If you want to farm the best loot in Arc Raiders, not all maps are created equal. Some zones are stacked with high-value lockers, weapon crates, and blueprint drops, while others are better for quick XP runs or targeted farming. In this Arc Raiders loot tier list, we're showing you the best loot spot across the five best farming maps: Buried City, Damn Battlegrounds, Blue Gate, Spaceport, and Stella Montis.
Arc Raiders Best Map - Arc Raiders Loot Tier List & Ranking
In the current meta you need to adapt to your spawn, get moving instantly, and hit the high-value spots before everyone else does. This Arc Raider map tier list breaks down the five best farming maps in the game right now—Buried City, Damn Battlegrounds, Blue Gate, Spaceport, and Stella Montis—and highlights the most consistent loot spots in each one. Whether you're after Tempest blueprints, Volcano drops, massive crafting mats, or weapon crates, this guide shows you the best maps for PvE, PvP and Solo.
Buried City – Key Loot Spots
(Great for Tempest BP drops)
Enter, run upstairs, sprint-jump across the window gap—loot the medical bag and hidden containers. Drop down, go inside, jump out backwards, reach the breached-door room packed with Arc Raiders items. Lockers downstairs; weapon crate in the corner; backpack + ammo case upstairs. Several red lockers and tool containers—easy miss, high value. Massive locker cluster. Expect multiple epics per run.
Blue Gate – Weapon Crate Path (6–7 spawns)
(Extremely consistent weapon crate farming)
Hit the ninja spawn first—rarely looted even late. Drop down the zip to crates 2 & 3. Open platform for crate 4. Tunnel branch for crate 5. Backroom vault for crate 6 (and sometimes a 7th). Extract via lift with your choice of exits.
Spaceport – Arrival, Departure, Tower Bottoms
(Volcano BPs seem more common here)
Breach both side rooms + red locker room—frequent purples. Low-traffic, easy red locker farming. Loot bottom floors, not the top—9+ blue lockers without PvP risk. Sweep the entire top floor.
Damn Battlegrounds – Water Treatment & RNA
(Great for XP + blue locker farming)
Door in the back → cluster of red lockers. 50+ containers in a single sweep; four guaranteed blue lockers per loop.
Stella Montis – The Insane Crafting Loop
(Hardest zone, but absolutely cracked for epic mats)
This zone is overtuned and PvP-heavy, but the reward is absurd. Free raider hatchkey recrafts every run. Free Looting MK3 recrafts. Multiple epics per tiny run. Breach everything—players rarely bother even though the mats here pay for all your deaths. Expect 10–16 Tempest-worth of materials per hour.

How to Unlock All Maps in Arc Raiders
Arc Raiders gradually opens up new maps as you play more rounds. Each one has its own difficulty level and loot profile, so progressing through them naturally prepares you for tougher zones. Here’s how to unlock every map:
1. Dam Battlegrounds – Unlocked by Default
You can play this map from the moment you start. It’s the entry-level zone designed for learning movement, shooting, and extraction basics.
2. Practice Range – Unlocks After Playing 4 Rounds
Once you complete four rounds in any map, the Practice Range becomes available. It’s a safe space to test weapons, improve aim, and learn recoil patterns. No enemies and no loot.
3. Buried City – Unlocks After Playing 6 Rounds
After six rounds, Buried City opens up. This is where the difficulty starts to ramp up a bit, and it’s ideal once you have a few gear upgrades and understand enemy patterns.
4. Spaceport – Unlocks After Playing 12 Rounds
Play twelve rounds total and Spaceport becomes available. Enemy density increases here, but so does the quality of loot, making it a strong mid-game farming zone.
5. The Blue Gate – Unlocks After Playing 18 Rounds
After eighteen rounds, you unlock The Blue Gate—one of the toughest maps in the game. It also has some of the best loot, but the open sightlines make encounters much more dangerous.
6. Stella Montis – Community Unlock (Already Available)
Stella Montis doesn’t follow the progression system. It was unlocked for all players through a community milestone, so you can access it immediately. It features tight layouts and vertical terrain that reward slow, tactical movement.
