Bosses (also called Lair Bosses or Uber Bosses) are some of the toughest enemies in Diablo 4’s endgame, but they have the highest chance to drop Unique Items. These bosses are found in special lairs, and you need to summon them using specific materials. Each Tormented Boss has a loot table and while the new Season 12 Uniques will be added to these loot tables, we don’t yet know which bosses drop which new Unique (this will be updated later).

  • Torment Difficulty Only: You can only summon Tormented Bosses on Torment I difficulty or higher. The higher the Torment level, the more Uniques the boss will drop: Torment 1 drops 3 Uniques, Torment 2 drops 4, Torment 3 drops 5, and Torment 4 drops 7.

  • Guaranteed Unique Drops: On Torment 1 and 2, bosses are guaranteed to drop 1 Unique from their specific loot table. The other Uniques they drop have a 50% chance to come from their loot table and 50% from a general Unique table. On Torment 3 and 4, bosses are guaranteed to drop 2 Uniques from their specific loot table.

  • Belial is Special: Belial (one of the Tormented Bosses) is unique because he lets you choose which other Lair Boss’s loot table to target. He also has the highest chance to drop Mythic Unique Items of all Tormented Bosses.

  • Mini Belial: After defeating any Tormented Boss (except Belial himself), there’s a chance that “Mini Belial” (Belial’s ambush form) will spawn. Killing Mini Belial also gives you a chance to get Unique Items.

2. Gambling with Murmuring Obols at the Purveyor of Curiosities

Gambling is a fun and easy way to get Unique Items, and it’s great for players who don’t want to fight tough bosses. You need Murmuring Obols to gamble. You can get Murmuring Obols by doing almost any activity in Diablo 4—killing enemies, completing world events, doing dungeons, or finishing quests. You’ll naturally collect them as you play.

The Purveyor of Curiosities: This NPC is found in most major towns (like Kyovashad). They sell mystery items for Murmuring Obols—you choose the type of item (amulet, ring, dagger, gloves, axe, etc.), and they give you a random item of that type. The best part about gambling for the new Season 12 Uniques is that you can target the slot of the item you want. For example, if you want the Blood-Mad Idol (amulet), you can gamble for amulets. If you want the Rustbitten Dirk (dagger), gamble for daggers. This makes it easier to focus on the item you need. Keep in mind that gambling doesn’t guarantee a Unique Item—you might get a regular Legendary or Rare item instead. But since you collect Murmuring Obols easily, it’s worth gambling whenever you have extra Obols (especially when you’re close to the Obols cap).

3. Helltides and Tree of Whispers

Helltides and Tree of Whispers are two endgame activities that are easy to do and give you a chance to get Unique Items. They’re great for players who want to farm Uniques while doing other things. Helltides are events where the forces of Hell invade Sanctuary. During a Helltide, you’ll find special enemies that drop Aberrant Cinders—a currency you can use to open Tortured Gifts. These Tortured Gifts can contain Unique Items, and you can choose which type of item to get (amulet, ring, weapon, etc.) by picking the right chest. The Tree of Whispers is an endgame system where you complete small tasks (called Grim Favors) to earn Collections. These Collections are chests that you can open for rewards, including Unique Items. Like Helltides, you can choose which type of item to get from the Collection (e.g., gloves for Wyrdskin).

Tips for farming Helltides for Uniques:

  • Focus on killing enemies in the Helltide area to get Aberrant Cinders quickly.

  • Open Tortured Gifts that match the slot of the Unique you want (e.g., open Amulet Tortured Gifts for the Blood-Mad Idol).

  • Helltides happen regularly, so check the in-game map for when the next one starts.

Tips for farming Tree of Whispers for Uniques:

  • Complete Grim Favors quickly (they’re small tasks like killing a certain number of enemies or looting chests) to earn Collections fast.

  • Choose Collections that match the slot of the Unique you want.

  • You can do Tree of Whispers alongside Helltides—complete Grim Favors during a Helltide to earn Collections while also getting Aberrant Cinders!

4. Infernal Hordes

Infernal Hordes is a wave-based endgame activity—you fight waves of demons, and after defeating all waves, you fight a group of bosses. As you kill demons in Infernal Hordes, you collect Burning Aether—a currency you can use to open Spoils of Hell chests. For farming Unique Items, you should focus on opening the “Spoils of Equipment” chest. This chest can only be opened once per Infernal Hordes run, but it has a chance to drop Legendary, Unique, and Mythic Unique Items. It also guarantees at least one Ancestral Legendary Item, so it’s worth doing even if you don’t get a Unique right away.

Tips for farming Infernal Hordes for Uniques:

  • Survive as many waves as possible to collect more Burning Aether (you need enough to open the Spoils of Equipment chest).

  • Play with friends if you can—teamwork makes it easier to survive the waves and defeat the final bosses.

  • Infernal Hordes is a great way to farm Uniques while also practicing your build’s survival and damage.

5. General World Drops

While not the most efficient method, Unique Items can drop from any enemy or chest in Diablo 4—even regular demons or random chests in the open world. This means you might get a new Season 12 Unique while doing almost any activity: leveling up, doing dungeons, killing world bosses, or even looting a chest in a random cave. This is a bonus method because you don’t need to focus on it—just keep playing the game, and you might get lucky! It’s especially good for new players who are still leveling up and haven’t unlocked the endgame activities yet.
