Path of Exile 3.27 brings another season where efficient currency farming is as important as ever, and Kingsmarch remains a top choice for both dedicated and more casual players. This PoE 3.27 Kingsmarch guide covers the updated Settlers cheat sheet, latest best practices for setting up and running Kingsmarch shipments, with a focus on simple routines for steady divine and mirror shard income, as well as optimized setups for players aiming to maximize their returns.
Path of Exile 3.27 Kingsmarch Shipping Guide
In Path of Exile 3.27, Kingsmarch Shipping has a few notable adjustments. Abandoning a commandeered shipment will now trigger a warning about the loss of crew members. The cost to reroll recruits with the "high quality recruits" option at Raulf has been reduced from 20,000 to 16,000 Gold. Furthermore, workers rerolled at Raulf with expertise in Mapping, Disenchanting, and Farming will have a reduced chance of gaining expertise in other job types.
Still, after finishing the campaign and meeting Johan, you gain access to Kingsmarch, where the core gameplay revolves around hiring workers, managing crops, producing resources, and sending shipments for high-value rewards.
The system now caps workers at level five. This means the time to complete tasks and the gold costs have increased compared to previous versions, with the adjacency bonus for farming also removed, making some mechanics less efficient. Most of your gold will go towards hiring and upgrading workers, sending out shipments, and occasionally gambling for early-game gear.
Not only did it add a new talent that allows for easier mineral gathering, but it also introduced some interesting beetles. Unfortunately, the most useful beetles are extremely rare, and the new talent’s yield is quite limited. Of the five mineral types, only Verisium is actually valuable. Yet, with the right setup and understanding, these new features can still be profitable.

How to Set Up Kingsmarch in Path of Exile 3.27?
Kingsmarch in Path of Exile 3.26 evolved from the Settlers of Calgar league, where the core gameplay was building up a city, gathering resources, and upgrading everything. The upgrading part is gone for the most part. All that is needed now is to hire people and manage the city for steady profit and shipment rewards. Before to set up the most profit farming strategies, we would like to presents the basic steps to set up the Kingmarch shipment for the players who play the mechanic first time:
1. Unlocking Kingsmarch
Kingsmarch is unlocked once the campaign is finished and after progressing through the episode where Johan appears and persistently asks for gold. At the start, after talking to everyone, Johan provides some starting gold. By this point during the campaign, some gold should already be available.
2. Worker Recruitment and Level Cap
Recruiting workers is straightforward. Many returning players might notice that rank five is now the maximum. There is no reason not to aim for rank five workers, as this is the cap. Worker quality and ranks are important for maximizing profits and efficiency.
3. City Stations
Farming Plots - Farming plots allow different crops to be grown. The common strategy is to focus on Bluethium, as it provides a very high return on divines from shipments.
Miners - Miners are used for acquiring jewelry, weapons, and armor. Generally, having at least one of each type is sufficient. Assignments can be adjusted, but typically a few level five miners suffice to keep up with demand.
Smelters - Smelters work similarly to miners. Bars of different types can be produced, and having a few smelters at level five is usually enough.
4. Shipping and Rewards
Most of the sending is dedicated to profitable shipments. For example, sending 10,000 Bluethium with around 30,000 dust can yield significant rewards. Shipments can result in divine orbs, alterations, and sometimes rare items like six-links or rune grafts. Rune grafts are valuable for creating new masteries.
Pirate events occur near ships, providing 50,000 free gold through an easy fight. The only notable threat is the anchor, but the fight is manageable.
5. Map Runners (Mappers) and City Fights
Mappers can be assigned to run maps, including up to tier 17. Success with tier 17s varies, while tier 16s and lower are more consistently profitable. Map running is expensive and should be reserved for times when surplus gold is available. Mappers can yield unique items, Uber fragments, and other valuable loot.
City fights include pirates, comets, and traitors. Traitors can drop valuable items like Swallen, and fights are generally manageable. Stand in the middle and defeat the boss, while avoiding hazards like geysers.
6. Shipment Management
Shipment sizes can be adjusted using sliders to balance dust and other resources. Consistent profit can be achieved by sending regular shipments, and as resources accumulate, larger shipments become possible. For smaller shipments, lower-level boats may be sufficient and more efficient, as mappers are the main gold sink.
Min/Max Crop Shipments - Targeting Mirror Shards:
Shipment value doesn't matter, only total crop quantity does.
Hard cap: 800 currency per shipment, or 500 if sending only one crop type.
Cap is hit at 17m total crop value with a 50/50 split of wheat and corn.
Example:
- Wheat: 12 x 315,000 = 3,780,000
- Corn: 15 x 315,000 = 4,725,000
- Total crop value = 8.5m
- Add 8.505m dust (1:1 ratio) -> Total = 17m
Alternative with other crops, equally divided or less dust:
Formula: Needed units per crop = (17,000,000 - dust) / (sum of crop values)
No Dust: 17,000,000 1 (12+15) = 630,000 of each
Note: The Formula only applies if the dust value doesn't exceed the crop value for a 1:1 ratio.
Value, not quantity, determines this.
If sending all 5 crops, do equal amounts and scale value to 50m, almost as good.
Send 10k Bzanth at a time to Kalguur as often as you can.
7. Recombination and Enchanters
The Enchanter system from the previous season was removed. The focus is now on smelting and recombinators, which remain powerful. Dust, obtained from breaking down items with the duster, is used for recombination and shipping.
PoE 3.27 Kingsmarch Shipping Strategy for Divines & Currency Farm
For Path of Exile 3.27, the Kingsmarch farming approach focuses on efficient map clearing with minimal investment, prioritizing quantity and ease of execution over expensive setups. Over the course of about six or seven hours, this method generated around 100 divines, utilizing a self-ignite build that only requires stacking fire resistance and maximum life, with chaos resistance as a secondary concern. The build itself is intentionally kept unoptimized, using the cheapest available unique or rare items, with a focus on practicality and speed rather than perfection. The overall goal is to rapidly clear maps, gather valuable loot, and leverage new mechanics for additional rewards, all while keeping gear and currency expenditure very low.
1. Leveling and Early Gear
Start with basic, low-requirement items such as Goldrim, a shield like Springleaf or Sapphire Seed, Kaom's Roots, and Ashcaller if preferred. Equip a belt that provides attributes, fire resistance, and movement speed, and use any armor you find along the way, as "any armor would do." Level up with Rolling Magma until you can sustain Righteous Fire (RF). The mentioned items and "very low level items" are sufficient to reach this point. Once you can sustain RF, equip it, and take advantage of the spectral wolves and summoned raging spirits that spawn on kills, which will efficiently clear packs up to around Act 8 or 9.
At Act 9, swap your scepter to any available one with a crafted "damage over time" modifier, ideally one that increases fire damage and possibly adds a chance to ignite, though the latter is not necessary. Focus on cheap options; "increase fire damage 1k use nothing" and crafted modifiers are all you need at this stage.
2. Mapping Approach
Choose the least desirable maps you have, avoiding your preferred ones, and simply Alchemy-orb them. The only map mod to avoid is Elemental Reflect. These maps are being cleared to accumulate maps for later use and to increase your overall map pool. Use your first three Atlas tree points to boost map drop chance, resulting in a large stockpile of tier 16 maps. Once you have a surplus of unwanted maps, switch to the Kingsmarch strategy, targeting the King's March node.
3. Atlas Tree and League Mechanics
The node that makes this strategy work causes equipment items with rarity dropped by possessed monsters in your maps to have a 5% chance to be converted to Thermalic Dust. Additionally, any Sulphite found in your maps will be granted as a random ore, and you will also receive Lifeforce. Focus your Atlas skill tree on Niko nodes for increased Niko appearances, but avoid investing in every single node. Also, take Harvest nodes for additional rewards, targeting oral deposits and especially those that can become Verisium, as these have a chance to spawn a crater leading to a boss fight and the possibility of valuable drops.

Include Eater of Worlds nodes to gain altar progression and to potentially find divine altars for extra currency, which is especially valuable since loot from other sources is much weaker. Add a few Abyss and Beyond nodes, since the build clears beyond monsters well, resulting in additional currency and bulk-sellable items for future projects.
4. Scarabs and Map Mods
Bring some Cartography Scarabs to boost map drops and Ambush Scarabs for strongboxes, as some can yield expensive items. Divination Scarabs are not required. Block all mechanics you do not want, such as Legion, Expedition, Ritual, Blight, and Ultimatum. Delirium and Abyss are acceptable, and you can target Grove if you wish. Contracts and Heist content are optional, as the Atlas is already completed.
5. Running the Maps
No expensive scarabs or investments are needed—just alch and go. Take any extra mechanics you enjoy, such as Abyss, Harbinger, or Ambush, but save your currency for later investments. In the Kingsmarch map, the build enables you to clear "pretty much AFK" by focusing only on fire resistance and life. Damage is not a concern due to the self-ignite mechanic, which also grants immense survivability ("90% decreased damage while ignited" and up to 100%), and you can tank everything and take every altar without worrying about downsides.
6. Boss Fights and Harvesting
Bosses are only killed for map completion and invitations—swap your ring as needed and mark the boss if necessary. For Harvest maps, collect crops for additional rewards. As the process continues, disenchant items in your hideout using the rogue for Thermalic Dust, turning excess loot into further value.
PoE 3.27 Kingsmarch Farming Strategy for Mirror Shards & Divines
Here we share an optimized Kingsmarch setup as the best passive farm in the game for mirror shards and divine orbs, this is one of the best casual passive shipment farm in PoE 3.26 to gain currency now.
1. Worker Recruitment and Assignment
For most players, start by focusing on recruiting and leveling up farmers to rank five as soon as possible. Use the 20,000 gold recruitment option for the highest chance at max-level workers. While rolling for farmers, you'll also accumulate level five workers for shipping and other roles. Prioritize shipping workers next, as higher levels reduce shipment risks.
Farmers: Always keep them working to generate crops for shipments.
Other Workers: Miners and smelters are less important unless you have a specific plan for ores or bars. You can recruit them to level five but only pay them when you need their output.
2. Farm Layout
A proven farm setup is a 2-2-1-1 layout:
Two corn plots
Two wheat plots
One flex plot (switch between corn/wheat to balance stock)
One Bluethium plot
Corn and wheat are the premium crops for the 17 million shipment, providing a steady supply for high-value runs. Flex plots help balance your crop stocks. Ignore the adjacency bonus, as it no longer applies. Focus on maximizing the output of corn, wheat, and bluethium.
3. Shipping Recipes
17 Million Crop Shipment:
This is the top method for mirror shard income. Mirror shards are highly valuable, and these shipments are more accessible than the 50 million shipment, which is much slower to accumulate. Three 17 million shipments can often be sent before a single 50 million one.10k Bluethium Shipments:
These are consistent for divine orbs, especially when sent to Calgar. They’re a great filler shipment while building up for larger runs.Ore/Bar Shipments:
Sending ore bars to Gakano provides tattoos and stack decks, which are both in demand. Aim to hit about 500,000 value in bars per shipment.
4. Dusting (Disenchanting) for Dust
Normal dusting has been slowed down this league, so it’s better to focus on dusting tier zero and tier one uniques. Quality these items to 20% first, as this increases the dust yield. The top uniques for dusting are Rocket Dance, Divinarius, Marikai’s Mark, Betrayal Stings, and Yoke of Suffering. For jewelry, use catalysts to quality them. The investment in dusting uniques pays off when you’re able to send out high-value shipments for divines and mirror shards.
PoE 3.27 Kingsmarch Shipping Strategy for Easy Currency Farming
This strategy is recommended for those who want to run maps faster, have builds that are not yet very strong, or simply have extra map slots. The only action needed is to walk over and click the ore, making sure to activate the movement speed passive for a significant 45% boost.
1. Efficient Atlas and Shipping Setup
The recommended approach involves specific map talent tree investments. Beyond the usual talent points, certain extra points, especially the smaller ones, are very strong. This talent appears to multiply the 3% boost from the mining talent. Testing has shown that the new talent’s random drops have rarity weights, and notable passives do indeed help with results.

Shipping forms the foundation of this method. For more detail, consult the PoE wiki’s shipping page or Sirgog’s videos. Tattoos stand out as far more valuable than runes, so focus on just two ports. Chart comparisons clearly show that Ngakanu is the best choice. Jewelry is hard to sell, and beetles are not valuable enough to justify giving up tattoo rewards.
2. Shipping Strategy
All ships should be sent to Ngakanu. Tattoos and fate card decks are the main goals. There are two cargo setups to remember: fate card deck ships and tattoo ships.
Fate Card Deck Shipments:
Return is steady when shipment value is kept under 4 million. Every 3,500 cargo value (55 Verisium Bars) sent yields about 1 Chaos Orb. Exceeding 4 million cargo value results in sharply reduced returns. The 4 million value cap is calculated before dust is added.Tattoo Shipments:
For tattoo shipments, larger loads seem to give better rewards, aside from jackpot samples. However, excessive shipping size can cause diminishing returns, so it's best to fill ships as much as possible without going overboard.
3. Worker Setup and Ore Efficiency
If funds are limited, prioritize smelters, as miners are much more efficient in 3.26 compared to smelting. Proper worker setup ensures continuous and efficient ore processing for steady shipping profits.
4. Example Results and Profit Calculation
From 45 Dunes maps with zero map quality and two beetles per run (representing minimum ore yield), ore collection was tracked (subtracting Verisium bars generated by workers during farming):
43649 - 1889 - 297 = 41463 ore collected.
No map affinity for ores was observed, so any map choice is acceptable. Converting ore amount into goods value, the total tattoo income was 422 Chaos. Including the value from Verisium bars (accounting for dust costs) and miscellaneous minerals, total income reached 1285 Chaos. After subtracting 60 Chaos for costs, the net result was 1225 Chaos. Divided over 45 maps and three clicks per run, each sulfur ore click netted at least 9 Chaos.a
Using Kalguuran Scarab of Refinement (14 Chaos each) allows skipping waiting time and worker payments, but reduces profit to 4.41 Chaos per 1,000 units. Actual hourly profit depends on ship strength and speed. With optimal play, spending only 30 seconds per map to click all ores, potential earnings reach 21 Divines per hour (delayed income) or 10.2 Divines per hour. However, this is not a steady hourly strategy, as income depends on ore distribution and shipping cycles. At times, there may be no Verisium ore at all, which can be frustrating.
